Everyone was nice and professional EXCEPT the PA. She was dismissive and arrogant. I went for treatment after spending 3 days in bed with a fever; chills; barely able to talk or swallow; practically had to crawl to the bathroom. The PA attempted to diagnose me with a "cold" Also reluctant to give me a work excuse. Had I been more aggressive, I prob would have gotten better treatment, but why does it have to be that way?? read more

I came in on a Monday and needed a physical assessment for school. It's on their website that they do them, I brought my paperwork at arrived at 7:15. It was not busy and I was brought right back for my TB. The provider refused to do my physical. He told the staff to tell me to go to my PCP. I needed this faster than PCP could see me, I was willing to pay for it, it's within his scope and there was zero reason not to do it. The very next day I went to a different branch (same urgent care) and had zero problems getting it completed. It took her 10minutes tops. The Monday night incident was ridiculous. Then I went back to get my TB read on Wednesday, I asked the staff the name of the provider who worked Monday night and the girl working the desk and med tech refused to tell me his name. It shouldn't be a "secret" who the provider is. read more

I have been to this urgent care twice now the first time was because I had an injured ankle and I found out it was sprained at this facility! I decided to come back because I like the care that was given . I felt like I was heard I was listened to, and everything was fine. I come back today on June 2 because I'm having issues with my wrist. I sit in the lobby, even though I reserved a spot for 9:27. I sat in the lobby for 45 minutes no one was even in the waiting room with me. This left me a bit confused on why I was waiting for that long. A lady comes out from the back and says we're cleaning rooms now, we will be with you in a moment. I Thought that was weird. I get to the back finally after waiting a good 30 to 45 minutes and the PA Keith Grabowski was very nonchalant. He almost came off as rude or like he just didn't care He was very shorthanded and has horrible bedside manner. They took an x-ray and when Keith cones back into the room. it was as if he was rushing, telling me what I needed to do like icing it elevating it. I had to stop him and ask him what did I have because he never told me what it was that they found. he then proceeded to tell me it's a sprained wrist and that I need to see an orthopedic. I then proceed to ask him about pain management because I told him already ibuprofen isn't working. He then suggests ibuprofen again!! as if he's just not listening hearing what I'm saying. I am overweight and I feel like that's what he was focusing on even in a moment like this, he proceeds to ask me and I quote "well do I have diabetes?" Which is crazy because I've never had diabetes. It's not in my chart. It just felt inappropriate. Now that I've had time to think about this whole situation Keith has a bias. Many doctors do and this is how they treat most overweight people. It's not New. It's just sad that this keeps happening. This whole experience was awful and I hate I came and I won't be back. If I could give zero stars, I would the one star is truly coming from the guy that sits at the front desk he's truly a saving grace. He was very kind. They need to put him in the back. He could teach all of them bedside manners. read more

I went in due to a sinus infection alongside strep throat. I was previously seen earlier in the day and given antibiotics. I decided to go back to be seen here since I was still uncomfortable due to pain and coughing. The physician was polite, listened to me and my concerns, and created a plan that worked for both of us. I am already feeling better thanks to the young provider at this location. There was a small wait, but it is virus season. Expect a small wait. read more

Going to urgent care is never a pleasant experience, however, my service today at Health Choice Urgent Care made things as smooth as possible. I found this location through my insurance and was happy to see I could hold my spot in line by selecting an appointment time for the day. As this is a very busy time of year, I highly recommend. I was able to make an appointment for the same day, within 3 hours and showed up about 15 minutes prior to my appointment time. I received a text and was able to complete my registration before arriving to the clinic which was convenient. Once arriving, you just check in to let them know you've arrived and you can see your spot in line with expected wait time on the tv in the lobby. I was taken back roughly 20 minutes after my scheduled time - not bad! I was given the appropriate testing and then taken to an exam room. They already had my results and informed me which was nice, just had to wait for the provider for additional detail. I did end up waiting in the exam room for about an hour, however, NP Bastecki was so pleasant, kind and thorough it made up for the wait - plus she acknowledged the wait on her own and thanked me for my patience. That's good customer service! She didn't rush through the visit, explained all the necessary details and when she came into the room she already had a work note, additional info on my diagnosis and my prescriptions sent over to the pharmacy. This is an excellent urgent care and I am very pleased with the service o had today! Will return again when needed. read more

Sick kiddo and not many places take our insurance, so I stopped into ChoiceOne this morning with her and have to give them points for: accepting our insurance (yay), a spa-like waiting room with coffee, and most importantly, an amazingly friendly staff. Everybody was so warm and kind to my 3 year old and I, making our visit tear-free, efficient, prompt, and as pleasant as a trip to a doctor's office can be. I would gladly recommend them to anybody needing walk-in service. read more

I felt the need to review ChoiceOne again! Even a year later, I have zero issues giving them 5 stars!! I've visited 3-4 times in the last year & every single time, they have given me the utmost respect, kindness & caring attitudes. I always reserve an appointment time online and have been seen in a timely manner every single time- even when they are at full capacity. I came in on Monday 4/29 and the front office staff was beyond great. Smiling faces, warm presence & they worked with such a sense of urgency. Dee (I think that was her name) came to the exam room & checked in on me twice while I was waiting to be seen- asked if I needed anything to drink, if I was too hot or too cold. Honestly, it's the little things that make such a difference, to be treated as if you're the only patient in the building (even though I wasn't) shows the kind of customer service they strive to give & have always given me! It's tough to find urgent cares / walk in clinics that care for their customers / patients the way ChoiceOne does. Which is why I continue to come back. It costs me twice as much to be seen here rather than by my PCP- but it's totally worth it! read more

concerned over how covid test are taken may not do it correctly i have had it done My wife had it done you guys only swabbed the first 1-1/2 of the nose. should have been 3 -4 inches into the nasal cavity for proper procedure. please follow protocols for taken samples does no good if the sample is not taken properly. you have a great staff but not properly trained!! read more

I just wanted to start out with saying that all day today I've been running around in the Dacula/Buford area trying to find any urgent care place that didn't have a waiting time that wasn't 3 hours and over and didn't close at 4pm. As I do understand it is a Sunday but it's "urgent" for a reason. Moving forward after finally finding this place and getting in as fast as I could they did a fabulous job and finally was able to handle my issues I was having. I love the staff and the environment this place has to offer and I wish a lot more places were like this. I would give them more than five stars but clearly that isn't possible. We are lucky to have the opportunity to be treated by such an exceptional medical team. Their professionalism is unmatched and they truly care about you as a person who needs healing and not just another number. I came once and I haven't even bothered looking for a primary care doctor. The copay is a bit higher this way but you get what you pay for and I choose them over any general health doctors I've ever had in the past. This is my second time coming to see them and the service is still beyond stellar. My daughter went recently. The technician coukdn't figure out how to work the thermometer or blood pressure cuff. They ran no tests & precribed reflux medicine when her primary complaint was back pain. Not sure if she was dealing with back up workers due to current situation, but we will never go back nor recommend it to anyone. My husband and I have been coming here since they opened. I always check in online, and are seen within 10 minutes. I'm not sure what's going on with the reviewers who complained about the wait. We both feel like they go out of their way to be personable, attentive, and mostly provide us with healthcare which is effective. I get an annual sinus infection. This year the PA looked up my past records and offered a referral for a eye nose and throat specialist. Also, I never hesitate to bring my kids in when the wait is too long for their regular pediatrician. They are kind and patient with kids too. Recommend for the whole family! read more

Every time we go into this urgent care we are told it will be a 2 to 3 hour wait, even with going online and setting an appointment. There will be NO ONE in waiting room but because all rooms are full it's a wait. This is unacceptable for an Urgent Care. We had an appointment today and was told the time again was 2-3 hours. We left and just as we did one of the rooms became available as a patient was released. I would not let my 82 y.o. Mother sit there that long. Went right down the road to Regan and was seen within 15 mins. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone- after all its part of GMC. read more

I cut my finger on some glass, grabbed a towel to stop the bleeding, and went on yelp for local respected urgent care. When I walked in Caleb said uh -oh I know what that means, with a big friendly smile. He told me to have a seat and asked my husband to check me in- seeing I was in no condition to do it myself. He made small talk and kept me distracted from the pain, while my husband filled out paperwork and we played "how much medical history does my husband know". Caleb took me into the exam room and wrapped up my finger - which provided way more comfort then the kitchen towel I had. Dr. Dao stitched me up, and a PA gave me a dreaded Tetanus shot (lol). He talked with me the whole time which made the process easier and the stitches look great. Caleb came back in to make sure I had a change of dressing to get me thru the day, a clear understanding of follow up care, and I was out the door. Dr. Dao and the rest of the medical staff is amazing. So friendly, and caring. After working in the medical field for over 18 years- I have some pretty high standards of what patient care should look like. This office exceeded those expectations. These are the friendly faces I hope not to see often - but I am glad they are there. read more

My pharmacy told me that one of the medications prescribed would interact with one of my daily medications. I called to see what I should do. She came back on the phone and told me that it would just make me more drowsy that normal. That's the complete opposite of what the pharmacists told me. They told me it would make me agitated. She said, "oh yeah it could do that too" after I said what the pharmacy was advising. I asked what I should do. She told me not to take the medication and offered no substitution besides call my primary care at 7pm at night.... read more
