I try to support local, small businesses. I have purchased many flowers from this shop over the years. Most were online with delivery. Thankfully any of the times I was in the shop I had minimal interactions with the owner. I recently called the shop and spoke with Heidi to order an arrangement for my brother in-law's burial. I explained that this was especially difficult as he was killed in an accident. We decided on an arrangement, a price and a day/time that I would pick them up. When I arrived for pick-up the flowers were more expensive than the price we discussed. No explanation was given and when I asked about it she said it was because she used more roses. I think that any consumer would agree that a business should never change an invoice without notifying the customer. It doesn't matter if it is for $15 or $500. There was a price and it was agreed upon. If she wanted to change things, she needed to check with me first Her response was unprofessional and unkind. "You am never happy" and went off about the flowers, etc. I did complain ONCE about a delivery that was VERY small and skimpy compared to the photo and the price. What she said was untrue and uncalled for. When I told her that I could not have this conversation with her on this specific day as I was going to a funeral (which she knew) and to please just run my credit card, she did not stop. I had to ask her again to please stop talking and to just run my credit card. The icing on the cake was that my credit card was charged TWICE for this arrangement, which was several hundred dollars. That was an ordeal itself to get it corrected. I will NEVER purchase flowers from this business again. I hope whatever satisfaction she got from being so unkind to me on such a difficult day was worth it.
