The storm left our roof, gutters, and vinyl siding all in need of full replacement. We tackled the roof first, and Ryan Anderson made that process as simple as any roof repair we've ever dealt with. The second phase -- replacing the vinyl siding and gutters -- proved more challenging. Our insurance company initially pushed for a partial replacement, despite the fact that matching vinyl was unavailable given the siding's age. David Burnette went to bat for us and successfully negotiated a full wrap reimbursement. That opened the door for us to upgrade to James Hardie plank siding, and it's a decision we couldn't be more pleased with. But that required a lot more decisions what to with the existing shutters, garage wrap, outlets, spigots, cable boxes, house numbers, and more. David couldn't have been more detailed oriented and patient over the course of what took almost one year. James Hardie installation demands a higher level of craftsmanship, and the crew delivered. Over the course of the roughly 10-day project, Tim Johnson was on-site every single day to stay ahead of any issues and ensure nothing was overlooked. Throughout both phases, all three Brandon J representatives were consistently responsive -- whether by text or email -- and a genuine pleasure to work with. We had a hail storm last year in west county - there were about 25 different people knocking our door trying to get on our roof. We put a sign that said please don't knock. So many other companies knocked despite the sign. We saw the rep we worked with - Ben - working with our neighbors so we swung by and talked to him. He had been knocking the neighborhood, but didn't knock our door. That was the first thing that won us over. The second was his knowledge of how the process would work. He gave us a straight answer - he wasn't sure if the insurance would approve it, but if they didn't, he would fight for us. He was right. After a reinspection, insurance ended up buying the roof. Quality wise, I used to think there's not much of a difference between roofing companies - I was wrong. The issues that my neighbors had with other companies were not issues with us (I was thankful for that.) Brandon J Roofing did a great job and showed me photos of the roof when they finished. I had a horrible experience with this company. They started the roof replacement and didn't finish it by the end of the day. Left the job with tools and supplies still on our roof. Stuff all over our yard including nails. Thought they would come back the next day and finish. They didn't come back for 5 days to clean it up or finish the job. They only came back after we called their office 20+ times asking someone to get out and finish the work. Couldn't get ahold of the project manager at all. Wouldn't use this company again! Very impressed with Brandon J roofing! Brady did a through inspection my roof and siding. he explained everything in detail and provided photos for proof of the damage. I signed the contract on Thursday and was notified the next day my roof was to be installed the following week! Once the roof was installed on Thursday, I received notification via text that my new gutters were going to be installed weather pending. This person needs to learn to drive. They merged into my lane (with no turn signal) then cut me off on my way to work and could have killed me and everyone around me if I wouldn't have slammed on my brakes at the last second when they were parallel to me and half way in my lane. Based on this reckless behavior and unprofessionalism alone, I will never use this company or recommend it to friends/family. And seeing the horrible reviews validated my decision. I was very happy with the quality of work they did and they have the best warranty. We needed a roof, but we didn't have enough damage to get insurance to pay. We got a few bids, Ben came out and gave us one. We liked how he showed us everything and explained all of it. He showed us a slideshow, too. You can tell he cares about the people he works with.
