My wife and I bought a home with a bath that had two sizeable rust spots, and never really thought anything about it (we always used the other bathroom) until a local realtor said it was of concern. A couple of individuals recommended Brandywine Resurfacing by name, and even though the current COVID19 situation is cause for concern, we managed to get a visit scheduled. WOW! Most businesses put photos of their best work, not their everyday cases, on their website. As a result, you may experience that quality of work, you may not. The photos on Brandywine Resurfacing's web site looked amazing, and we would have hired Joe on that basis alone, but when we saw the end results of his work - well, they actually exceeded the pictures online. Now we have a bathroom to be proud of, and at a fraction of the price (and of far better quality, I wouldn't doubt) than a larger company (who will remain nameless, but whose name rhymes with Darth Hitters) had quoted us. Just through talking to Joe, I can see that he is "old school" and really takes pride in his work to the extreme, and his customers benefit. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone who asked. I can't say that I know of anyone else who does the same work, but with these results, I have no reason to look elsewhere. I don't usually write effusive reviews, but then I'm not normally blown away by the standard of work done to this extent. We had Joe refinish the bathtub in one of our bathrooms a few years ago and would have him come back in a minute. He work still looks great. When he left it was like a whole a brand new bathtub. There is only one tiny place where there had been a chip missing when he did the refinishing and he is coming back to fix it. He had warned me that might be the case. He is honest about what he will be able to achieve. Everything the other reviewer wrote about his meticulous work is absolutely true. He really takes the time to explain everything he will be doing so there are no surprises. He is always really busy so it might take a while to hear back from him. read more

Horrible service. I had to have them back for repairs (bubbling and chipped glazing on our tile) about every six months during the warranty period. They were so rude and acted like we were the problem-- making statements like "I lose money every time I come back here". After the fifth year of having to come back and fix their awful job Joe actually said, "I think we sprayed on faulty product". Great. I'm on Yelp looking for another company to redo the mess in my bathrooms from this company. Can't believe they're showing up in a top spot. read more

The tech that came to my parent's home was dismissive & disrespectful toward my father and me as we talked to him & asked questions. The tech was there to repair a small crack in a bathtub liner that his company had installed a few years earlier. He asked if there was any water seepage or damage in the basement below. When my father said he wasn't sure, the tech never made an effort to see for himself to determine what work may have needed to be done. He didn't listen to any input I had and became dismissive of what I said. When I suggested to my father the idea of getting another opinion/quote, the tech decided nothing needed to be done and said the crack could be left alone. When my father walked the tech out to his car, the tech said that he was never coming back to my parent's home because of his "long drive" that resulted in no work. read more

The owner of this company (Joe) is the most unprofessional person we have ever dealt with. Upon entering our home he was completely rude and abrasive to us and even other guys we had working at the house at the time. He even rudely told us to remove our dogs from around him as we were showing him the work to done. We told him his scope of work slightly changed and he got very bent out of shape packed his stuff and left the job without even telling us. Completely unprofessional!!! This owner thinks he is the only person on plant earth that can reglaze bathtubs. I would never recommend doing business with this company. read more

Contracted with Brandywine Resurfacing to reglaze the tub in our main bath. The tub was about 40 yrs old and had one big chip in the center bottom. Set up a date/time for them to come and do the work. They called the previous day to remind me that they would be coming the next morning. They showed up on time and got right to work prepping the workspace. Couple hours later the owner (Joe) arrived to start the painting. He completed everything that afternoon taking special care to cover everything so there would be no paint overspray. He returned the next day to complete the caulking after the paint had dried. I can honestly say the tub looks brand new and the color matches our surround and toilet exactly. He also explained the process as well as cleaning procedures (what to use, what not to use). In our case this was definitely a home run, $400 compared to $2,000 for a new tub as well as possible damage from removing the old tub and inserting a new one. The owner is definitely an ethical person and I will recommend him to anyone that''s interested in tub/tile re-glazing. read more

I had Brandywine Resurfacing refinish my 70 year old tub November 2012. Three years later (comes with a 5-year warranty) with care according to their simple instructions, the tub looks great and I am fully satisfied. When they did the refinishing Joe, the owner, took great care protecting my house, and bathroom from over-spray from the acrylic refinishing material (in any color you choose). The results were stunning and saved me thousands over the cost of tub replacement. Additionally, I needed some minor plumbing and an affiliate company owned by Joe's Brother-In-Law, Dan, repaired the plumbing at a very reasonable rate. Brandywine Resurfacing is a great alternative to replacing a tub which can cost from $3000 up for a new tub. My tub has endured three years of my family using it, still shines like the day Joe refinished it and with a bathroom remodeling project planned, instead of costly tile replacement I am leaning towards Joe resurfacing my tile with a new color .... with the money I will save having Joe do the tile color change I can look at higher upgrades for the fixtures and floor. All in all Brandywine Resurfacing is a winner for my home. You should consider this for your home, you will not be disappointed. read more
