While I was waiting for my turn to pass to try on clothes the girl in charge of the fitting rooms seemed to be beyond burden by my presence , eating a burrito and talking to her friend about her plans for the night ( for real ) literally my boyfriend thought she was another customer in the store . Overall the worst experience I have ever had in a brandy Melville in the Bay Area (as I can see by other reviews not only for me) and I hope the managers or person in charge take into consideration this comments for their next hiring of the staff. read more

I went here right before closing time some time in December of this year.(I can't remember the date lol) But I was rushing there because of traffic, I felt kind of embarrassed because I walked in 10 minutes before they closed. But it was so quiet it was maybe one other customer in there, then the other workers closing up shop. They're all over the world and you can watch the documentary about it and fast fashion. There isn't actually a "Brandy". This store has young women working who need something to do and don't want to actually work. They ask to check your bag even if it's filled with library books. One star barely. The store representatives to be not only rude but disrespectful. While we were there, they were talking to each other ONLY and never asked if we needed help. It was almost as if we were burdening them from their social hour. They all were talking about friend groups and about the parties they plan to go to and at one point one of the girls said how much she dreads retirement. "I have 40 more years of this bullshit" she reported. To be clear, I am a 55 yer old woman and was standing right there. I work hard and I proudly role model that for my daughter. My daughter heard it too and was upset. This kind of privileged narrative is awful and does not represent Brandy Melville well (unless of course this is how you want to be represented). This Brandy Melville is a lot better than the one on Santana Row in San Jose. That one is so crowded and they take a long time to ring you up. We went on a Sunday before lunch and there were people but hardly crowded. I am way above the age range for their target audience but I love their white tank tops. I bought two of them as basics. We were in and out in about 10 minutes! Last time at my local Brandy Melville store, I was there for over 45 minutes just to wait to pay. I wish I lived a little closer to this one! read more

People complain about the service, but they're known to not be super friendly. Having said that, this BM is friendlier than many others! Cost is mid-range. I rarely write reviews but this one felt necessary. I just walked in on a Thursday at 2pm to multiple of the brandy workers just talking, including many cuss words (f word and b word) multiple times. A dad in there and I kept making eye contact and both eventually left. The girls were talking about med school, grades, and being insanely unprofessional. This is your typical BM. Staff is pleasant and helpful. Easy to find, lots of street parking. This is actually a nice walk from Fisherman's Wharf with lots of other cool shops, restaurants and a bookstore. Girl with the bob and eyelash extensions was being extremely rude to us. They closed an hour early, and had many people on staff still there. We were there on a weekday. It was super busy. The store space it's full with clothes everywhere which is nice but at the same time it's not enough space to walk through it. It is very crowded with clothes everywhere and people trying to squeeze in and out. Employees seem to be overwhelmed. I believe we came in when they were getting their deliveries. The girls were working hard with the little space they have. The same day I received an email saying my order has been cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances. They have six dressing rooms but only had one opened, the girls were loudly complaining about the amount of go backs and that they didn't want people to try anything on anymore and that then closing down all the dressing rooms but one should have been a sign for us to not try anything on.
