Very happy with the work done by Adam and his crew. He painted the outside trim of my home including the shutters, etc., and did a couple of things in the interior including repairing two areas that had experienced leaks a long time ago. Let me start this review by saying I'm in the disaster relief business and have worked with a lot of contractors throughout the years... Adam was among the best! I was blown away by the quality of the work Adam and his team did on a recent job I hired him for, as well as his work ethic and compassion with a very sensitive situation.  I live in CA but was handling a painting & apartment repair work job for a friend who lives in NYC but was in the hospital recovering from a serious illness. While my friend was in the ICU, I needed to hire someone to do some repairs & paint to my friend's apartment which unfortunately, was in very poor condition, unbeknownst to his close friends. When Adam went to do the assessment, he could have ran for the hills! He didn't. I explained the situation my friend was in and Adam went above and beyond to make it great.  He and his team did repair work to the walls, the floors -- including installing new kitchen flooring. They cleaned and prepped the walls/ceiling before painting flawlessly -- including repairing water damage in 2 rooms. Since I was managing this project from CA, Adam would send me photos along the way so I could see the progress they were making.  In addition to the high quality of the actual work preformed, his prices were very fair and he even did several "extras" along the way that weren't in the original estimate free of charge. For anyone who has ever hired or work with a contractor before, you know this is not the norm. It was refreshing to work with someone who not only was good at their job, but also a family man with good values and isn't out to take advantage or play games with his customers. I would definitely hire Adam again and would recommend him and his team for anyone looking for new paint, flooring or repairs to your home. Horrible horrible customer service and quality. Had Adam and his team scheduled for a paint job. This would be the second job we would have given to Adam with the hopes of many more contracting jobs for our apartment. We had an appointment confirmed with Adam. The night before the scheduled appointment, Adam texted me and said they wouldn't be able to make it because of another job running late because the client wanted more work. Right then I shoulda realized this guy will prioritize whatever is more money with no regard for commitments he has already booked! In any case, we decided to reschedule to the following week. Adam confirmed it via text. I messaged Adam to follow up/confirm later that week with no response. I left many messages and he straight up GHOSTED us. in the end it worked out for the best because his work was CRAP compared to the guy we ended up getting. We found someone way better quality for the price and plan to keep him as our contractor going forward. We are expecting and plan to do lots of work for the nursery. Money I will be HAPPY to give someone else over Adam! Adam's work is cheap, he has no idea how to manage a business. Not to mention his negotiation skills suck, we ended up getting the first job done for pennies because he has no idea what he is doing. But the quality of work shows in what we paid because it was total crap. All I know is what goes around comes around and I feel sorry for him for thinking this is how to do business. I am so happy we found a way better contractor with better quality work and better prices who we plan to have do all of our jobs! read more
