The women here are kind, but that's about the only good thing I can say. I honestly don't know if they're inexperienced or just have never worked with a Black woman's curves before, but not one, not two, but three of my dresses were completely botched. I also had a top altered and it came back lopsided. After the first round of alterations, the owner tried to gaslight me, saying they had only adjusted the strap for my burgundy dress (which was never the main issue). I initially asked for the sides to be taken in because the bust area was too big, but somehow, that got lost in translation. So I paid AGAIN, for all to be fixed and what I got back was even worse. Everything felt rushed, uneven, and downright sloppy. I bawled my eyes out because these dresses were meant for my birthday trip. The white dress? It was the most horrendous one, imagine the outline of Sarah Baartman on a modern-day garment. That's how distorted the shape was. Even after a third attempt, the seams were still crooked and the dress was unwearable. I'm now left dressless for my trip and out of money. If I could give this place zero stars, I would.

We tried talking to them during the process, but they were rude telling her to tell me to go in because a modesty panel was not doable. The seamstress that did my wedding dress made one beautifully and even added a zipper. Other places make them all the time. They are a low-skill alteration fix. The dress was fixed as best as possible by my new seamstress who is near me. Thank God I didn't bring them (Joshuas) my wedding gown! As you can see in the pictures, the dress fit crooked and the modesty panel? If you could call it that. Anyone could've done a better job. Overpriced and horrible work. Save your money!

Today, I first went to the Ocean state laundry mat which is closer to my hotel. The prices started at 6.75 for a machine. Nope! The machines here start at $3.50 and works up to the most I think $6 large. The sign out front (see picture) should get removed because there is definitely a wait as I estimate at least 40% of the machines are out of order. It also mentions AC but ummm it's extremely hot. They do have multiple fans around the room though but it pushes the heat around. If they close the blinds there is a small relief from the sun (which one lady did). There are vending machines for snacks, washing supplies and change machine. The dryer's work well so no need to do more than 20 minutes unless you have heavy clothing. They have a service to wash, dry, and fold your laundry as well if you are short on time. There is wifi although I didn't use it. Also they dry clean uniforms. Overall I'm satisfied.
