I love Publix- shop there weekly. Love the pharmacy- won't switch to mail order because their pharmacy is amazing. The deli on the other hand- They work with no sense of urgency- and the sub station is never stocked I have zero understanding of how they are never stocked during dinner rush or why they stop to completely stock in the middle of an order. I'm sitting here writing this, still genuinely stunned. "Where shopping is a pleasure" could not have been further from the truth today. I stopped by the Publix pharmacy for a quick pickup, and while checking out, I asked if they could also refill a prescription--something simple, something routine, something well within the scope of what they do every day. Keith, the associate helping me, turned to the pharmacist and said, "Guess I'm not leaving early." I was so taken aback that all I could say was, "I'm sorry," and he didn't respond. The silence made it worse. I had no idea that my presence--my business--was such an inconvenience. Especially considering that customers like me are the reason anyone there gets a paycheck in the first place. I walked out shocked, embarrassed, and honestly disappointed. No one should feel like a burden for asking a pharmacy to... do pharmacy work. read more

I go to this Publix a few times a week. Workers are very polite. Prices are a bit high compared to competitors. The worst thing is the deli. Many seniors shop there including me. The sodium content of almost everything is off the charts! Not good for the many people with high blood pressure. The rotisserie chicken is always overcooked and some appear burnt. The fried chicken is mostly breading with an extreme amount of sodium. So many issues it's hard to mention all. I'm looking elsewhere for a market that has more healthy options. read more

What went well: DERINE! Others use the food same ingredients but Derine adds in flavor. Hands down, no matter what type of sub I order, hers ALWAYS tastes so darn good. This location is smaller and older than other Publix. A former Albertsons that is now a Publix. This is probably come go to Publix due the it's proximity to my residence. It may not be as fancy as other locations but is clean and has great employees. My wife and I enjoy going to the deli and getting Mojo Pork sandwiches. We also received our Covid-19 vaccine there when no one else had it available. Will continue to visit this Publix as long as I live in Deltona. read more

I went there the other night to get a sub after a very long day, I arrived at 9:52 pm and immediately went to the back to order my sub. When I got back there I noticed all of the sub stuff was put away so I asked the girl working if I could still order. To my surprise she immediately let out a huge sigh and rolled her eyes while saying yes. The entire time she was making my sub she complained about the time and how "she can't believe someone would order this late." I was so shocked to have this kind of response. Seems like people have a problem when they have to actually work. Thank you for such a trashy experience Heaven i'll be sure to let management know! read more

To clarify this is the Saxon Crossing store. So frustrated. Bought a pk of hotdogs got home and saw they had expired 14 days earlier! Now, if this was the only time I wouldn't care. But it has happened more at this store than any other store in my life. Two months ago bought strawberries, and the next day the ones in the middle were rotting and not edible. Few months before this I bought milk got home and the best by date was the next day. This store has wonderful employees. I'll continue to use the pharmacy. It's time consuming to scrutinize every item for the expired date. Yes, the store has refunded my money, when I returned their expired food. read more

this is the closest grocery store to my house. I'm in there quite a lot. Everyone is always super nice and very helpful. I've always felt welcome there. Even when other stores refused to let me in due to mask mandates they always go out of their way to make it a special day when we're just doing the ordinary thank you to all the staff. read more

There are other Publix stores, even newer, that I've gone to but by far the employees make this one the best. The staff in the seafood department are absolutely wonderful! They're knowledgeable on their products, patient with each customer, and more often than not convincing me to buy and try something new; for which I'm never let down. Seafood, as we all know isn't cheap, so if it weren't for the staff I would easily go else where. Also I say the exact same thing about Craig at Publix Liquors. Well done, gentlemen. This is my favorite grocery store!!! It used to be an Albertson's, but now it's a Publix. The prices may have gone up a little bit, but not much, and they cleaned the store up and hired (mostly) new staff of really polite, wonderful people. Despite being located on Saxon, this is usually the least populated Publix in the area, which I really enjoy. I hate being in a crowded store amongst tons of other people. As I've stated previously, it's clean. Living up to the Publix standard. The employees are all sweet and polite. Most of them remember me and are extremely nice. It has a nice selection of groceries to choose from at a decent price. Not as cheap as Walmart, but hey, if paying a little bit more means you don't have to go to Walmart, isn't it worth it? This Publix was just recently updated and refinished inside. Publix has everything (although you will pay more for it) and if they don't have it, ask, they can get it for you. Friendly staff. Great Store. read more

This place used to be an Albertson's. The problem is... it still is an Albertson's. I shop at Publix because of the cleanliness and just overall nice atmosphere of the store. But this store doesn't seem to have changed. It's the closest to my house, and I pass by it all of the time, but that's it. I just pass it by. I'd prefer to drive a little further to Doyle or Enterprise. I guess you're still getting Publix quality products, and it's not like anyone is rude or anything, but it feels more like shopping at WalMart - minus the terrible wobbly carts! read more

I thought Publix was all about customer service, where shopping is a pleasure but not when u r trying to return an item. I bought a gift card for the cheesecake factory that I didn't use. I had my receipt with me and they refused to give me a refund because on the back of the card it says this card can not be redeem for cash and that's right when u giving it to somebody as a gift not when you are the one that bought it and try to return it to the store u bought it from.
