The pancakes were amazing and the two ladies working were beyond sweet and caring. This place is one of my new favorites. Check it out!

Visited Brasas on a Sunday afternoon around 1pm. It wasn't too busy with only two other parties in the restaurant; however, the service was extremely slow. It took about 40 minutes after ordering for us to get our food. When the food arrived, it was cold. I ordered the breakfast tacos, which was served on extremely dried out, chalky tortillas. Interestingly the menu had all of the prices whited out, so we did not know the price of the items until we received the check. The pricing is decent, but the food quality and service were very disappointing. Definitely will not be returning.

Met up with a friend for brunch and had the best pancakes I've ever eaten! Will definitely be returning!

Primera vez aquí y me encantó la comida. Buen servicio y muy atentos a todo. Les recomiendo este lugar a todos. Y voy a seguir regresando.

An absolute hidden gem that we stumbled onto via Yelp, after sitting, soaking wet, (another story) in traffic from Chicago back to our hotel in Naperville. It's a small neighborhood place, sandwiched in with other businesses (maybe some residences). Without knowing it was there, or using navigation you might drive right by. Missing it if you are in the area would be your loss. It was about 1330 on a rainy Thursday and we were the only customers. Our server was really pleasant and our food came, fresh, hot and pretty quick. Perhaps they do an earlier lunch rush or are truly a breakfast place. I found it to be a cozy (it was nice and warm inside and we needed it), a bit romantic with the wood and rich latin color scheme. My wife got a Monte Cristo sandwich, with fries. I got a burger with guacamole and bacon. Every bite was just plain wonderful. The fries were hot and cooked perfectly, the sandwiches were well crafted. My guacamole was clearly hand made and they were generous with it. If we are ever in the area again, we are definitely coming back. From other reviews and search result I see that there is another Brasos a few doors down...I understand a need to differentiate the two businesses (even if same owners?) but "pancake house" for me, and just for me, isn't quite right for a place this sexy. When I hear pancake house I think fluorescent lights, cooks with regrets and parole appointments, servers held back by bad choices in men. I am not saying pancake houses are bad places, they are just a niche, that this solid little cafe, is not.

Meat lovers omlette. Bacon, sausage, steak, ham. Maybe more.

Went around 1pm on a Saturday, wasn't crowded at all. We ordered stuffed French toast, meat lovers omlette, and the Florentine Benedict for me. It came with bacon. I would have preferred egg whites for my cholesterol but I guess that's not an option. In fact I would have paid extra for scrambled egg whites. Don't get me wrong I love runny yolks on my eggs Benedict but my doctor says I maybe love them too much. They were in fact perfectly made. The meat lovers omlette was amazing. My wife got the stuffed French toast, I didn't taste them but they looked great too. For the quality of food and not having to wait I'd say it's a great spot for breakfast food. We had no issues with service at all.

It was around 11am on a random Sunday and about half full, which made for a nice, relaxed atmosphere. Right away, the service stood out. Our waitress was super attentive, friendly, and made sure we were taken care of the entire time. For drinks, I ordered a regular coffee and my significant other got the "Vitamin C" smoothie. The coffee comes in a surprisingly large mug and is refillable, which is a nice bonus. Because of that, I skipped the café de olla, but honestly I'd recommend trying it if you're not planning on refills. The smoothie was great--smooth, refreshing, and only mildly sweet. For food, we ordered the green chilaquiles, chicken enchiladas with red sauce, and the churro pancakes. The food did take about 30-45 minutes to come out, but everything arrived fresh. The chilaquiles were served with black beans, cilantro lime rice, and two eggs, topped with onions, sour cream, and cheese. The beans had a slight grilled flavor but were a bit mild overall. The rice, on the other hand, was light, fluffy, and perfectly seasoned with cilantro--definitely a highlight. The chilaquiles themselves were flavorful with just a slight kick from the salsa; I just wish they had a bit more onion for extra texture. The chicken enchiladas were excellent. Honestly the standout savory dish. Everything about them was well-balanced and cooked perfectly. Now the real star, the churro pancakes. These were amazing. You get a stack of four pancakes topped with a pecan sauce and served with two churros on the side. The pancakes are definitely on the sweeter side, but in the best way possible. The churros themselves were fantastic, honestly better than Xurro Factory in my opinion. Overall, this place really impressed me. The vibe is immaculate, blending Hispanic culture with a modern twist, and the food and service back it up. Definitely a spot I'd come back to and would be a great spot to take family, friends, and even a date.
