I initially was going to do a long drawn out review blasting every detail of my experience with them. but I won't. I'll just leave it to bullet points. - spoke to someone on the phone 3 times about pricing and the length of time it'd take to complete the process. was quoted one thing over the phone but once I got there was told that there was no way I would've gotten a quote for what I wanted over the phone. the staff was there and could hear me talking but no one stepped up to admit they spoke to me. -the price I was charged was triple the qoute. - was told it'd be 7-10 days before glass would be done and it took 3 weeks. -when i called to check the progress due to the long waiting period was met with an attitude. One particular time was told "Sir weren't you told it'd take 5-7 days to complete". Which I replied. "No I was told 7-10 days and it's been 10 business days." Then I was abruptly put on hold. - after numerous delays (which was blamed on the place they outsourced the glass to.) They did nothing to compensate for the many rude conversations or longer period of time it took. They got their money paid in full. Most good companies would at least try to work with you. They did not. From the bad customer service to the horrible manner in which I was treated the one bright spot was the guy who works in there. I forget his name but he knew his stuff. Great job hiring him. All others get an F. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE. HORRIBLE WAY TO DO BUSINESS.

I learned that removing the old sink and countertop, plus disassembling plumbing costs extra and sometimes wasn't offered. A&S offered a huge selection of beautiful slabs with prices including installation. I made an appointment with Heidi to visit the store. She was incredibly helpful and great to work with. The style I wanted had the best price per square-foot compared to everywhere else I looked into. I also purchased a brand new sink for less than Lowe's and Home Depot. They offered removal for an additional charge but we took care of it ourselves. Installation was booked within a week. The installers were professional and did an excellent job. My new sink and countertop are flawless!

John was on time and with his assistants help they were able to replace the rollers on 2 large glass doors within an hour. They refurbished the track to save us some money. He was so helpful with advice & suggestions & saved us money by using our existing doors which were still in good shape. Now I don't know too many businesses that will be honest & say you don't need doors just the inserts are fine, he is definitely the exception to the rule. I selected Borter glass not only for its high rating on Google & Yelp, but due to its 44 years in business. It currently is owned by three family siblings, has just under 10 employees, & it has operated as a family-owned small company since 1976. WoW! Borter specializes in tub & shower enclosures-- frameless glass, frameless glass doors, rolling doors, as well as glass balconies & custom tabletops... & even glass stairs! This was the third to last of my remodeling projects, & I wanted a beautiful frameless glass enclosure. With all three frameless shower enclosure quotes similar in prospective price, I chose Borter because receptionist Carol was the most friendly & efficient. When she said she'd get info to me, she did so quickly -- & thoroughly. The other two companies' staffers paled in comparison. Weeks later, younger brother "Mr. B" (Craig) arrived to measure the area around my late arrival (shower base); I was surprised at the amount of care, precision, & time he took. (It was impressive.) The following day, I phoned Carol to hear the finalized quote & place a 50% deposit. Three weeks later the frameless glass shower enclosure & chrome ladder handle (which came w/ an added fee) were installed. I love the frameless glass-- totally satisfied! And I am thrilled that these people had the integrity to charge me LESS than the quote they had originally supplied. Good old time service & honesty! Why 4.5 stars & not 5 for this professional company? The hours are standard-- Monday thru Friday from 8 AM - 5 PM. Offering a weekly late night & a Saturday would be appreciated so lost time from employment could be avoided.
