Went in to buy green bananas. The cost is .59 a pound. Needed a box which has 40lbs. Total cost 23.60 they wanted to charge 24.00. There response go buy them individually if you don't want to pay the extra .60 . So basically your paying .60 for a box. They also over charge for pumpkin. When it's on sale for .69/.79;a pound the leave the current sticker that says 1.09/1.29 per pound. So if you don't look at the price tag your actually paying more then it is. They over charge customers and over price. LOOK AT THE PRICE TAGS. THEYRE THIEFS!! read more

2/19/24. I enjoy coming to Bravo when we are in the area! It is mainly a Hispanic supermarket with Hispanic produces. They have unusual produce, unique fish market, lots of dried beans, herbs and a nice deli with hot lunch/dinners to go, lunch meats and such. read more

Supermarket This market caters mostly to the Caribbean / South American clientele in the area, so be aware of that. Like most of these markets, they have a better than average produce and seafood section with a large variety of items you may, or may not, be aware existed. The meat / butcher area can be off-putting if you are used to American markets where everything is nice and neat and positioned to sell, versus an actual, functional meat department. In any case, the meats all seem fresh and looked good. Dry goods: again, there is a lot of focus on the target audience, so you will see tons of rice options in large sized sacks- not the 1-pound bag people buy at the store. That being said, there are a lot of your usual options here as well so you can do your grocery shopping. Prices are hit or miss (like most places you should know the going rate). There is an in-store cafeteria where you can get solid food as well. The language can be a barrier here - it will definitely help if you speak or can understand Spanish. The front door are is a sh&t-show with everyone funneled into one smallish entrance / exit. Plenty of parking is available. read more

The food is awesome! A big variety for every taste and flavors. Service is fast and friendly. They can handle a big crowd. The majority food take to go but if you want to eat there, they have tables and chairs. Prices are reasonable. Either way you take your food cooked or raw you are going to be satisfied. read more

This one star is only for their employees personalities. They are rude to me every time I've gone in there. I like their prices for their produce, but they look at me as if I shouldn't be shopping at their store, maybe it's because i'm a white american woman with blonde hair. Nice Caribbean market. The food in the deli was tasty. Had pernell with mixed rice. The coffee bar was okay, the favor of the coffee was a just ok. If you don't feel bbn like cooking drop in for the prepared food. read more

I will start with the Pros .... Pretty decent selection of produce appears to be very freshPretty decent selection of multicultural varieties of foods , snacks etc.... Cons .... Many employees don't or " state they don't speak English" annoying AF....I have three different lawyers were one specific spice was and they just kept telling me to go to the back of the store I would walk away, don't really think management cares as thi store is always busy due to their cultural loyalty but the negative customer service is a hard pill to swallow when you are use to Publix , also cashiers do not say hello unless your the same ethnicity and they are also if not they pretty much stay mute... just an observation Good luck getting any kind of help or assistance in this store but it is a cultural goldmine read more

I'm Visiting my mom for a week from California. We ran some errands and then stopped in to pick up some groceries. I love this store! It's not as clean and fancy as Safeway or Lucky. But there is so much more selection than any standard American grocery store. Where else are you going to find chicken feet, cantaloupes, and canned tomatoes under one roof? Great prices too. We bought a ton of fruits and veggies, snacks, and dry food items for $32. This same shopping trip would've cost me $45 at Safeway in CA. I plan on stopping in again before I leave to pick up some unique items to bring home. read more

Bravo has some of the great prices and fresh foods around. The atmosphere is very nice, and things are easy to find. By reading these comments I can assume I'm not the only one dealing with rude and disrespectful employees. Please don't stare or follow my family around as if we're thieves. I've spent a good amount of money in this store to cover all your wages. Please excuse my expression but this store is lucky enough not to have received any false accusation lawsuits yet. Please don't use me or my family as an "example for training" as you said you were. To all the people who have placed a review, it doesn't matter your race. Terrible customer service. Some of the employees can be so rude and snotty for no reason. An employee, assuming that I do not speak Spanish, made snide comments about me to another employee right in front of me. That drive to Presidente doesn't seem so bad after all! read more

Great supermarket . Cheaper prices on produce than other supermarkets around the area. Big selection of Hispanic products. But they also carry other common American brands. My go to place for produce aside from Aldi's. read more

They have a Restaurant, of sorts. Interesting Hispanic food store, good meat variety there. But they have a cafeteria type service. A HUGE burrito with all the trimmings for $2.50. The Large is best for two. All fresh made ingredients. Looks a little scary, not much English but really good. Try it! read more

Went there yesterday to pick up last minute item (baking powder). I could not find the item so asked the manager who was in the next aisle for assistance. He walked in front of me and then turned around pointing to his eyes and saying in barely coherent English "need glasses"? Then pointed to the item on the shelf. That's got to be the worst customer service I've ever experienced. I'll drive a little further next time to my neighborhood Walmart grocery store where it's a nice atmosphere and people are friendly. read more

I visited the store with my mom and aunts to have lunch there. while leaving, we encountered an employee (door station) who is in charge of making sure everything you take out is paid for. My mom was holding a carton of juice with a red label that said paid but the lady asked her in a rude way"where are you going with the juice" my mom told her it was paid and told her she would not take something without paying. The employee responded in a rude manner so I approached her to let her know she was rude and she responded the same way towards me. I told her I needed a manager and she just gave me her back and said whatever. I asked to talk to the manager but they claimed he wasn't there but minutes before we saw him walking around in the store. when we told them we knew he was there, they just said he left. Great selection of produce. Even if I cherry pick sales at other supermarkets, I always come to Bravo for the produce. The deli is outstanding. Decent prices on cold cuts and cheeses. Not a huge selection but they do have the basics.Now for the best part, the homemade hot meals are fantastic and inexpensive. If you show up for lunch, the crowd is standing three deep! That's how popular it is. If you love homemade Hispanic variety cooking, hit the deli up. They have tables and chairs to dine in or they can package for take out. This little deli is one of the area's best kept secrets. The grocery store itself is hit or miss when it comes to brand name prices but they have outstanding weekly sales. Store has rather a battered look and doesn't seem especially clean. They do stock specialty foods in more of a variety than the little Mom-and-Pop groceries in the area, although I'm a little disappointed that the variety of meats isn't greater and that the organ meats tend to be frozen. I don't know of anywhere else around here that stocks such things as sweetbreads or bull pizzle, though. Last visit they actually had at least one brand of real Seville-orange juice -- all major brands now are fake, and almost nobody stocks the real thing. read more
