Bread by Johnny is that spot that you go to once, and just think about forever. Bread is one of those staple food items you take for grated, but once you have the best it's hard to go back. This shop is located in a very nice and clean plaza. It's simple and organized. The workers wear masks, and one group at a time in the shop. Since I live an hour away I've only gotten to go 2 times. First time I went I got the cinnamon raisin. Store bought bread had nothing on this. It had the perfect crust and the most amazing sweet inside. I ate it with just butter and oh boy was it good. The second time I came and purchased the Calabrian chili cheese and prosciutto breads. Both Saturday specials. The Calabrian chili cheese is absolutely fantastic! It has a nice bite, and once toasted I feel it became at its best. The prosciutto had little bits of meat in the bread. Which was such a great surprise. It's the perfect bread do a nice cheese platter. We got to talk to Johnny himself and he was so kind and attentive. Answered all our questions and showed so much knowledge about these amazing breads. I can't wait to come here again when I'm in the Jupiter area. Wish I was a local so I could be a regular and get this bread every week!! read more

The bread here is absolutely delicious. I came here on a Sunday and was helped by Johnny. He provided friendly and quick service. He even threw in a small loaf of the cinnamon raisin bread. I ordered the baguette, prosciutto bread, and cinnamon raisin bread. They were all good and the best was the cinnamon raisin. Full of raisins and had a really good taste. It was the first time we had tried this place and we just ripped into the small loaf on the ride back home. I did get sticker shock when it came time to pay. I love everything about this place. The vibe is so full of love for the craft of making delicious bread. It is simple, honest, and delicious! The bread may be a little pricey, but it is worth every damn penny! We tried the cinnamon raisin which was full of fruit and flavor, dense and chewy, and just gorgeous. Also tried the focaccia and the baguette which they don't call a baguette, but I can't remember the name at the moment--pane something--and they were both amazing. The focaccia has a sprinkling of sea salt on top that is such a lovely addition...my kids thought it was too salty but I did not. Can't wait to try the rest of the breads! This is THE BEST bread store I have ever been too. All breads made with a sourdough starter (especially good for diabetics). Crusty & moist. I only wish they had a bread slicer. So good! I drove from west palm and got the sesame bread and the whole grain! It's good with butter toasted in the AM I'm a nurse so I brought a loaf to work for the night shift nurses while we play cards ! This shop with all hand made breads is a must! It's REAL bread made with care and flavors not found everywhere. If you demand the best in life, this is the place for you! My only regret is that a bread I bought on my first visit is rarely available. Johnny says it's one of his special Holiday breads. Phenomenal is the only word to describe Johnny's breads. My staples have always been his Chilean cheese bread and his Brooklyn rye, but yesterday I tried his cinnamon raisin bread and I was bowled over with its balance flavor or generous raisins and just the right amount of cinnamon.
