Same great care and pleasant staff from the time I walked in to the time I left. First, let me start off by saying I appreciate the multiple reminders about your appointment. I love the text message option! I'm super busy so this is just convenient for me. Second, my appointment was for 9am and I was called back within 10 min of that time. Next, I'm greeted by amazing dental hygienist name Nicola who was very knowledgeable and explained everything in great detail to me. So I've had the luxury of meeting both dentists. Their polite demeanor and explanations of what I needed was like music to my ears. Most dentists, "tell" what you need to do. They explained my options, told me what could wait and what was urgent. And provided me with pros and cons of my decisions. All I can say is that I'm grateful to finally be somewhere that I feel comfortable visiting every 6 months.

My initial consult on 1/19 itself left me unsure about them. My dental insurance is through delta given via the Atrium Health hospital system. They NEVER give us an insurance card for this. Even when i worked there. I don't know how many times I had to repeat this fact to the lady at the front desk. That alone was getting me to the point where I was close to saying F this and just leaving and asking my dentist to refer me somewhere else. She was talking to me like I was a child, because I didn't know specific information THAT I DID NOT HAVE SINCE DELTA DID NOT GIVE US AN INSURANCE CARD. But now the big kicker is a bill that I've received THREE MONTHS AFTER MY EXTRACTION, saying that we owe almost $3000 out of freaking no where. We were told that we only owed $600 and some change after insurance, so that's what we payed. and now all of a sudden we're getting a bill (which says late, but how is it a late bill if WE WERE NEVER INFORMED ABOUT IT) that says we owe almost $3000. I'll be calling in the AM to learn more, but this has tanked any good feelings I had about this business. They would never get any sort of recommendation from me to anyone I know.

The dental hygienists are friendly and do a great job with cleaning - my teeth and gums always feel fresh and smooth when I leave. They gave me an appointment right away (a few other offices I called nearby were not as accommodating). Dr. Kevin re-did the filling on the very back tooth and closed the food trap between the teeth, which resolved the issue and now I don't get food stuck there anymore! He and the dental assistant (I'm sorry, I forgot her name but she was great), were very friendly and did a great job!! Dr. Kevin was very thorough and took his time to make sure he filed the filling down until I felt comfortable with the bite. They have always been transparent in the work being done and provided estimates prior to scheduling the work. Dr. Bray and everyone in the office has always been extremely cordial and professional while we have been there. The office staff was really friendly and check-in was quick. After a couple of x-rays, the hygienist started doing the cleaning and she was incredibly gentle. I have had cleanings at other practices where my mouth ached for days afterwards, but not at this practice. My dentist did a quick exam and explained everything to me. It was a really great experience and I'm glad I chose here to get my dental work done. My next appointment will be to fill a cavity, so my next experience here probably be so bubbly, but I think I have a good team to get me through it.
