Maggie my lovely MAGGIE! Ok, I have nothing bad to say about Maggie or about her spa or service. What are you waiting for and call to set up an appt! You need an appointment, Maggie is the one running the show so she can't do walk ins. I come to Maggie for Brazilians , she is amazing! She uses a honey organic wax to wax which means for the main part there are no cloth strips she only uses them for the end of the wax to clean it up. Of course there is no double dipping which is what you ladies need to be looking for ! She is professional and very sweet. I've been going to her for a couple of years now and I'm located in Suffolk county, 45 mins from her but she's my girl so I gotta go to her. She is also very affordable ! Other waxing centers charge up to 55$ for a Brazilian and it's in a bright room that reminds you of a doctors office. The rooms in Maggie's spa have a soft light and she uses the bright light only on the area being treated which makes you feel more comfortable. I highly recommend her for any first timers out there. (From personal experience, it does help when the hair is shorter, not like a couple of days after shaving short but not a month long either) I have only experienced her Brazilians but she also does facials, full body waxing and tanning sessions, also eyelash extensions. Maggie is Wonder Woman, she does it all. For your first time , your Brazilian is 25$ which is a steal! After that, you get a rewards card so if you pay with cash it is 40$ and you get your card punched, once you reach like your 8th time you get a service for free! Boo yah! I came here for a bikini wax, and it was my first time getting a bikini was so I had no idea what to expect except a painful experience, but Maggie made my first time great! I had called earlier that day for an appointment on the same day. She was accommodating to take me at the time I was available. The salon is actually a little hard to locate since it is not the address the GPS brings you to-it is located off the side of Plandome Road. Inside the salon, it is very zen like. It has a dark, comfortable atmosphere with nature music playing. Maggie asked me to fill out a quick form, which asked me about my previous waxing experience and just some medical questions as well. I thought this was great for her to be able to know how to give me a personalized waxing experience. In the room, a little box was provided to store my clothes and belongings. Maggie gave me 5 minutes to get ready. Everything in the room looked sanitary. Overall, the bikini wax was great and as painless as it could be. It took about 15-20 mins. Maggie does not double dip!! She warned me what areas would be the most painful beforehand, but did the waxing experience as quickly yet thoroughly as possible. She was very conversational so that definitely provided a point of distraction from the pain. I had originally heard about the salon through Groupon, but Maggie provides the same price for first timers at the salon without the Groupon. She also has a rewards program that allows you to get bikini waxes for $40.00 in cash five times and your sixth one is free. I will definitely be going back to this salon for bikini waxes! read more

I first came here because of a Groupon for a Brazilian wax. The staff was very professional, and all the equipment was clean. They dip a new stick every time. The room was comfortable, and the results got me coming back. I was given a stamp card, so every time I get a wax it is $39+tip. I found an ad for an eyelash perm via Groupon and i'm never going back to lash extensions ever again! Naturally, my eyelashes are very straight and never hold a curl with an eyelash curler. I forget the name of my specialist, but she was really sweet and very honest. I will admit I was a little nervous at first. Over the phone, the specialist gave me a disclaimer that because of the nature of my eyelashes, the perm may not work, but because of the affordable groupon price, I was willing to take the risk. She explained to me the process step by step. After around an hour or so, my straight, and what i thought were short lashes, were now long and beautifully curled. It's been around 4 weeks, and my lashes are still the same as day 1. Even without the groupon, the normal prices are comparable to even salons in queens. Definitely am coming back! read more

The woman did not know what she was doing and my lashes were so over permed that they all bent backwards and were extremely uneven with my other eye. I've been coming to Oasis for the past 2 years or so and I literally can't go anywhere else. Maggie's shop is just her so it's very cozy and warm, definitely a really calm and soothing environment! I've been to EWC and tried other places in the past for Brazilians, however, Maggie's procedure is hands down the most painless and has the longest lasting results for me personally. There is a cash discount and she gives you a stamp card which you check off with each visit, so for the price it's more than worth it. Despite the hiatus she took in the past due to health reasons and closing due to COVID, I've continued to seek her services because I find them to be that good and can't find the same results anywhere else for such an amazing price! Please stay far away from this place. I live in the area so I went here for a bikini wax. The lady that worked there, Maggie, asked me to fill out a 3 page form and sign several disclaimers. I asked if the wax would be "painless" as advertised and she said "painless mean less pain, not pain-free". Umm, ok. She shows me into a room that did have the white paper sheet on the bed but with old, dirty white towels that she said I can use to cover myself with. The waxing itself was very painful and burned (the burning lasted days after the procedure). In the middle of the wax, an Asian man that was sitting outside in the waiting area actually opened the door and came in, saw us and then walked back out! I asked if that was her husband and she said it was her brother (?). Needless to say, never going back here again. read more

I've been coming here for a while and this place needs a shout out. I love the service I get every time I'm here. I get Brazilian waxed by Maggie and she does a great job every time. Nothing will stop it from hurting but she is able to do it very quickly and minimize the amount of time spent in pain. She is also very accommodating when making appointments. If I could give this place zero stars I would. Sadly, I never even got to make an appointment because this company refused to accept the amount I paid to Groupon for a service. This place is a scam!! According to the Groupon website, even if your Groupon expires before you get to use it, the money you paid is still valid towards a service, you just pay off the difference. That being said, I paid $65 towards a service via Groupon for a facial treatment. Unfortunately, my Groupon expired, but I still have a $65 credit towards a service at this salon according to Groupon's policy. Meaning, let's say I get a $40 facial. The $65 I spent covers the cost of that facial (excluding tip). If I get a $75 facial, then the Groupon covers up to $65, then I pay off the $10 difference and any taxes/tip. When I called Oasis to make an appointment, I explained the Groupon and the woman refused to accept it and said it was worth nothing because it expired and claimed she knows the coupon policy. Clearly not! I called Groupon to confirm and they said I do indeed have a $65 credit towards the salon. I have since filed a complaint with Groupon about this salon and they are working to refund me the money I spent. Use this place with caution should you decide to get a service done here. I had a really bad experience a few months ago where I went for eyebrow waxing and the spa lady, MAGGIE, she literally pulled off my skin! At first I thought the pain was just an after effect that was temporary... But then it continues to hurt for hours. I looked in the mirror and realized my eyelid looked so RAW, INFLAMED AND INJURED! I even have pictures to prove it. And when i called to ask what I should do, and MAGGIE told me to put milk on it! WHAT KIND OF ADVICE IS THAT! It was so embarrassing to be in public. First time getting a Brazilian. I felt very comfortable and welcomed. I do not recall the woman's name but she was very nice and understanding about how uncomfortable I initially was! A few minutes into it, all was fine. Everything was clean. Clearly I'm not posting before and after pics, ladies, (lol) but I'll just say it feels amazingly smooth and I will most definitely muster up the courage to get it done again next month. She said first timers feel the most pain but next time around..it won't be as bad. My skin was red and hot..hot! To the touch...For about an hour afterwards. But that soon went away. And I was left with smooth, smooooth results. Love it! She also applied this cooling lotion which was thoughtful and nice. They have a groupon but don't bother if it's your first time there. You can get the same discount and save money on the taxes by just walking in as a first time client. It's $25 (for your first time wax only, as opposed to $65.) After that, you will get a discount card. So instead of paying the original $65, you'll pay $38 per session. your sixth Brazilian is free. Not bad! Updated review just to let you ladies know...I have very minimal hair growth, even a month later and I will ONLY do Brazilian from this point on! Had a horrible experience with the eyelash perm. My lashes were still sticky after leaving the salon (from the product), was told it would go away with after washing my face but it did not. It took a few days for my lashes to feel normal again. I've gotten eyelash perms before, and this has never happened- I usually leave the salon with soft and clean lashes. Within the next few days, my lashes were going in all different directions. It's been at least a month and they just look worse each day. Maggie doesn't seem to have very much experienced with the eyelashes. So disappointed and can't wait for my lashes to get back to normal so I can get them done at a more experienced salon. read more

My search for a clean, affordable place to get my brazilian wax done has come to a stop!!! My previous waxer's schedule was not as flexible so I was forced to search for a new place. It wasn't until I went on groupon and found an awesome deal for Oasis Organic Beauty Spa. I figured it couldn't hurt to give it a try. That's when I met Paul and Maggie. Paul was extremely friendly and helpful in providing pricing information and arranging my appointment with Maggie. Maggie was also extremely nice and provided an adequate amount of background information regarding the products she was going to use which allowed me to fully trust in her. Any woman who already gets brazilian waxed will immediately feel the difference in quality of wax. My previous waxer would use a wax that I felt pulled my hairs and skin and left my sensitive skin extremely irritated. I thought this was normal. Maggie told me that she refuses to use any wax that is less than great quality and what she used proved it! Maggie used a wax that is extremely high quality that I felt only pulled my hairs. Not only that, but the level of redness on my sensitive skin was little to none! After years of getting brazilian waxed, I've never met someone who was so focused and took their time to ensure absolute smoothness. Before going to Maggie, the amount of hairs that grew back after waxing was about the same. After going to Maggie, I noticed that a significantly less amount of hairs grew back AND there were fewer ingrown hairs. A friend of mine who came with me and got her brazilian wax done with Maggie also said the same so I know I'm not imagining this. Okay so I come home from school for the summer and I needed a new place to go to get my Brazilian was. I've been to multiple places that just wowed me enough to go back. HOWEVER this place was AMAZING. Maggie is beyond nice. She kept the convo going with me throughout the whole session. Checked in a few times to make sure I was OK. And the whole procedure was great and PAINLESS. Now I have a higher pain tolerance and I have been waxing for almost 2 years so maybe it was just me. But this is the first time going to get waxed that I did not feel any excruciating pain. The wax she uses is organic and is a hard wax which she peels off. She doesn't reuse the same stick twice. And she uses a different wax at the end to make sure whatever if remaining, is taken off. She is thorough. She took her time (bout 20 mins or so) and everything was out. Did not see a single hair there when i went to inspect afterwards. I was so impressed with the service and I cannot wait to go back for another wax ! P.S -- her salon is clean!!!!! read more

Got a $25 summer deal for a Brazilian wax and I couldn't be any happier. I thought I had an appointment at 7:30, but it was actually a 5:30 one. Even though I showed up 30 minutes before closing, the nice gentleman at the desk said they will still take me. Maggie was great! Like the other reviews said she was efficient and helpful. She gave tips on aftercare and made small talk to ease the pain. She would always make sure that I was comfortable and not in pain. Went to this place because the reviews were good and I used a Groupon special for eyelash perm. The place was clean and nice, the woman Maggie was also very nice. The service she provided me was HORRIBLE! Whatever she put on my eyes burned, transferred to my lower lashes and now my lower lashes are permed up too. She said it was my fault because I closed my eyes too hard. She didn't explain ANYTHING! She just did it. Now my lashes look so bad. I hope they grow out fast.
