Inside the main room at Josabi's Acres with temp climate control in place for our Christmas party.

Great venue. We had our company Christmas Party at the location. The atmosphere is rustic without being too far out of town. There is plenty of parking and, after we had EquipmentShare set up temporary heat, the venue was comfortable despite the 40° temps. The main room had plenty of space for around 100 of us for a casino night and buffet service. The actual local bar attached to the room we rented added considerable value to the experience as well.

Our wedding at Josabi's was so beautiful! Their staff was so attentive and the venue was gorgeous. Best night of our lives!

We had our wedding here almost three years ago when they were first starting out in the venue business. Great people to work with. John and Robin definitely helped us a great deal with everything we could ask for. They are very easy going and great to work with. The location is great! Not too far from San Antonio or the hill country. After our wedding, many of our friends and family have used the venue for parties or weddings.

This venue is amazing. John was very easy to work with. Tell him hector sent you. I know you will love this place. We had our engagement photos, bridal shoot, rehearsal, ceremony and dance here. Check out some of the photos.

I want to start my review by thanking the owner of the venue John, he was honestly so helpful, Friendly, and just made our 12/29/18 wedding reception amazing! He was constantly helping to ensure we had the smoothest reception with the least stress possible and we appreciate all his help! The venue was just perfect, you can do so much with all the space and the cost you rent this venue for is not bad at all for the great venue!

Great place to go for a concert or a beer on an average day. Chill environment with pool tables and dart boards. Casey is the best in town.

The outside doesn't scream coffee shop , in fact it's kind of an "IYKYK" type places because it's right in plain sight and I passed it for awhile before knowing what it was. Thanks to the San Antonio coffee fb group for all of the recommendations! They have a pretty expansive menu as well as plenty of delicious looking baked goods ! They have some cbd options too but I didn't try any of those. I tried the iced texas Star - flavorful and great espresso flavor. I do wish they used smaller ice cubes so the drink would last just a tiny bit longer. I also tried their chocolate croissant. Good, but would've been better warmed up! I don't remember if they offered that. My friend had the matcha and she loved it. They recently got a new matcha and she was worried because she loved the other one but was pleasantly surprised how smooth and delicious this one was as well. I definitely need to go back and try their matcha as well as other menu items because everything sounds so good. 1 star taken off because it is very hard to navigate with a stroller which is a bummer because I know tons of moms that love to venture out and find new coffee shops. On the plus side, clean restrooms with a changing table which is hard to come by!

Every other part of this review is a full-on warning about the new management company, Bluebonnet Events, and how their mismanagement, poor communication, and disregard for agreements ruined our wedding day. When our original venue canceled with less than six months to go, The Gardens felt like a blessing--it was stunning, close by, and run by kind, professional people who truly cared. We worked with Vickie, who was everything a bride could hope for: responsive, flexible, and understanding. She helped us stay within budget and even got approval from the owner to use our own caterer and self-serve setup, which we had already paid for elsewhere. Everything was perfect--until three weeks before our wedding, when I received an unexpected email from Amanda at Bluebonnet Events, introducing themselves as the new management and informing me they would now be my only point of contact. The email claimed all existing agreements would be honored--that turned out to be false. Within days, they demanded an additional $600 for security, which was already included and paid for, and also a cleanup crew, which had been previously approved to not have. When I challenged the charges and showed proof, they removed the fee for the security but insisted that our catering approval was invalid since it wasn't in writing. Despite our prior verbal approval directly from the owner, we were forced to pay another $400 for their cleanup crew, just weeks before the wedding. They knew we had no choice at that point--they had us cornered. Then came the wedding day itself, which should have been joyful and stress-free. Instead, Amanda interrupted us ladies while we were getting ready to complain about parking (for cars that weren't even ours). Then a "day-of-coordinator" appeared, also interrupting me getting ready, even though I had been told that a day of coordinator would not be provided unless we paid extra. I was happy to have this help, but unfortunately she didn't follow my instructions at all. She was either unaware of or completely ignored my plan to walk down the flat, accessible pathway to the aisle and forced me, in heels and a ballgown, and my uncle, who was escorting me and should not be going up or down stairs, to climb down a steep set of stairs and an uneven set of rocks they considered stairs. It was awkward, unsafe, and humiliating. The ceremony itself was lovely thanks to our family and vendors--but the reception quickly became chaos. From the moment we walked in, we were rushed nonstop. It made no sense until later, when my husband explained to me that he was told that "by contract," the event had to end at 9 p.m. or we'd need to pay another $400 to continue--even though our signed contract clearly stated we had the venue until 11 p.m. By then, we were exhausted and out of options. The staff began pushing guests out early, ruining our last dance and cutting short the night we'd dreamed of for years. We had definitive plans to pack any leftovers to bring home to our house, but we were so rushed (as if we were expected to not only end the wedding at 9 but also have all cleanup done at 9 as well) that we didn't even get to do that. We just had let one of the vendors take it, which in hindsight was probably close to several hundred dollars' worth of food. When we looked back at the contract later, our suspicions were confirmed: management had simply scheduled their crew until 9 p.m. and tried to pressure us into paying more so they could leave early. Our guests felt uncomfortable, our timeline was destroyed, and one of the happiest nights of our lives now carries a permanent stain. In short--the venue is beautiful, but the new management is absolutely not trustworthy. If you're considering this venue, I strongly urge you to verify every detail in writing and triple check who you're dealing with.

Ezdra was outstanding throughout the entire process. She was professional, detail-oriented, and went above and beyond to ensure every question was answered--even the ones she may not have encountered before. Her support made all the difference in making the planning experience smooth and stress-free, especially for us parents trying to give our kids the best day possible. The venue itself is breathtaking and so well thought out. It truly is a one-stop shop--from the ceremony site and cocktail hour space to the reception hall, bridal suite, and groom's suite. Everything is on-site and conveniently arranged, making it easy for vendors and guests alike. They even provide golf carts to bring guests from the parking area up to the ceremony site--such a thoughtful touch to ensure everyone gets to the celebration without hassle. The Oaks regularly hosts open houses, which gave us the chance to see potential vendors in action and visualize how everything would come together. They were also incredibly flexible, allowing multiple appointments to ensure every detail was covered. The outdoor ceremony space is magical and needs very little decorating--unless you want to add your own flair. Since our first visit, they've updated the cocktail hour area with a gorgeous pergola and lighting, making it even more special. The reception hall comfortably accommodated our 150 guests and looked absolutely stunning. Their selection of decorations, table linens, runners, lighting and chargers is generous and elegant. They really have thought of everything! The bartending team was fantastic, too--skilled, friendly, and spot-on with signature drinks. They also took care of cutting the cake and provided all the plates and utensils, making that part of the celebration so easy and seamless. And their sister catering company is phenomenal and comes highly recommended. Our experience from start to finish was seamless and joyful. The bride and groom were thrilled with every part of the process and the big day itself. We truly felt supported and cared for by everyone--the staff, florists, wait staff, bartenders, even the security team and the owner. Each person was kind, patient, and committed to making the day perfect. We are so grateful to have worked with such an amazing team. Thank you again to Ezdra for her unwavering support and to everyone at The Oaks at Heavenly. We are beyond happy and will be recommending this venue to everyone we know. This place has it all.
