Her business card says it all, "We met for a reason." I felt that way about her the moment I heard her present at a networking event and immediately knew that I wanted to hire her to work with my teenage daughter who was recovering mentally, emotionally and physically from a recent brain injury. In the back of my mind I thought to myself, I'd love to work with this woman in the future. Fast-forward her completing her assignment with my daughter and I ended up hiring her as my coach as well. Brandi is the kind of woman I wish I could have as a lifelong friend (without having to pay hourly), but since we met through networking, I learned about what she does. I was worried I would have to change my whole diet and that would be the focus of our consultation and first sessions. It wasn't that way at all. I learned so much in the first two sessions. About myself and the way I treat money and spending, friendships, and how I've forgotten how to enjoy and what I enjoy in life. We didn't talk about diet or eating habits at all (yet). I am looking forward to having more time with Brandi in the near future. The only thing I wish is that she had a rolling scale for her fees or lower packages. Even email only packages with limits. I love what Brandi has come up with and done for females (Girlfriends!) and many other folks/individuals (coaching). She is so inspiring and sweet, and radiates positivity. She is honest and raw, and I really wish the best of luck to her and her future endeavors. I got to know Brandi at my first Girlfriends! experience in October, which was held at The Black Cat Salon. I was able to meet and network with other businesswomen and make new acquaintances/friends. That event's activities included makeup, getting our hair washed and styled, and making face masks. There was also great vegan food that came from The Beet Box Cafe (which recently opened another location on the East Side/Kaneohe/Kailua) and many of the ladies got to learn about that, as well as some wonderful hair products from another empower leader, Erine. Unfortunately, she wasn't able to make it all the way to the island but we were able to connect virtually. My second and last Girlfriends! experience was the most recent and last Girlfriends! event that happened on the 17th of this month (Nov) at Eating House 1849. The event was called Gratitude. We were able to donate jeans that would be cut up to be soles for people in Uganda, and food for those in need. I got to reconnect with a Clairvoyant I had seen in the past, Mojo, and an ethical fashion and vegan/cruelty-free activist I had met in the previous Girlfriends! event, Leilani. We played a Laughing game and many other games that let us get loose and comfortable, and enjoy each other's presence. The food was delicious, we got the full course. At the end, we got to tell each other what we think we are with words and titles such as, "Mother, Creative, Empathetic," etc. as we revealed what we do for a living. Lastly, we got into a circle and said what we were grateful for and it was heartwarming and lifting. I loved helping Brandi bring all her belongings/decorations back to her vehicle with the help of other friends from the event, and I enjoyed both gift bags I've received from both events. The gift bangs include gift cards, brochures, Natural Awakenings magazine, Bai drinks, one had an essential oil, and the other had an amazing oatmeal bar soap (sustainable and zero waste!!). I am very thankful to have met Brandi and to have tried out Girlfriends! I definitely feel more at peace and happier, thanks to her, being able to meet her and many others. I recently moved back home to O'ahu after being away for over 20 years. I was basically starting my life over from scratch. I discovered Brandi's Girlfriend events and it changed my life! I met some amazing woman and from there I was introduced to a network of like-minded individuals that also share similar interests in animal volunteer work and mindful living. I had a great experience this weekend! Brandi had seen that I was interested on Facebook, and followed up with a direct message informing me about the FREE workshop for Bridging the Gap Between the Community and Schools: Empowering Educators to Empower Students. We watched a video, did a writing exercise that was helpful for identifying what exactly we were doing as educators and goals for the future, and then we met some members of the local community for networking. All of the presenters/guests were relevant and provided contact info for future networking and collaboration. I noticed a common theme as were going through the writing exercise. There was no one there for selfish agendas. We all had gathered on a Saturday morning, and on a holiday weekend at that, for the greater good (as educators, for our students and tomorrow's leaders). The outcome of the workshop and my own personal reflections were pretty epic! I realized there are so many people ready for change! This is a major movement and we are on the brink of a major revolution. Let's grow the movement! read more

Kiana is an amazing coach & human being. She coached me on how to share my story for the "Aha Awa & Storytellers" Event, and she is a powerful facilitator. She has a talent in encouraging others to realize their experiences and feelings in such a pure and loving way.
