Super happy with this practice and such an amazing staff! From the moment you step in you feel the comfort and the dedication of being on the right office. You just know that they are there because the kids and your child IS IMPORTANT! Sadly we will miss it because we are moving but always will remember the warm welcome and the heartfelt goodbye. Came to the practice 4 days after I had my child first 2 visits were fine then at 3 months my child started with reflux called then twice about to trying to get answers to why and was met " baby sit up it's normal" when in fact the amount he was spitting up was not then by the third call and I insisted on an appointment the day of I called about the appointment it wasn't even scheduled when the day before I was told he had one booked and at the visit instead of finding a root cause of the issue I was met with take this medication bye. I came back with concerns of a lip tie and I was again dismissed We just got back from his 6 month well visit and I left angry and felt uncomfortable my child is exclusively breast fed when asked about sleeping my child does wake up 2 to 3 times a night with no issues I was told that I had to stop nursing to sleep, my child needed to be sleeping through the night and out in a different room of their own not in mine and had to be sleep trained. When I told her I was uncomfortable with this I was told my child would be fine the conversation was not really a conversation it was me being told what I HAD to do with my child which our family is on a less traditional route parenting wise but it was very uncomfortable I have postpartum depression and anxiety I don't feel supported by the office as a new mother should be . The NP we met with the first two times was very kind and helpful also asked questions regarding my mental health as a new mother after the second appointment everything went down hill if you are on a more traditional path with your child it would be a fine office I guess we will be looking for an office that is more supportive of my concerns and respects my wishes as a parent. read more

The office cancelled all my future appointments and refused to see me again because I couldn't stand being treated poorly by the front desk staff. Manager of the office is rude and not educated about customer service . read more

I'd give it 1 star but I'll be nice. When we first went to Braselton Pediatrics I requested to see a Dr. Not a PA. I was given a PA anyway on my 1st visit, But we needed to be seen ASAP.. Since then the 4 times we have been there I've seen 3 different PA's. The last one today May 7th 2019. When the new PA walked in we both said hi. I started to explain the yellow info sheet that I had filled out and explain why we were there. She had no idea what I was talking about. She just kept nodding her head in a circle. She was not interested in why we were there. I asked where the other PA. MARLO was that we seen, The current PA just rolled her eyes. I asked what the problem was. She said nothing, that PA left just like I am next week. OMG really.... Ok. Well can you be a little bit interested in why my child is in your office. You are a Physician's Assistant. I was so taken back and annoyed that we left. I asked for the number of someone higher in charge. I'm told, just call our regular number we'll answer. Really. I asked for higher. So I asked for an email and Im given an email to the billing department. So... Now we are no longer going to Braselton Pediatrics. I would never recommend them. As for they go through Physicians assistants left n right. Besides hiring ones that could give a crap less. Can anyone guess what PA stands for?. I'm guessing physicians Ass. I am so annoyed it's not even funny. But one a good note...I already found a new pediatric Dr. And we go Friday. Lets see how long Braselton Pediatrics takes to transfer our records. read more

Braselton pediatrics is the worst place to take your children. Please parents do not take your children to this place. They do not care about your children. The front office is horrible. Karen Dowell who says she is the highest person in this business and stated there is no one above her position she is the RUDEST, UNPROFESSIONAL, and VERY DEFENSIVE TO questions and concerns that the patient parents may have. I feel sorry for the Doctor because these people who she has so call authority over them are running away their committed patients. This is no way to treat the people who pays your salary. Karen Dowell over talks the concerning parents. And does not listen to the concern for the patients. Please if you have a child that goes there please take them out of Braselton Pediatrics. If the the highest person in charge is rude and UNPROFESSIONAL and Dont care about our children just imagine having our kids in this kind of care and environment. read more

Wife randomly found this place after moving here. Took him a few times and nothing too bad. This visit she asked the practitioner, Luanne Marlow RN (Not DR) to have him checked for a specific thyroid disease. Wife has a thyroid disease that is hereditary and had been advised by her doctor to have our son checked. The practitioner told my wife that they would only check him if they saw signs of the disease and also said it was rare to get it at that age and she refused to give a simple blood test. It's not rare for that age when it hereditary. Once signs show, it means it has set in. Maybe we could catch it early. Who knows. I work. Have great insurance and would have even paid out of pocket and this lady has the audacity to tell me no to taking a very simple test at the parents request. Not happening. If you want to be in control of your child's healthcare.....don't go here. read more

Dr. Borieux is wonderful!!! However, she and one nurse there are the ONLY positives to Braselton Pediatrics. The receptionist is not friendly at all, she is matter a fact and has no personality. You would hope in a peds practice, staff would be bubbly and interact with kids and families. The office itself is not in great shape. It is dirty and the exam tables are in rough shape. The little amount of toys and books are in rough shape also. Wait times are often long and it can be weeks to get an appointment. Most recently, I took my son in for a 3pm sick appointment. We were seen at 4pm. I was told that antibiotics would be called to my pharmacy within an hour. As of 1 hour and 50 minutes later, the prescription had not been called in. My pharmacy is now closed and I am waiting on someone to call me back from the office's answering service to hopefully have the prescription sent to another pharmacy. In the meantime, I have a 1 year old with double ear infections! Needless to say, I will not be returning to this office! Save yourself time and stress and find a different pediatric office. read more

I would have to be abusive and downright indignant to really let you know how much of a horror show this office is. I am not sure exactly what is going on but something or someone needs help. I hope the doctor, staff or everyone involved get the therapy or medical attention you need to start functioning again as a doctor of children, no, a doctor period. I mean this sincerely, get some help because these review have got to mean something. Your business is suffering and its the not that reviewer want to leave bad reviews. I mean, parents don't usually pick a doctor for their precious ones because they think ill of the doctor. I wanted to feel good about this last visit, but I can't. I did try! read more

Horrible. Called to make a well visit for my child before his dental procedure, it's required to have a well visit 2 weeks before his procedure. I called almost 2 months in advance and they told me to find another physician because they don't have any openings! That is just unacceptable!!! I didn't request a physical for the next day! Recently switched to Dr Borieux on the referral from a friend. While wait times can be a little iffy office staff is friendly and the Dr is very through and takes her time and explains everything and happy to answer questions you may have. My 12 yr old daughter had Mono a few months ago and she was sent to the hospital to have labs drawn and several recheck app to check her progress. I was impressed with the proactive approach as my previous DR didn't even want to see my daughter after testing positive for Mono at a urgent care facility and blew it off as she will be ok. I haven't had a problem with wait times however I have a lot of other problems with this office. I had moved here pregnant and chose a random office that was close and the hospital said was good. However, my newborn son had some jaundice and they sent him for testing, which is necessary and helpful. However he is now 2 months and shows no signs of jaundice and they want me to still go get him tested. By 2 months this is not something doctors look for anymore unless the baby is extremely yellow and levels haven't been doing down. I find it ridiculous they want him to keep going through testing he's been through over 10 times now to just tell me to "keep breastfeeding as normal". The other problem I have is with the nurse who administered his shots at his two month appointment. They stuck the needle in way to deep and he bled through two of the bandaids they stuck on. Then I changed the bandaid at home (so about 15 minutes after the shots) and he bled through one of them also. No reason to stick a newborn with a needle that deep or hard! read more
