Beautiful restaurant, great atmosphere, fast, attentive service and fantastic food. Went for brunch and will be back again for sure. My husband said his burger was extremely good, moist and tasty, sweet potato fries were flavorful and perfectly cooked. Went here for a baby shower and was very impressed. Loved the ambiance, reminded me of prohibition vibes a bit. Very nice place perfect for a special occasion. My wife and I went to Palm Beach to catch a minor league game and stopped at The Cooper for lunch before the game. Our waitress Sophia was very sweet and was knowledgeable of the menu. We started with the Caesar salad with the anchovies, which was absolutely delicious and the Korean ribs (gluten free) were phenomenal. I was telling my wife I am going to want those ribs again soon. We also got the lobster roll on a gluten-free bun, it was a good balance of mayonnaise, celery, and onion and a lot of lobster. We got it with sweet potato fries, which were very good. Party of 13 arrived on time one party running late minimal The Waitress comes up has a very unfriendly vibe and attitude after a short while it got annoying we had 5 children so we made early reservations to accommodate the children not getting cranky or tired. And we sat there 20 minutes with a drink. I went directly to the Waitress And explained we have 5 children. And we're sitting a long time can we move along so the kids behave. She told me well I have other tables you know. ( not of 13 and what will be a large check and I tip well for good service Foolish ). Yum! Came here w some ladies for lunch, the concierge at our property recommended it. It was very cute and quite tasty. Server was nice, restrooms were clean. Wanted a burger, ordered The Cooper one w bacon and garlic aioli instead of secret sauce. I added bacon and upgraded to truffle fries. I was hungry so it took me biting into it to notice my bacon was missing and I'm a huge truffle fan, and the fries didn't taste like it was present. The server said the parsley wouldn't have been on it otherwise but I know the truffle taste and it wasn't present. Our server brought me a side of bacon and truffle oil. After that life was good. Burger was perfectly cooked. Flavorful and juicy. My friends enjoyed their salmon meals as well. Staff was kind. While I would come back, it's not at the top of my list. Went here for the 2nd time for a friend's bday get together and a little Christmas gift exchange. Our part wasn't huge but it wasn't small either. They were not super busy but service was slow. Even though the service was slow, our waiter was super nice and patient. Even once we sent drinks back because apparently the bartender decided not to use any alcohol whatsoever in our drinks. We exchanged for wines and beers (can't mess those up). This spot always has a nice comfy setup with rustic tables and comfortable chairs. My food was good. I went for the Cooper burger with sweet potato fries. Most of us got burgers (they have some of the best burgers in town). I also had some cheesecake and a tiramisu. Both delicious but the tiramisu was the clear winner. Our party of four had a mixed experience at The Cooper. Overall, a very average experience. The meatloaf, cod romesco and swordfish pesto linguini were all very good. No complaints. The shrimp on the chopped salad were very over cooked and the dressing was very plain, almost non-existent. We started with the calamari which was severely over cooked and was more than half were tentacles vs rings which does not appeal to most people. I understand a portion being tentacles but not more than half. The service was average. I fully subscribe that being a waitress/waiter is extremely challenging. You have to deal with all kinds of people. However, our waitress was not remotely engaging and drink refills were not actively provided. Anyone can have a bad day so I wouldn't overly penalize them for this. The atmosphere is bar-like so rather casual. There are TVs at the bars. It's worth a second try. read more

This was our first time visiting The Cooper with friends. The exterior was inviting. We had a reservation for brunch, and we were seated quickly. The furniture was comfortable. Our server, Chloe, was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. The music was a little loud for conversation, but they kindly turned it down. The lighting was good for reading the menu. We ordered starters including the Carrot Muffins, Korean Short Ribs, and pancakes. The carrot muffins were good and came with whipped honey butter. My husband liked the short ribs. He said they were really good. They were a little spicy. My friend thought the pancakes were ok. It took a long time to get our entrees. It actually took about 90 minutes start to finish. We ordered Biscuits & Gravy, Mussels, The Cooper Breakfast, and an Omelette. My husband liked the biscuits and gravy, but felt that there was not enough gravy with them. I had a large portion of eggs, although they were a bit dry. My friend enjoyed her mussels. The meal was good, but the wait time was really long. The bathrooms needed cleaning as well. I just ordered churrasco for takeout and it was delicious. They use some kind of a sauce with pinenuts, and I had never tasted anything like that before and it made the steak ignite with flavor. They also included the traditional chimichurri sauce, but this other one was incredible. I ordered it with the brussels sprouts, which were also very delicious. The Cooper has come back from its rather dim days, post COVID. The bar is quite deep, and excellent. V, one of your bartenders, is exceptional. The food has improved BUT, you need to avoid the days that the chef is off. I came on a Sunday early evening, and it went from magic to tragic. The cauliflower appetizer that's coated in a sweet, lightly spicy sauce? Not covered at all. Sauce at the bottom. The bartender, that day, had to go back and do it himself! Embarrassing, chef! Still, when the clowns aren't in charge of the circus, and someone is actually supervising what goes out, the food is very good. I would love to give this place a 4-star but the lack of consistency in the food put out is the achilles heel of this restaurant. The interior is well appointed. The big outdoor patio, which has its own bar, is perfect for season. It's a nice place to have a meeting, grab lunch with a friend, or have a nice evening out... As long as chef is in the house. If there is a tiny, polka-dotted clown car in the parking lot, and you hear a lot of brass horn honking and wheeeee whistles coming from the kitchen? Come on a better day. read more

Although I live in West Palm, I had an appointment right off PGA and the turnpike. As it was a beautiful day, I decided to take myself to lunch afterwards and sit outside. I drove past La Masseria and Rocco's Tacos and decided on The Cooper. Very nice outdoor seating in the shade. My server was quite nice, but she sort of abandoned me after my order. I'm not going to call her out as I liked her, despite not being able to get her back for some period of time. In the meantime I ordered water from another server and drink number two from the outside bartender. Then I asked my server for ice for the water (it came in a small glass with NO ice!), and she said ok, but never brought it. In the beginning my server recommended the cucumber cocktail (I had asked her opinion) and I ordered it. Good, but too sweet, so I ordered a classic margarita when I went directly to the bartender. The Caesar salad was very good, and best of all it came with two white anchovies. Far too many restaurants refuse to include anchovies these days. It has house-made croutons and a lovely big Parmesan crisp on top. I also asked for an opinion on a side of fries vs side of mac and cheese, vs sweet potato fries, and she said regular fries. Their outdoor space is really nice and the staff is incredibly friendly however outside of that everything else falls short The food is incredibly pricey for what they have to offer in terms of seasoning and flavor. And at this price My salad did unfortunately have a bug buried in the lettuce (things happen). I've enjoyed a few different items here and the General Tso's cauliflower appetizer is my personal favorite. Frankly, I don't find the quality of dishes matches the price point when it comes to dinner. My most enjoyable experience was brunch last year with Patty W. They have epic carrot muffins paired with honey butter. Unfortunately, these are only available on Sundays at brunch. Additionally, I appreciate the availability of non-alcoholic beverage options. Service was pleasant but there was a misunderstanding about the water so we paid $6 for a large bottle rather than the tap water we expected. We split a cheeseburger and an extra side of cole slaw to be informed of a $6 sharing charge. They removed the sharing charge as a gesture after the water misunderstanding. I met a fellow Yelper friend of mine for brunch and it was a solid visit. I thought the restaurant had bottomless mimosas and it doesn't. Oh well, it's not a big deal since I got two of them anyway...lol! We got the carrot muffins to share and we weren't shy about putting the butter on them. The Cooper's Max breakfast consists of two eggs, home fries, and multigrain toast. I got the eggs scrambled with cheese and it was alright. The flavors were good on the dish and it balanced out nicely with the mimosas. Our server came to our table periodically and we got what needed as time went on. We were in the area visiting and my wife found this place. She had no issue making reservation. We sat on the patio as it was beautiful outside. And eating outside just adds a little European splash to it. Dakota was our server and she did an incredible job. She ensured our water was never empty. She took our order...bang bang shrimp, General Tso cauliflower, Korean BBQ ribs and a side of fries. We did not need to wish long and our order was accurate. And the food? LOVED IT!!!! My dad wants us to make an excuse next week to be in the area so we can dine here again. No problems when we checked in at the hostess desk. We were seated right away. We sat inside -- as requested -- but the patio doors were wide open at first. And it was a cool evening. There are a couple outdoor seating areas with the one by the bar being the noisiest area. They were packed on a Friday night. But in our location, we could still have a conversation with our friends. I had their skirt steak. Done churrasco style, it came with two colors of fingerling potatoes. It was very flavorful. I loved it. My husband had a Caesar salad with added shrimp. Our friends had the chicken paillard -- a flattened chicken breast under a salad; and the Cioppino (fish stew). They said they liked their meals -- but mine was better. For dessert, we shared two flourless chocolate cakes. They were rich, dense, and fudge like. Yummy for chocoholics! Our server was great and was able to break down the checks by couple even though we were scattered about. However a couple of us ordered the wings, five of the smallest wings I've ever seen for $8. I ate there last night. The service was poor and slow. We never were offered bread and we saw other tables with bread . The waitress couldn't understand my drink order, which was a simple martini very dry up with an olive the waitress interpreted that as a dirty martini. We finally got it right. I ordered the sirloin steak and mashed potatoes. I asked for medium rare I got medium, maybe medium well done. The steak was tough almost inedible. And I didn't eat half of it. I should have sent it back, but I was with three other family members who had already been served, and I didn't want to complicate their meals. It was the worst steak I've had in years.
