It will be revitalized for the next two years. Many businesses have shuttered for good. This one and its sister business, Cafe on the Go, were still open when I was there. This store was still doing solid business. It's likely because folks wanted patties I wanted to reminisce. Staff were friendly despite a rather sombre last day. Both the cafe and bakery accepted cash and debit cards only. This place had hot foods, sandwiches, and more. Grabbing a beef patty will always be a fond memory for me. It's the perfect snack while waiting for your bus or train. It's bittersweet seeing businesses affected by the demolition. The nice woman let me know that there's a Cafe on the Go at Islington station. I may drop by someday to get my patty fix and more. I'm happy that I got to stop by one last time. (462)
