Subpar food every time we go. Not the best but not the worst. We prefer takeout during this time and sometimes the food we pickup is cold on arrival. The nachos and the club sandwich are our go-tos and the burgers are regularly pretty good. Salads are a miss most of the time. Wow! The food here is awesome. Recently moved to Jupiter and had heard several people say this place is great. Stopped in after Christmas shopping at the Gardens Mall and were so psyched we did. Local, neighborhood feel with an incredibly hardworking staff. The burger was insane. Ugh... I hate to give this place a 1 star but I was so turned off by the service, I will NEVER come here again. Seriously! The service was so bad, I thought John Taffer from bar rescue was gonna come out!! I'm a local and frequent this location for cold beer and an old fashion burger, but today was the worst experience I have had dining ANYWHERE! Our young young server came to our table promptly but never introduced herself nor did she care to ask what our sides will be. She quickly scuffled off and slammed down my wife's drink. The food was good, but my wife never got her fries nor did we get any napkins. After waiting 15 minutes watching our server walk by 10 times (without checking on us), my wife had to wave and get her attention to give us napkins and get the the fries she didn't get. She rolled her eyes and slapped napkins on the table. We finally got the fries after the check was paid for. The atmosphere I got from this place is they shun new customers and galavant with the regulars. After 15 years of patronage, I was so turned off by my service,I will never return. read more

What can you say about a classic. For decades this has been a great place to grab a burger. This is not a new gourmet burger place. They have been serving big juicy flavorful burgers in an unassuming style. If you are looking for white table cloths and avant-garde burgers look elsewhere. It's the kind of place where your shoe would stick to the floor. If you are not afraid of the dark and like grungy bar food, this is the place. The Brass Ring is the definition of a dive. Parking can be challenging. The hostess "station" is at the bar. There is no waiting area, just stand by the entrance and wait. It can get packed but the wait is not bad. Service is fast and friendly enough. There are pool tables and other bar games in the back. The walls are covered with...anything...license plates, stickers, handwritten "was-heres", wood planks, and so on. We were seated in a spacious booth fit for 6 next to the entrance. Our menu was sticky and wrinkled on the edges. I do not overthink the layers of gunk that would have led to its page-sticking texture. We order the same thing every time-- Cheeseburger with American Cheese at medium rare and 10 Mild Chicken Wings. The burger was juicy, bun could have been toasted. Tip: the burger does not come with fries but it does come with Ruffle potato chips. Fries are a la carte. The wings were over sauced, drenching the paper on the red plastic basket/plate. Fortunately the sauce makes the wings, tangy and buttery. Their sauce has more of a spicier bite so mild can be the way to go for most. The wings could have been crispier. They serve their non-alcoholic beverages in extra large plastic cups to alleviate refilling visits. Quite smart actually. My cup was exceptionally slippery during this visit. Soap? Grease? Not sure but I continue to imbibe avoiding an accident by wrapping one of their many readily available paper napkins around the cup. When I crave a good burger and wing combo, this place comes to mind first. read more

The burgers are the reason this place is popular. Don't get hung up on the below average ratings because of the service. It's not great but it's a dive bar so expect corresponding service. My 4 stars are based on my limited trial of the menu and the low prices relative to South Florida. Wings are really good if you like an alternative to the standard buffalo sauce. I believe the second most popular attraction to this place is the great drinking atmosphere. Who doesn't like to tie one on in a dive bar? I'm not encouraging it but they have an extensive selection of draft beers at a very good price. If you go there expecting gourmet food and linen napkin service, don't bother. If you go expecting to wait a bit but don't mind it when you're waiting with a cold one, this is your kinda place. One negative though... The fish dip isn't very good at all. Very little smokiness and way tooooo much mayo. Don't bother with this item. read more

Good burgers, cool little venue.There are multiple reasons why this doesn't deserve the five star review, but it is not all bad. Definitely not a place I wouldn't eat at again, but I don't plan on frequenting the location. The bad: Number one, the place is very busy and while we were waiting for our table we had to wait outside and the area is rundown, and there seems to always be a group of sketchy looking people smoking right outside the front door. Number two, the food and burgers were burnt (asked for medium-well). Number three, the servers were not very attentive and rarely came to refill our drinks or see how we were doing (took about 45 minutes to get our burgers). The good: very attractive, unique venue. Something you will likely not find very frequently down in South Florida. Not a chain, I will always prefer local, one-of-a-kind restaurants versus big names. I came here around 3pm on a Saturday for the 60 cent wings deal. I ordered 5 of the mild and 5 of the mild garlic. They were really delicious. I also ordered the seafood combo shrimp and fish with fries. It was pretty good too but the wings were my favorite. The location isn't very good and there isn't much parking. I tried coming here on a football Sunday and this place gets packed. Order your food quickly because you will be waiting a while for it to arrive. read more

My fiancé loves the burgers, but to me, they reminded me of Burger King, where a friend worked when we were in HS said they "painted" the burgers with some flame broiled tasting fluid. THIS PLACE WILL NEVER GET ANOTHER PENNY FROM US!!! We have been coming here for over 25 years and tonight is the first time we ever had an issue. But this was enough to never come back. We waited for two hours from the time we sat down to the time we got the check. It happens! We ordered wings as an appy and burgers for dinner. We knew something was up waiting for our wings soooooo long but then we finally said something. At that point we got our wings, one portion at a time, and then burgers almost immediately together. Everything was going to be on the table at once. We sent the burgers back and apparently they were reordered. I guess someone wasn't happy with that. Then we waited again so long that my dad asked for the check before they came out. We should have left then but Rachel promised our burgers were coming out next. They did but of course the fries weren't well done ... who had the time for that!?! This has never been the experience we had here. And everyone has a bad night but we were told that we didn't request the wings to come first. So it was our fault? SERIOUSLY!!! We have never had to ask that. But ok ... what the biggest issue was is that the waitress, Dallas, who took the order never came back to our table after she screwed up. She passed by our table over and over again, never stopping. The least she could have done was OWNED IT! But instead she completely ignored us and let the other waitress, Rachel, deal with us. Which she did well. Guess what Dallas, tell your customer the truth of what happened and it's all good. NOT OK to completely ignore us after you screw up To add insult to injury we get the bill with no pen to sign and I go up and have to ask Dallas for a pen. I told her that next time she screwed up she should own it! Next thing I know the bartender, i believe Tommy?, gets in my face and tells me not to say anything to her. So the bartender gets in the face of a 56 year old woman who has been patronizing the establishment for 25 years. He should have stayed out of it and nothing would have come of it. I walked out as to not start trouble. But he didn't leave it at that. He went directly to our table and was disrespectful to my 85 year old dad and my husband. I'm guessing my husband's size is what stopped him from getting as nasty as he got with me. My father wanted me to add that he watched this building being built and patronized the restaurant for all these years. I hope Jamie (the owner) has a conversation as to how to handle customers the right way. Shame on Dallas and Tommy for their unprofessional behavior but thank you Rachel. You are who deserved the tip which my father still gave at the end of the night. This staff should be trained as to how to handle this situation going forward. It certainly won't change anything for us since I don't appreciate a bartender getting in my face, EVER, but maybe it will change how other customers are treated. Shame on Brass Ring Pub! read more

The restaurant was packed for a Wednesday night and it was clear it was filled with locals who all knew each other. Not great decor if you care about that, it's dark inside, with dark wood paneling decorated with license plates, neon beer signs, etc. - seedy bar decor for sure. Parking lot is tough, waitstaff was a bit salty, and there were people smoking outside (just as other reviewers wrote). I went there on a crowded night. It took almost an hour to get seated. Not too big of a deal. It took an hour to get the food. Starting to get peeved. Some of the food was pretty good. Crab poppers are great. Onion rings and Burger were good. But that's when things started to go really haywire. My wife didn't even get a side with her burger. They didn't bring some items and they got all the burger orders wrong.... ok not that big of a deal but now we are on alert. Then the check came. We ordered 10 wings. They charged us for 30. We ordered one terrible pitcher of Coors light. They charged us for 2. We ordered a side of onion rings and bacon on the burgers. Didn't get either and were charged for both. We asked the mgr who was a nice guy Tony? to take the charges off. He took MOST of them off. He then gave me a card and said thanks guys, just sign here and you are all set. I didn't give him my card. He had already run someone else's card for our bill. I somehow noticed it and gave it back. My bill somehow went up another 10 during that process. The tab came out to $69.93 and I only had $70 cash on me. Too bad. I'm just hoping they take the extra pitcher and bacon off the tab so our poor waitress got a tip but there was no way I was giving them my CC. Can't want to go back next time I'm in FL! I almost forgot the best part. When I got home I puked... but only about half the burger. The rest of that devil was just sitting inside me next to the terrible Coors light they served me during the hour long wait. I had a resting heart rate of 99 and thought I might pass away in my sleep. Too bad I only sweated enough to flood my bed. But alas...Can't wait to go back! read more

Went here off of a recommendation from our son. He said best burgers as well as all the reviews I read. Everyone is right. So juicy and flavorful. It was a Wednesday night around 7pm and we did have about a 15 minute wait. We ordered a bacon mushroom Swiss burger, chicken wings and crab & cheese poppers. All very yummy. The poppers were good but too spicy for us. The sodas we ordered were in an extra large cup so no need to have to order another. Unlike some of the other reviews, the service was fast and friendly even though they were busy. The bill came to $40 for both of us. Enjoy! read more

This small bar is always packed! It's loud and dark to begin with and the prices are too high. Very good wings with yummy sauces like garlic with big pieces of garlic and other hot/mild varieties. Myself and my girlfriend watched him handle raw meat and ready to eat food tonight without gloves or proper hand washing.
