I shopped at Bravo often when I lived in Ft Lauderdale that's where I first learned what they offer. This one does not have a meat counter, they pre-package the meat and seafood and put them in the freezer/cooler sections. I do miss the seafood counter but there are a few in Orlando that still have that option. They also have a prepared food counter, and the prices are pretty reasonable. They have good service. Check them out if you're looking for some items you can't find in a regular grocery store.

Then she helped me know how to possibly get help through my computer. She was so kind, caring, and helpful and I was so grateful to her. That's why Publix is still the best and II'll always be loyal to them. Once my husband with dementia wandered away from home and ended up at the store and they were so kind dealing with him and contacting me and someone stayed with him until I arrived. My "lost" phone was down in the cushion of my chair at home. I'm sorry I wasted Samantha's time, but she demonstrated the superior kind of customer care I wish every business would emulate. The lovely and kind lady working in the bakery - Brittany - was so sweet to offer to make it for me on the spot. This was within 15 minutes before the store closed. The rest of the store was nice and clean as per usual when it comes to Publix's. I was just so impressed with the service from this kind employee.

Imagine that one tiny section on isle 3 at Publix but exploded into an emporium of various beans, rice, tortillas, and sazon. Their deli is unlike Publix as well. They have a large hot case with all the Cuban dishes including pork, ropa vieja, oxtail, tostones, maduros, empanadas, beans, and 3 different kinds of rice. Their sandwiches are served on half of a Cuban loaf. I once ordered a pork sandwich and although it wasn't the best I've had it was definitely the biggest (I should've eaten half and saved the rest for later). They also bake all of their bread and pastries in addition to serving up a fantastic cafe con leche.

The women that answered the phone was short and hung up without saying goodbye. Like most Aldi's they beat out Walmart and Publix on pricing; yet they lack some of the variety of vegetables and other items the alternative chains provide. Regardless, I like what Aldi offers and I prefer to shop here over the other two chains when I can. The staff member working the front register was friendly, and efficient and we were in and out in no time; what else can you ask for? All-in-all, this is a great grocery store in the DeLand area, it is conveniently located off 17/92 and I would return again if I need a grocery item next time I am in the area.

The holistic herbs, the organic items that they carry, and especially the bread! I make my own bread and I was shocked to see the ingredients listed on the bread because it was the exact same as mine! The service was fantastic. I needed oregano oil for the kids and I had asked my husband to get one for her and they were so helpful on finding him the best one. The place is clean and well organized. I highly recommended this place. Although it's a bit pricey but that's normal if you want the best for your health!
