    10 medium sauce "wings"

Going downhill fast. My wife and I have been going to thirsty turtle for years. The wings have been excellent until recently. I think they have switched suppliers. I hope this restaurant is not buying from Sysco. Today's wings look like zombie mutations. Disproportionate size and broken bones throughout. When you order wings, you are lucky if you receive one or two actual wings as the order is typically 90% drums. We often order the clams appetizer, but today's clams seem to be filled with more sand than actual clam and are tiny about the size of a fingernail compared to what this restaurant offered a year or so ago. I am very disappointed in what was hopefully a refreshing restaurant for this area is turning out to become another cost-cutting chain serving Sysco style mutated chicken. Pictures of the zombie chicken are included.

Thirsty Turtle is located in Juno Beach, but we tried this Loxahatchee location. Restaurant was clean, girl and guy servers were so polite and helpful. We felt welcomed. Ordered and got our food pretty quickly. Wings were outstanding and appetizers delicious. Thanks for a perfect night out. Cup of Chili - best thing we had!!!! this chili was from heaven above!!! Cup of Conch soup - this was ok Fried Mushrooms appetizer - so delicious, crispy and flavorful Hot wings - crispy and perfect, award winning Po'Boy Sandwich - tasted fishy but good French Fries - nice and crispy Beer special - domestic

Great experience tonight we came for happy hour and decided to order some food. I ordered the wings, hot with blue cheese. My wife ordered the chicken Philly with mushrooms, peppers and onions. We both had drinks from the happy hour list The food came out quickly and looked perfect. My wings were worm but not really hot, let's say they were a little spicy but very good. The sauce is not like any I've ever tasted. Very good. My wife loved the chicken Philly sandwich. We shared her French fríes and the meal was delicious. Our servers name is Kristen and she was delightful, she is definitely an assist to the restaurant staff.

    Dirty windows at our table

We were really excited about Thirsty Turtle opening out west on Northlake Blvd....however, the restaurant is so dirty we cant even go there anymore. The windows are smeared with food, bugs in window sills and tables on patio are always dirty. Clearly there is a lack of good management - the staff huddle around the bar area talking when they could be pitching in to improve the cleanliness. If this is what the front of the restaurant looks like, we can only imagine how bad the kitchen is. We love good music but The music is so loud you cant hear the people at your table. Hope management makes some corrections because would like to see this restaurant succeed.

Everything from the ambiance to the food and even the service was phenomenal. Great dining room area with both an outdoor and indoor bar. We sat with the bartender AB that immediately greeted us with waters and their menu. They are currently running a pick 2 for $15.99 menu that has some pretty great options. We had 2 meals & chose the wings, blackened shrimp po boy with the small gumbo's. Wings were super crispy, juicy, and tender. With a nice light Smokey taste. They buffalo and blue cheese sauce was actually pretty impressive. The po boy had a good amount of shrimp to bread ratio, with a nice sauce included. The gumbo had a deep rich flavor, but was not overly heavy with fatty meats. We were also informed of the happy hour oyster special, so we ended up getting a few of the rockerfella and raw. The rockerfella was amazing with melty cheese, a nice garlic flavor, & served with crispy bread slices. The raw came with crackers, lemon, wine vinegar, and a tasty cocktail sauce. Both were delicious. Marco, the manager came and spoke with us about our experience which really showed the attention to detail this restaurant offers. After sharing our story of visiting New Orleans a few years ago and bragging about the beignets, he brought us 2 out to finish our meal. I have to say, these were better than the ones I've had at cafe beignet in NOLA. They were HOT out the fryer to the point where the powdered sugar was slightly melted. Crisp outside dough but gooey soft in the center. A unreal experience to end a fantastic meal. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone. Luckily my sister lives 5 mins from this place but I would easily drive a hour or 2 when visiting from out of town just for this experience. Marco and AB really went above and beyond to make sure this was a special outing on a regular ole' Monday, and we could not have left happier.

The atmosphere is elegant yet comfortable, the service is attentive without being overbearing, and the staff is knowledgeable about the menu. Everything felt polished from start to finish, and there was no pressure with upselling or tipping--just genuine, professional hospitality. We started with the seafood sampler, and every item was exceptionally fresh. The oysters, shrimp, and shellfish were beautifully presented and tasted as good as they looked. For my entrée, I had the Lobster Shellfish Pan Roast. The lobster, scallops, shrimp, clams, and mussels were all fresh and perfectly cooked. My only minor critique is that the brandy cream sauce leaned a little sweeter than I would have preferred, but it certainly didn't take away from the quality of the dish. The espresso martini was also excellent--smooth, well-balanced, and made exactly the way it should be. Spoto's is definitely on the expensive side, but that's to be expected for high-quality seafood, an upscale atmosphere, and excellent service. If you're looking for a great seafood restaurant for a date night, celebration, or special occasion, Spoto's is absolutely worth a visit. I'll definitely be back.

I will say I was underwhelmed by the whole experience and happy I wasn't paying for the lunch because it was not up to the quality of how expensive it was. The waitress was extremely slow on providing refills and when I asked for suggestions she only talked about the oysters and nothing outside of the starters lineup on the menu. The restaurant was pretty empty for lunch so I thought she would've been more on top of it. We ordered some oysters which were decent but I've had better on palm beach island. The crab cake was probably the only item I was thinking wow this is good. The salmon was lacking flavor and quality so I barely touched it. It was also extremely cold inside and the music was blasting. The waitress just seemed ready to keep up charging us by pushing us to order more such as coffee and dessert and not checking in on us through the meal. I would honestly skip out on this restaurant and go to La marina or another Palm beach restaurant and actually get your moneys worth.

Service felt flat the entire time. I specifically asked for very light ice in my drink and even said I didn't care if the glass wasn't full. The drink still came out packed with ice, and I had to ask for a separate cup and spoon to fix it myself--which shouldn't happen. What really stood out was the lack of attention. We were there for about 35 minutes, and not once did she come back to check on us--no "How is everything?" and no offer for another drink. Meanwhile, she spent more time in the back talking with a coworker than actually servicing her customers. There was also confusion when we asked for the check, which just added to the overall disorganization. What's disappointing is that this place used to have a much better vibe--staff like Denise made it feel welcoming and enjoyable. That's clearly changed. The new staff just doesn't bring the same level of service or personality. The food and location still have potential, but service makes or breaks a place--and right now, it's missing.
