    Crushed tortilla chips anyone?

How do you ruin a plate of nachos? 5 of us visited this restaurant on June 24 after a nice hike up the mountain. We were looking forward to lunch and beer on the patio. We ordered the "Mega Nachos" at $34.95 and the chicken wings. The nachos looked like a 5 year old had put them together. Hardly any cheese, no layering, burned in several places, crushed pieces on the bottom... this is the saddest excuse for nachos I've ever seen in a restaurant. When I mentioned to the waitress that the pan she set in front of us was pretty unacceptable, her response was "Why?". She is either used to seeing burned product coming from the kitchen, or didn't really give it a second thought. To her credit, she did offer to take it back to the kitchen and have them make another pan, but at that point, after waiting over 30 minutes for our food, I told her we would just eat it, but to please tell the kitchen that they should do better for the next guest. Take a look at the pictures and you'll see what I mean. The chicken wings were dreadful as well. All 5 of us tried a wing and all had the same conclusion: like a salt truck had been dumped in the marinade. The meat was so salty, nobody wanted a 2nd piece. There are several options with a river view in the town of Beloeil. Do yourselves a favor and go somewhere else.

While I didn't have the chance to try any of the food, the service alone left a great impression! The staff was attentive, friendly, and always seemed to appear at just the right moment when our glasses were running low. Everything felt effortless throughout our time. The space itself is cute. They also have a lovely outdoor patio with cozy lighting and greenery making it a great spot to relax and enjoy good conversation. There was no wait when we arrived, and the entire experience was seamless. If you're looking for a place to enjoy wine, catch up with friends, Wolf & Workman is worth a visit.

Tucked away with a beautiful terrasse in the back, it's the kind of place you'd almost miss--but absolutely shouldn't. The service was fantastic from start to finish--attentive, warm, and genuinely welcoming without ever feeling overbearing. The food was equally impressive. Everything we tried was delicious and thoughtfully prepared, with portions that are just right. The beef and mushroom tartare was a standout--rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced--and the braised lamb cavatelli was simply outstanding. The lemon tiramisu for dessert was the best ive ever had. Overall, a fantastic experience. Can't wait to come back!
