Also, after the mask was applied, the esthetician left the room without letting me know she was done or when she would be coming back, so I ended up laying there for over 15 minutes unsure of what was happening. I asked for honey color highlights and i said that because my hair is damaged the color (foils) takes very fast. The foils were left for close to 40 minutes. She then had to use a toner because my highlight were too light. Now with the toner you can hardly even notice i have highlights. The color for my gray roots was left on for only 10 min. When i questioned why its ont on longer she said they are European colors and only need 10 min to cover the gray roots. She said she also added a treatment for the color to last longer. Now one week later I see gray all over my head. The cost was $350 and with tip over $400. That is a lot of $ to not be happy

Although their price list is a bit more expensive than I'm used to, I booked an appointment anyway because new customers get 30% off. Street parking is hilariously easy compared to the Bayside/Flushing salons I'm used to frequenting. My technician determined that an oval lash map would suit my eye shape best. I decided on a C14 mink set, and was guided into a private area closed off from other customers by actual walls rather than thin curtains. The bed was so comfortable, I fell asleep within a few minutes of starting! Halfway through both eyes, she removed the tapes and gave me a mirror to confirm that I liked how it looked so far. The rest of the appointment went by quickly, it only took about an hour total to apply 110 pieces per eye. As a testament to their work's longevity, ZERO pieces fell out during the first week and they still looked good (slightly thinner, minimal gapping) 3 weeks later when I came back for my fill. Definitely choose mink over silk, it's longer lasting due to how lightweight and soft they are!
