Even though it was short notice Deb was very nice and said they would take care of this. I was calling from South Florida and had to trust her. Glad I did. We were sent flowers by a friend and the arrangement CFD sent us was horrible, it was full of cheap mismatched flowers that died two days later. They did enclose a card but it did not indicate who sent us the flowers. We contacted CFD to ask who they were from so we could thank the sender and they said they did not know because they were ordered online and their system didn't show who sent them?. But the system took their money with no problem. Are you kidding me? Shouldn't there be a required prompt to ask the person sending them to fill out? I would never use this florist! It's terrible when someone sends flowers through a network like FTD and they just put a bunch of crappy leftover flowers together. Shame on you! read more

I sent flowers to a colleague who had a difficult move and is starting a new job today. I made the order online through Cody's website and noted that I would like the flowers delivered on Sept 1 AM before my colleague left for work. Soon after I made the order, I received a call from Cody's to say that as they opened at 10 AM, it would be difficult for them to deliver first thing, but that they would deliver it on Aug 31 by the end of the day. They also noted that my note mentioned cats. They told me the arrangement I had selected had flowers that are toxic to cats and said that they would switch them out for safe ones. The gorgeous bouquet of roses and hydrangeas arranged tastefully in a beautiful vase was delivered to my colleague as promised by the end of the day. Every flower was fresh and non-toxic to cats, a point my colleague mentioned to me. Great customer service paired with a fantastic product. If I need to place another order, I'll go to Cody's! After attempting to order flowers online from a link on funeral home web page, I was not happy with the high delivery charge. I called the funeral home and they recommended I call Cody Floral Designs, which I did. I intended to give them the info. I had completed online (I had yet to click "send"). I gave the woman on the phone the message I had written online. She began to complain it was "too long". I then suggested she write to "The family of..." on the outside of the envelope. I thought that would shorten it. There was a character limit online which I had adhered to. She then began to complain again about too many words and how small the writing would be on the card. I had carefully thought out my message and wanted to use it. She was so exasperated (and so was I!). I told her I would order online and pay the $17,99 in order to get the words I wanted to say on a message card. She said fine and hung up promptly. TERRIBLE customer service!
