After having the Caesar Salad & Burger Both very good) in the bar area thought it was time to try Brasserie for dinner in the proper restaurant. Arrived on a Monday night around 7 & it was half full so was seated immediately.
I heard the Fish soup was good so I ordered a small as a starter. It came out with two types of fish (Salmon, baby Shrimp & Cod) & mussel. The liquid was poured at the table. Soup was seasoned perfectly, creamy( but not heavy) & the fish was cooked just right.
The Moules Frites came out in a large pot. Seasoned in a semi spicy broth and cooked perfectly, fries were very good also. Definitely get the smaller size for one person-the large is for sharing-portion was huge!
Dimmed lights with a good mix of background music made for a great atmosphere. Service was attentive & friendly. A hidden gem in the Quality Hotel. read more
