I also volunteered while she was going to college to get her experience in before she graduated. I had never gone to a chiropractor before and I never felt threatened or scared because of the knowledge she expressed when we would be at work. This past February I had a horrible fall from about 8 ft off the ground and it messed up my hips real bad. I tried going to the chiropractors here where I live and one guy would do the same technique for everybody that he saw and the other chiropractor she was better but she was too little and too weak to get what I needed done, done! I reached out to Natalie because I knew that she would be able to get me back into a healthy state of physical being. Now it's May and I have been seeing her for a couple of months and she has gotten my hips to go back to the way they are supposed to be. She also has the ability to adjust arms and legs in which she got my right shoulder back in place as well as my right knee. The office staff seems committed to offering the best customer experience. I can tell they succeed at that. No issue with them. My concern relates to time spent as a new patient. I spent 25' max. with Dr. Alana Villada. I spent 25' in a direct personal exchange between me, the patient, and the said Dr. I received a bill of $308.10. I checked with my insurance. I was billed under code 99204 (New patient office visit, 45-59 minutes). I reached out to the billing team and they sent me back to the office manager. The office manager stated that any work conducted by the Physician via the portal (like uploading and posting a comment about a lab result) can be minutes aggregated to the initial visit face-to-face. I am in disagreement since I interacted with the doctor only 25'. Any work done after the face-to-face visit culminated (asynchronously, not demanding a patient's response or physical examination, online, etc.) cannot be considered an in-person visit with a licensed professional or be billed under the same care or service provided. I had a medical problem and made an appointment on Thursday for the following week. It got worse on Saturday, so I went to the emergency room, was admitted to the hospital and missed the appointment. Now, they want to charge me for missing the appointment. I explained my situation to the front desk attendant. I got no follow-up. I called the business office. A machine answered the phone.
