Took significantly longer than I was told. I went in early October to have my car fixed. I was told it would take about 2 weeks, it took almost 2 months. I did not end up getting my car back until late November and it still wasn't fixed completely. They took forever to get the part they missed and my car was not completely finished until January (last fix only took a few hours, I waited to take it back in because I worried they wouldn't have the part they said they ordered, would take longer than they said, would mess it up, or would find more issues). Don't expect to get your car back when they tell you. They also are incompetent when it comes to dealing with uncommon insurance companies. I asked them to get in contact with the insurance company (providing them with documents, email address, and a phone number). After weeks they said they still hadn't hear from them, so I personally called and they picked up immediately and dealt with the situation (I don't think the collision center even bothered to try calling). read more

Took my car here when it was in a wreck. Took three weeks to get back. Also when I got it back I started noticing things. The bumper was not put in all they way, the back taillight had a big gap and front bumper missing part. Pulse it now makes a loud growling noise when you run the heater from the fan. Horrible communication from the start. Was told I would get a confirmation call the week in advance - never received it so they weren't ready the day I took my car in for a hail damage claim. Gilbert has only called me one time in nearly 3 weeks. I have had to initiate EVERYTHING on finding out the status of my car. Heading into week 3 and no car. Called Gilbert today and was told "I'll go check outside and get right back to you." No return call. It is beyond aggravating when nobody will tell you the status of your car other than "we're closed on the 4th." That shows where their priorities are, with themselves, not the customer. I feel I am being taken advantage of and will take further action to ensure my car is safely repaired even if that requires legal action. read more

Repaired our car based on Allstate claims service. Mainly cosmetic damage. Took the car there with working blinkers, received the car back with broken blinkers. They said it was my problem as a result of the collision....but it wasn't there before. Have a friend that is a mechanic and he looked at the blinker area and said he is 100% sure that the mechanics at BV Collision cut the cords to the blinker. He replaced it for relatively cheap. BV Collision said Allstate would not cover the damages to the blinker...which does not make sense because the damage "happened during the wreck." The truth is that the insurance company would have noticed that the damages happened after the fact at the collision center and not due to the wreck. That is why it would not be covered. Instead BV Collision attempted to charge me $300 for the repairs. Also, I submitted a bad review of this company and they had the nerve to tell me and to take my review back because it was "not fair." What kind of juvenile fly-by-night company is this? Scared of actual truthful criticism? I will never patronize this place again and I tell everybody to avoid this place. I have the facts on my side and this was a learning experience. Deceptive practices and shoddy work do not make a great company. I am submitting a complaint to the BBB as well. No humor in this review because this place sucks so much. read more

This review has nothing to do with their repair work, though it may after I see it. My husband took his vehicle there after he was hit by an 18-wheeler. He asked, when he dropped the vehicle off, that the frame be checked as there was a "gap" between the front and rear doors after the collision. He had to remind them several times when he was updated via E-mail of the repair progress. Yesterday, he was told they'd check the frame AFTER all the repair was done and they were aligning the tires. Okay, makes no sense, but whatever. He got an e-mail just before noon today that the vehicle would be ready today. During the afternoon, he checked a couple of times since it is Friday afternoon and we are leaving town in the early morning tomorrow. Finally, just before four, he was advised that the vehicle would be ready before five. He rushed the 35 miles to the Enterprise office to turn in the rental vehicle, then called again to insure that his car was ready and was again told yes. He turned in the rental car and they dropped him off at BVCC before 5. He saw a similar make and model outside as they were locking up and leaving. He walked out to the vehicle and realized it wasn't his. He caught some of the workers as they were driving out. They assured him they could have his vehicle ready in 30 minutes, but first, they had to go find the shop employee who took the vehicle keys home!!!!!! It's now 645 and he's just now leaving. We'll inspect the vehicle tomorrow afternoon when we get home. (definitely NOT taking a vehicle we've not thoroughly inspected). What poor customer service!!! He's attempted to contact the customer service rep and one of the "bosses", of course nobody is answering the phone on Friday night. I'll update after we inspect the repairs. A lady backed into our car with one of those nasty hitches on her truck and did the front in surprisingly bad. Insurance recommended this place. I thought they were great. TC took care of everything. Car looks great. Kind of wish someone would hit the back end (and I catch them doing it) so that can get fixed too. Why do people love to hit my car and never leave messages? I can not say enough about how great my experience with Brazos Valley Collision was. Gilbert, the man assigned to my car, was the sweetest, most helpful guy. Being a young college girl I was not sure of everything I needed to do when I accident scrapped my car against a boulder. He walked me through everything. My car was there for about two weeks and he answered all the questions I had and kept me updated. There were a few problems with incorrect parts that came in, but they were sure to fix the problem promptly and still get everything done. I was having to pay for a rental car out of pocket and when the repair got delayed they offered to let me drive a loaner they had. This was a God sent because it saved me a lot of time, money, and hassle. Then, two weeks later, I had a small child scratch my car with a piece of wood. Gilbert was able to take my car for only one day and had all the scratches polished out when another place said they could get only about 80% out for $200! They even washed and vacuumed my car when it was all done with. I would highly recommend anyone go here if they are in need of body work. All of the people I interacted with were amazing and although my situation was not the best, Gilbert and the staff made it better in the end. read more

I took my Camaro in to get the bottom of my front bumper replaced. I had already bought all the parts needed for the install and all I needed was someone to put it on. I went in and talked to Moe and he said he could have it done by the next day in the evening time. So it comes down to about 4:30pm that next day (they close at 5) and I have to call them and he says that they need another part to fix the bumper. I don't know when he would've called me to notify me about this but I went ahead and said ok that's fine when can you have it done and he assured me that they would have the part in by the next day sometime between 1 and 3 and that they would have the car done by 5. Well here comes the next day and sure enough I give them a call at 4pm asking for an update on my car and he tells me the part had come in 20 minutes ago and that they were working on it and he'd give me a call back. So I hang up and about 10 minutes later he does give me a call back only to tell me that they hadn't received the part and assured me again they would have it done tomorrow. So of course the next day I call and I get put on hold so I hang up and head up to the collision center only to find out that the piece that was somewhat broken could be fixed by simply putting a screw in it. This is exactly what happened and I personally would not recommend them because I feel they take on way too many jobs. Way more than they can handle. read more

Took my truck here after an accident and the repairs were made, but had to take it back to fix a loud obvious grinding. Also had more damage done to my truck while it was there. There were scratches on the front and back as well as cracks in my windshield. I honestly have no idea how they are a preferred repair place for my insurance because the work was awful. DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE! I wrecked my truck on November 3rd. The front end was damaged including the fenders, hood, grille, grille guard, radiator, condenser, intercooler, and core support. I had it towed to Brazos Valley Collision where it took over a month to be "ready." I live over an hour away and work two hours away, but I made almost weekly trips up to their shop, had friends go by there, and called. Moe (the owner) would always tell me he would call with information, but I would always have to call them. He told me it would be ready on Saturday, December 12th, then he said Monday the 13th. I made arrangements with work to pick up the truck on Monday, but it wasn't ready. He said it would be Tuesday (the 14th). I called around 1 PM and he acted like the truck wasn't going to b ready that day. He then said 5:30, which was after they closed. I got up there at 4:30 and they were still working on the truck. By the time I saw the truck, it was getting dark and I was checking over the mechanical aspect of it. The high beams were stuck on, but I had assumed they wired my HIDs wrong. The ac compressor didn't kick on, so they pulled the truck back around and charged it. I could hear them in the back revving the truck unnecessarily, but I didn't say anything. I pulled the truck out on the road and knew something was wrong. My EGTs were high, the truck had no power, and there was a loud air noise. I pull the truck back in and see they didn't tighten the intercooler boots and they had blown off. I fixed that in their parking lot myself. The next day, I drove the truck to work and noticed the body lines were horrible, the grille was held on by zip ties, the wrong coolant was added, and they had gouged my new headlights. I took it back on Saturday and they were supposed to fix it. Fast forward to this Saturday, I pick up the truck. There were scratches in the clearcoat, one of the fender flares was still installed wrong. The high beams were still stuck on and the coolant hadn't been changed. Moe tries to pull the truck around with my parking brake stuck on and almost stalls it several times until I run over and pop the parking brake. They "fix" the clearcoat and head lights and I just decide to cut my losses; the truck won't be getting any better with those idiots. I get home and change out the headlight bulbs. They had hacked up my HID harnesses, lost one of the bolts and clips to the headlight, lost a locking ring on the housing and epoxied in the bulb. My front axle vent tube was left hanging, the block heater plug was thrown in the engine bay, the battery terminals weren't tightened causing my programmer to throw codes and my lift pump to intermittently stop working. They grounded both the positive and negative terminals of my winch harness to the frame. The bumper bolts were barely hand tight and one of the bolts wasn't even installed through the frame. I am very dissatisfied with their "service." DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE THERE. They are incompetent crooks. read more

The service I received here was HORRIBLE. When I picked up my car, there were damages that were not there when I dropped it off. (broken passenger seatbelt-NOT caused by the wreck I was in, and messed up paint) I brought it in the next morning, and Fransisco was very nice, ordered the new seatbelt that I needed, and promised to fix the rest. He told me when the part would come in, and what day would be best for me to bring my car in. A few days later, I brought my car back in, and Fransisco was nowhere to be found. Gilbert was EXTREMELY rude to me about the whole situation, and accused me of lying about the damages. As soon as my dad showed up, Gilbert's whole attitude changed. He apologized about the car to my dad, offered to fix everything, and said that I was "simply overreacting" about how rude he was to be before he got there. I do not appreciate the way I was treated after we had spent so much money there, and know that I would have been treated with more respect if I were not a young, teenage girl there alone. I would rather drive around my wrecked car than deal with this company again. read more

I got into a wreck in my jeep. The front left part of car was pretty messed up. I decided to take it to this body shop because when I was dealing with my insurance company, which happens to be in the same building as the body shop, a man by the name of Moe approached me. He told me he could get my car fixed quickly while providing great service. It took them an entire month to fix my car. When I get got my jeep back FINALLY, the work done on my jeep was so poor. They insisted it was because I had after market parts. My argument was that it shouldn't matter what type of parts, the quality of the work needs to be up to par. Moe was reluctant but he took my car back and fixed it. A week later he told me it was finished. When I went to pick my car up, part of the headlight was missing. I couldn't believe it. They even tried telling me it wasn't missing! They tried to swindle me left and right. Bravos Collision Center also bought unnecessary parts for my car which leads me to believe Moe is also swindling the insurance company. I would not recommend spending your money and wasting your time on this unprofessional business. read more

Two words come to mind with Brazos Valley Collision (BVC): Garbage and a Rip-Off. I have been with Allstate 38 years. In 2015 the rear window of my truck was knocked loose when it was hit by a piece of debris. I filed a claim and the rear window was replaced. However, my carpets remained wet, so I took my truck to two very good auto repair shops to have it checked for water leaks, both garages discovered that the seal around the rear window that had been replaced still continued to leak. The glass company honored their warranty and replaced the window for me. However the carpets were now stained, and seemed ruined. I filed another claim, this time for the damaged carpets, with Allstate. I was directed to take the vehicle to Brazos Valley Collision, a body shop at the edge of town and 8 miles from my house for an appraisal. When I got there I discovered that Allstate has three employees there along with other insurance providers, who are provided free office space. Gilbert the general manager owns 20% of this racket. The Allstate appraiser, informed me of the capabilities available at BVC, that BVC was considered a "preferred service provider" (by Allstate, et al), that free transportation would be provided for me to drop off and when I picked the truck back up and that every two days I would receive a status update via telephone call informing me of the progress of my vehicle. I also could have rented a car for thirty days at the expense of Allstate, but declined since I have another vehicle. I dropped my truck off on January 19, 2016, expecting it back no later than January 26th. On Jan 29th, I was informed it would be ready on Feb 2. Again no one called and I drove to BVC only to discover that they had found alleged body damage. More than that, Gilbert and David Holland with Allstate had opened a claim in my name without my knowledge; Gilbert refused to show me the alleged damage but told me that Brian Garret with Allstate from Dallas had to speak with me about the claim. To make a long story short, Garrett was conveniently unavailable so I finally called the main number for Allstate who directed me to Garretts colleague, a female, who informed me that a 'supplement claim had been filed and that "Allstate approved everything" She then asked if it was all right for BVC to do the Body work and I said that it was. I was then sent a survey to fill out. The next day Brain Garret called to tell me the claim had been denied and that all the Allstate Insurance Company phones in Dallas had been out of service for four days. Again I drove to BVC, this time Gilbert was nasty telling me the claim, opened without my knowledge had been denied but that he would do the body work for $307 however he now claimed the light behind the cab was bad (false!) and that it would take from $500 to $900 to do the necessary repairs. I told him to put my truck together, not do anything to it except what Allstate had paid for and to let me know when to pick it up; this was on Friday, Feb 5, 2016. I finally got my truck on Feb 16, 2016, even though I had told Gilbert not to do anything to it he had gooped something on the back that he claimed was repairs for a leak that he would never show me. He had even removed the perfectly good rear light that I told him to leave alone. The carpets look like trash, they are stained and look bleached out. there is even a hole in the carpet on the drivers side. I discovered that Allstate shows on their records (falsely) that I requested two claims, tha "David Holland " had denied the first and "Fred Holland" had denied the second David and Fred Holland are he same person. I paid BVC $307.00 by certified check but I might sue Brazos Valley Collision is a rip off; do not use them. I took my truck to a different body shop where they had to keep it inside because Gilbert had removed the perfectly good rear light that I had told him not to touch. I do not think it is legal for Allstate or any other Insurance provider to accept free office space in return for steering clients to this racket. when I complained bitterly to Gilbert that not one of my twenty calls had been returned, which was the inducement for me to leave my vehicle there, he actually replied that he had "70 other vehicles to worry about" and therefore was not concerned about returning my calls. If anyone ever takes this swindler to court, I will testify on their behalf gratis. The resolution of my claim was nothing but garbage and a swindle. If I stay with Allstate or go with another insurance company, I will steadfastly refuse to do any business with them for an appraisal or anything else at the BVC location. I want this swindle stopped and strictly prohibited. If Allstate does not replace the carpets in my vehicle I am through with them and after 38 years of being a loyal customer.
