    Soft dinner roll
    Denae G.

Thanksgiving pre-order review - we ordered two cranberry walnut loaves and three packs of soft dinner rolls The cran walnut loaf was mouth watering. The crunch of the walnut paired with the fluffy bread and soft cranberries is truly the perfect combination. A MUST try! The soft dinner rolls were also good and provided a more 'traditional' roll Bread Bike was ready to go with the order right at the designated time and staff was very friendly Perfect addition to a Thanksgiving feast! Thank you, Bread Bike! Chefs kiss!

Great array of pastries! It smells amazing in there too. Unfortunately I didn't love the blueberry lemon scone. It was a bit more crumbly and dry than I would have liked.

I have had many of Bread Bikes' items. I enjoy their sourdough bread, chocolate croissant, and especially their pretzel. The pretzel is my favorite. For a while now, I have wanted to try their pizza on Wednesday nights. I ordered online and went in to pick it up. I tried to ask a staff member, but she just walked past me multiple times. No one asked me if I needed help or anything. When my pizza was ready, they didn't even call my name. I had to go up and look for my name. Unfortunately, I found the staff very off-putting and rude. I understand that it's busy, but the woman at the cashier had an attitude when I asked her a question. I got my pizza on time and even got a thick slice of pizza to try. I did not like the pizza at all. The thick slice was better than the whole pizza, but I would have to say it was one of the worst I've ever had. 0*'s for pizza 4* for Pretzel 3* for sourdough bread 2* for chocolate croissant

    Chocolate chip cookie

Chocolate chip cookie - 5 stars. Bought two, and they were both delicious. Nice crust on the edge and soft in the middle. Sea salt on top, with the right amount of chocolate - wish I had another one right now. Country loaf - 4 stars. It's good, but, I think it's all preference. I wish it was just a simple sourdough. Maybe it's the proving that makes it a bit doughy, not sure. It did have a nice crust ok it. But, overall, not a bad loaf, just not my favorite.

I was just traveling through SLO as I make my way up to the Redwoods & Oregon, and WOWWWWW this place is making me wanna camp an extra day by here. Being a SoCal resident I have gone to a multitude of unique bakeries, but this one really sticks out. For starters stellar graphic design l. The stickers and posters throughout the store add so much color & life (especially that mermaid cowgirl lol). And I applaud the use of organic ingredients + straus milk (best milk). The crossaint ham & cheese having dijon mustard was a subtle but nice touch too, def added way more flavor vs the standard. The baristas were also super attentive + friendly and def loved the strides their baked goods & lattes take too. Can't wait to come back for more next time I'm making my way thru

Our favorite local bakery here in SLO! The kindest staff with the homiest location tucked away a bit on Parker Street. We absolutely love their variety of fresh breads that we take home for sandwiches most weeks. Special shout out to their chai spiced morning bun, their pull apart monkey bread (back in the day), Thanksgiving and Holiday seasonal specials (incredible handmade pecan pies and soft dinner rolls!!), their smattering of rotating scones, and the local Cacti Coffee (drip/bags to go) they also carry in their store. Tons of other great items offered that I did not list as well! We especially love visiting for their Pizza Wednesday's over the Summer which feature live music and is a great scene for locals and their families! Tons of fun to hang at and equally amazing to take home for takeout as well. Sam and Matt and their entire team at Bread Bike have worked tirelessly to create a gem of a bakery here in SLO that we and many Slocals are so fortunate to have in our daily lives! Make sure to support them at both their shop on Parker and at the SLO county farmer's markets they frequent as a vendor, you won't regret it!

A wonderful bakery with fresh, delicious food and excellent service! We're visiting the area as tourists, and this was one of our favorite stops. We tried the quiche, sesame bread, and Americano, and everything was fresh and delicious. . The atmosphere was warm and cozy. The lady who took our order was kind and welcoming. If we lived nearby, this would definitely be one of our regular spots. Highly recommend!

Delicious!! I like to get their sourdough loaves at the Farmer's Market. They sell a couple goodies there & you are even able to buy with EBT tokens during Farmers. Not so sure about in store. I didn't visit the shop itself until recently and I had an overall good experience. It is very cute spot, but little seating indoors. There is some outdoor seating. My experience with the employees in shop have been great. The pastries are a little expensive, but it is all freshly made and are absolutely delicious. Wish I visited this place sooner since I am no longer living in SLO!! Was craving this place after I moved and of course had to get it when I visited again.

Discovered this amazing bakery in SLO, and they have coffee too! Super chill vibe here. Easy parking out front is a plus.

    Almond croissant! Get this!

I experienced Bread Bike bakery goods at a farmers market in Cambria, California. Their almond croissants were absolutely flaky light, delicious, and filled with just the right amount of filling! Their other baked goods looked delicious as well.

He even incorporated marzipan into the batter--yet the cake still came out so light and fluffy! The flavor was rich, subtle, and totally unforgettable. The decoration was simple, elegant, and exactly what we hoped for. I provided the flowers I wanted, and Chef Gonzalo arranged them beautifully. Guests at our party couldn't stop talking about the cake! Even people who usually don't like cake came up to say how amazing it was. It truly became the highlight of the evening. Both times I got a hot vanilla bean latte with two extra shots and it was perfection. Literally no complaints. My boyfriend got an iced americano the first day and tried a hot golden mylk on the second day. He also enjoyed his drinks! The golden mylk is a perfect cold day drink that will make you feel warm and cozy inside. We also had the chance to try their pastries and got an almond croissant with jelly and a goat cheese and roasted leak scone. Im not the biggest fan of jelly filled pastries, but this one was actually really good. It paired well with the crispy exterior and not too sweet. I really enjoyed it! The goat cheese and roasted leak definitely had complimenting flavors, but it wasn't his favorite scone he has. He wished there was more goat cheese versus it just being on top. When is SLO, I will be back!

Their house-brand HONEYCO is paying above fair-trade prices for beans & using a proprietary roasting process to create some clever blends like MATTE BLACK DARK ROAST and the delicious for everyday CLASSIC ESPRESSO (freshly ground for in-house coffee drinks, along with a water-processed DECAF). Choose your favorite + original housemaid syrups (WILDERNESS w citrus, maple; SUNSHINE w citrus, cinnamon; UNITY w lavender, honey). When rating this high, I'm considering food (pastries) in addition to coffee/practices and service/ambiance, and this spot knocks it out of the park on all counts. The CORTADO (coffee-forward) is medium-roast, savory & balanced. A LAVENDER LATTE is gently floral, not too sweet, still coffee-focused. The CAPPUCCINO is comforting, a prime American version of the classic. Pastries go quickly, and I'm coming back time after time for the DARK CHOCOLATE RASPBERRY SCONE - large hunks of chocolate with tart raspberry in a doughy scone, crowned in rock sugar. They're also serving a signature SCOUT COOKIE - like the Doubletree recipe (warmed on request). It's an absolute DESTINATION location with light, bright workspace indoors, lots of tables outdoors (78% chance of sun, any day of the year here!). They have 3 locations total, although Gianna, Andrés, and Mya are friendly faces to make returning to SLO my preference. Like most of their peers, you can enjoy it here, pick-up, or ship by subscription. They also have some very cool HATS and 10% off BOOKS while they last!

I'd go back to try their other pies and hand pies. Feeding the sheep, cow, goats and llamas $3 a head lettuce was so fun! The animals loooove eating the lettuce and it's an enjoyable experience for kids and adults alike. The fields with bales of hay to climb and pose on and also the flower fields to walk around in was also nice too! There was a hay ride, but we were not able to make it-- maybe next time.
