    We had the worst customer service by Dalton Rowe today. We experienced an issue with our rental and…read morerequested contact information for the store manager so we could discuss this matter further, and Mr. Rowe identified himself as the assistant manager and provided his own business card instead. When we stated that we would pursue the matter with higher level management, Mr. Rowe became confrontational and immediately informed us that he was canceling our vehicle reservation and refused to rent us a car. Based on the timing and circumstances, it appeared that our reservation was canceled in retaliation for our request to speak with management. I have been an enterprise customer and expect professional, respectful service. This interaction fell far short of those expectations. I was also concerned that Mr. Rowe represented himself as an assistant manager, while his business card identifies him as a rental management trainee. Regardless of his title, his conduct during this interaction was inappropriate and, in my opinion, does not reflect Enterprise's customer service standards. UPDATE: A formal complaint has been filed with corporate to discuss with a regional manager. Hopefully Mr. Rowe can receive some much-needed employee training on active listening, and conflict resolution before he becomes a part of the management team. But before then, BUYER BEWARE.

The location is absolutely at the airport…read more It's the general aviation airport in town, not the commercial airport in Springfield which is about 45 minutes away. Conveniently located to Branson. I drove my motorhome up and needed a car for a few days. This Avis was convenient, employees were friendly and professional, and the car was great. As for the person complaining about a deposit, you've obviously never rented a car before or anything for that matter. In life, when you're renting someone else's stuff, expect to pay a deposit.

I signed in online for early check in with payment and my drivers license. When I got there he asked to see both so I pulled them out and handed them to him. He said I haven't charged you anything yet but I want to let you know we're in a charge of $250 as a deposit. Let me get this straight you wanot to hold $250 for four days and make interest on my money without letting me know ahead of time. He said it was on the contract. I pulled the contract. It was nowhere on the contract. I said I paid online but actually I just entered the information online. They did not pull the payment yet. But they said the payment was. $139 it would only go up if I change the reservation. So I said no thank you I will try someplace else I turned around to walk out. I was placing my cards back in my wallet and he says to my back. Good luck with that. Very sarcastically like that wasn't gonna happen. Not thank you, sorry for the misunderstanding, good bye, or just say nothing. I turned around, said a very not a nice remark and then said you just couldn't help yourself could you as I walk back to the counter? Then he said you're living up to your name Karen. No I invented Karen. The others are just a knock off. I don't know what he has going on in his life, but I know what I have going on in my life And it's a lot and I sure don't need him poking at me like I couldn't afford to rent a car. I just didn't want to rent that car and be held hostage for $250. I have NEVER put a deposit on a car. We traded a few choice words, and he told me to get out of his building. I said not until I call Avis and report you, so as I'm calling Avis, he calls his manager who he is telling his side of story and I look at him and asked you are seriously saying that is the story. And she immediately took his side and told him to call the police, I said it's OK with me. I'm calling Avis either way. So to make a long story short, these people are going to charge you $250 without telling you upfront so let that be known. No credit check was ran on me. No credit card was asked from me. The horrible attitude, sarcastic behavior, disrespect, the threatening attitude I saw that they displayed was worrisome. I would look to another car rental before going to Hollister, Mo. Airport location. Personnel all the way to management was poor. "The gentleman in the garage apologized. He was a good employee he defused the situation and I felt better about leaving." He should be running the place.

Over half the auto repair spots were closed, a few didn't answer, and a few others didn't have the proper service tech available. Yelp indicated Harding's was open, but that was not accurate. Regardless, Mr. Harding (?) answered when I called and talked me through the most probable causes and how to fix. Above and beyond. If I were local, he'd get my business any day.

I was low on cash and really wanted to get to see my family in Texas. They happened to be close to where my van broke down. I didn't choose them, my van did. They quoted me a price for parts and labor. The price seemed reasonable, so I signed off on it. The next day, I had a friend of mine take me by there to get some things out of my van. To my surprise, they were closed and had a sign saying that they were in Joplin for the day. This annoyed me, because I wanted my van back as soon as possible. The day after that, I learned that they had found the parts I needed for $200 less, so they drove to Joplin to get them and charged me $200 less than the price I had signed off on. Since then I have had them work on two different vehicles and the service is always wonderful friendly and affordable. I now live in Texas. Not long ago I drove back to Branson to have them work on my car, because I knew I could trust them to do great work and not charge me more than was fair.
