First review ever...! We have supported the MLK Braums for as long as I have lived in Arkansas. Their service and attention to order detail is as bad as it gets. I have tried so many times to overlook it but after you sit in a drive through for 20 minutes after you drove 14 minutes there the order should be close. It's so sad to see such a decline in quality and service today and even trying to be understanding a person reaches their limits. So, last night I picked my granddaughter up from her school dance, she wants Braums. Unknowingly there was a razorback game of some sort so yes very busy. We stand in line like everyone else. They take our order. My granddaughter gets a kids meal chicken strips with a blended root beer float, they call it a freezie. I ordered a medium mint chocolate chip shake and jr. Burger. We get our food in good time. I'm still waiting on the drinks, here comes the freezie. Still waiting on the shake. I walk up and ask about the shake. She ( M.O.D) informs me it's on the way. Continue to wait. Watching everyone else icecream go out. She then tells me he is making it, so I'm looking for who ever he may be. I see a young man start dipping the mint chocolate chip but it's in a small cup. I walk up to her and said you may want to stop him, I ordered a medium and he is making a small. She leans in and says " I am going to be honest with you we don't have enough for a medium" so you were going to just scrape the bottom of the box and make a small and hope I don't notice? Came here for just a simple scoop of ice cream and left with nothing. Got there, waited over 10 minutes being the only person in line. I could tell they were short staffed so I was patient but as soon as they tried taking my order, they said they were out of all the flavors but 2. I left very disappointed as well as the mess in there was horrific. Ice cream was ALL over the soft serve machine, the mess on the counters was insane and dishes were piled over each other. Would give this place 0 stars if I could. I used to love going to this location, but my last few visits have been some of the worst visits I've had at any food service establishment. First of all, they have been cash-only and had a broken frozen yogurt machine for at least the past two weeks (neither of which are huge deals, but you'd think there would be a higher sense of urgency to get this resolved). However, I finally decided I wouldn't be returning to this location for awhile after my most recent visit. After seeing a drive-thru line out to MLK (red flag #1), I decided to order inside. After placing my order (which was cash only), I was owed $10 in change. The cashier looked at me and shrugged as if he couldn't give me change. After I told him I needed it, he talked to another employee, who finally was able to give me the proper amount of change. Then, while waiting for my order, I noticed extreme levels of uncleanliness in the kitchen and unprofessionalism with staff dealing with other customers. There was blatant ignoring of customers who clearly needed assistance, and after waiting for my order for 30 mins, I finally just walked out. It appeared there was no manager on duty, or if there was, they were completely incompetent. The food was horrible,they only gave us half a cheese,and all the food was cold except the chicken, they got our crispy sandwich order COMPLETELY wrong,the sprite was only sparkling water,the bathroom was atrocious, the floors were sticky, the mirror was dirty. The workers had food on the kitchen floor,and after we complained about the sandwich,they were saying that it was the right order when it was clearly not the same since it was missing the bacon,cheese,and tomato,whenever we received our right order my daughter ate it and started feeling so sick that she vomited in the car after we went outside.The last thing I want to add to this review is that my fries were warm,but had too much salt which could lead to heath issue. This is the worst Braum's I have ever been too. The service was horrible, the restaurant was filthy, and we were charged for the free water cup with our order. Went here for a milkshake and it wasn't blended all the way half of it was straight ice cream. The place is a mess food all over the floor and tables are dirty. Also they had no toilet paper in the bathroom. And if you're worried about cross contamination done come here they don't clean their machines or anything. read more

I have not been on the inside of this location, only the drive thru. As braum's is primarily an ice cream place, I rolled up excited to pick out my ice cream. I was very surprised to see that on their outside menu there is no ice cream flavors. I asked the employee at the drive thru what flavors they had, with a reply of "we have 27 different ones, was there one you had in mind?" There was none I had in mind as I did not know what was available and the employee did not seem to want to list them out to me. I understand her view, as I wouldn't want to list 27 flavors either but this could be easily solved by putting what they sell on their menu. I picked a basic flavor because I did not know the options. Of course this wouldn't be an issue if you're going inside the store, but this is just something to keep in mind if you plan on going through the drive thru only. read more

I LOVE Braum's birthday cake shakes, and I always get them when I have rough days. Today was one of those days, so I went and got one. I like to let the ice cream melt a little, to make it easier to sip through a straw. As I got home and was beginning to enjoy my shake, I got multiple chunks of what tasted like chocolate. I thought nothing of it until I reached the very end of my shake and there were multiple chunks of chocolate in the bottom of it :( I've never had this issue before and I hope that it never happens again because I'm not a big chocolate person and it kind of ruined the taste for me. read more

This is a really good fast food burger. I'm not much a fan of anything but the burgers on their menu, but they are delicious. And then there is the icecream. It is delicious, and they will make your shake as runny or thick as you want it. Ordered a Black Forrest sundae which is suppose to be chocolate Bundt cake on the bottom, vanilla ice cream with cherry and fudge topping. Since this is currently drive through only I didn't see until I got home there was no Bundt cake whatsoever. What a disappointment. Feel I shouldn't have been charged full price for sundae since a big part of it was missing. Also as a side note, no one at this location was wearing a mask or gloves while preparing or serving food.
