Hopefully I can edit this review in the future but this location is terrible. It's highly annoying to stand at the counter and see 5 employees trying to appear busy while ignoring you. Last visit, the guy that must be the shift manager was taking ice cream orders until I got to the front. He then left to go boss other employees around instead of taking my order, leaving me waiting for the other girl to take my order. Up to that point he was SLLLOOWW, obviously above getting his hands dirty. I've frequented Braum's for ice cream for a long time, and there are other locations that are still great. This is NOT one of them. If you are on I-35 North, try Perry or Blackwell. If you are headed south, there's one just a few exits farther, I haven't tried it but it's GOT to be better than this one. read more

I love Braums . Love their ice cream and chicken sandwiches. Will not use anything but their milk. But today we stopped by and bought ice cream and a shake. The shake had stuff in it. Could not tell what but it looks like maybe part of a cone? Terrible. Someone is not cleaning the tools used and cross contaminating the foods. Two weeks ago I got a shake with a peanut in it. But back then I thought it was just a mistake or something. I used to like shakes from Braums but now I will think twice about ordering them. They come with surprises. I lost my appetite when I saw the reviews and photos, but my family and I like to try places we don't have in Florida. We have it a shot and I'm glad we did! The food was good and the Strawberry Shortcake I ordered was good, but on our first visit my burger was missing. I had to share my hubby's Bacon Cheeseburger. Boy has Braum's gone downhill!! No longer is it a place I feel safe to dine in. The entire interior needs a serious scrub down!!! Stepping up to the counter to place an order there is an overwhelming odor of sour milk and prep areas are typically messy and disgusting in appearance. Far too often I have observed staff milling about seemingly with no clue that they should take the short periods of time when they have nothing to do to wipe down tables, seating, windows and sills and mop floors. And it isn't just one store in particular, these are similar observations of many of Braum's stores. The entire chain needs some looking over by corporate and revisions on job descriptions and expectations need to to be brought up to better standards. I realize that since covid, staffing has been a challenge, but that is still no excuse for the level of filth observed. read more

Tristan was super helpful while we bombarded him with questions about the menu, haha! He was also super patient not only with us, but with a "not-so-pleasant" woman behind us in line. This is a good Braum's. I've stopped along the way many times coming in from the north to get an ice cream fix. They have a double drive thru and are reasonably quick. One of the things I don't like is that the road is divided and if you want to go back to the highway you have to go away from the highway and do a flip flop to get back the way you want. read more

So I needed something gluten-free & dairy free and there were not a lot of options in Guthrie. So we stopped in at the local Braum's. Their store was clean and the service was good. I didn't see anything I wanted on the menu since it all was mixed with things I don't eat so the lady let me order just two side items and my meal ended up being super cheap as well. Breakfast for 2 was about $5. If I needed to make another quick breakfast stop in Guthrie, this would be the place to go. read more

Just went through the drive through and wow!....what a horrible experience!!! Order-taker told us to wait and then took orders for five cars from 2nd drive through......never came back to us again. Drove up to the window to place our order and inform the staff that the speaker must not be working. The teenage order-taker was annoyed we did not wait and pointed her finger at us to wait while she took another order from the 2nd speaker again. Never apologized for the wait and Continued to be rude during our order. We decided to cancel our order due to her annoyed expressions and rude responses. Management has some problems here!!!! Will not come to this Braun's again. Customer service severely lacking. Reflects very poor training....not sure how this translates to the food they serve....not had the chance to try it. I have never been to a bad Braum's until today. Filthy counter, the workers are all fighting in front of the customers, no jalapeños on the jalapeño cheddar burger and wrapper still on the cheese. If they were not all fighting with the tension so high, they probably would not have missed the wrapper. Luckily, we noticed we were missing a regular fry before we left, but we didn't get it until the two women workers were done arguing. read more

I ordered a burger with no onions due to an allergy and a chicken strip dinner. The burger was covered in onions and there was not one chicken strip in the box. I should have checked before I left the store, but I didn't. Once I took the meals back to be corrected the manager had an attitude about it. We'd seen Braum's Ice Cream and Dairy Stores on past visits through Kansas and Oklahoma. A visit proved to be surprising and tasty. In addition to the ice cream, they had Braum brand cold cuts, eggs, juice, and a grill with old-fashioned burgers and chicken sandwiches. Braum's owns its dairy herd, farms and ranches, processing plant, bakery, retail stores and delivery trucks. They grow alfalfa and corn to feed the cows, and buy local crops as well. They also don't use any hormones or antibiotics. The "farm-to-table" operation is still family owned and run. Pretty cool, I think. And the chocolate mojito ice cream is addictive. read more

I-35 is busy and stressful. Braum's has always been a nice break. This time, however, the store in Guthrie was not the clean, quality hamburger oasis of my experience. The floor was dirty, the condiment counter was dirty, the hamburger was soggy and I sent my first one back because the order was wrong. I think this is one of the worst Braum's I've ever been too! First, the food we received was cold! I talking about the cheese was nowhere near melted because that's how cold the hamburger was! The tables where dirty and the glass had smudges all over them, not to mention flies where flying all in the back by the ice cream sundae bar mix. What is supposed to be in a Grande Breakfast Burrito? Mine had cold sausage, cold tater tots, fresh tomatoes and onions and about a half cup of pickled jalapeños. No egg and no cheese. Why don't we have Braum's in Minnesota? I couldn't get over how inexpensive the chain's ice cream was given its quality. Very tasty hard scoop ice cream with excellent sundae options. In addition you can get a single scoop sundae for $2.50 which is just right. I don't want 3 scoops for $6 which is usually my only choice at a premium ice cream shop. We visited shops in both Guthrie, and also in Blackwell OK. Great flavors -- including Peppermint Stick both places. In Minnesota that is sadly reserved only for the Christmas season. The boys working the counter were a bit spacey, but they were polite and sweet -- that kind of added to its ice cream shop charm. read more

We stopped off here just north of the Oklahoma City metro for a quick bite on our way south. I had never heard of Braum's not being from the south. They are everywhere in TX, OK, and KS mainly. They are most known for their ice cream and wonderful ice cream related desserts. They also have burgers, chicken tenders, salads, and chili. They even have breakfast! On this visit we were there for late dinner and so I had the burger with fries. It was good sized and had great taste for a fast food burger. I especially liked the crinkle fries. We will have to try their ice cream next time we are in town. Pay attention to their operating hours as they seem like the type of place that would be open 24 hrs, but one of the employees at this location told me they close at 10:45pm. Strange time I know. Anyway, the other thing I found interesting is they have a mini grocery store in here also. You can buy pretty much anything here, from milk and eggs to fresh produce. They also have meats and snacks, as well as tubs of their ice cream and sherbet. I would stop here again for an quick bite on the road. read more

Terrible terrible terrible Braum's. We stopped to have lunch for a family of 5. First, the cashier charged my cousin for 2 drinks with her value meal, told her it was because the meal came with a shake and stiffed her on the bacon. She ordered light mustard, and it was on the top AND bottom bun. My chicken sandwich was ice cold, so I drove back to ask for a fresh one--What did I get? A microwaved sandwich in 30 seconds with buns so hot I couldn't even hold it. I called the manager back, who was blasè about the whole thing. Pure trash....don't bother wasting your time. read more

Burger was dry,cold and bland,cheese was not even melted wilted lettuce,and not good lettuce it was the hard white part that most people throw away. It was very busy at lunch time so we assumed it would at least be hot,fries are crinkle cut like ore Ida from the grocery store and not much warmer then the cold burger. Soft drinks were weak and the dispenser stuck like it hadn't been cleaned recently. On a positive note they did get the order correct and in a reasonable amount of time otherwise I would have given them one star. read more
