When I got home, I noticed on my receipt that I was charged a "credit card convenience fee" of $3.04. I was unaware that retail stores had started implementing this fee, similar to some restaurants that charge a fee for credit card payments unless you pay in cash. I hope this doesn't become a widespread trend among retail stores.
