Pretty interesting location but it works because lots of people stop by just to come here. I love the amount of choices you get with breads, pastries, and sandwiches. It may get to the point where it gets overwhelming haha. We shared a hot coffee and a smoked ham sandwich. Although it was good, I would have preferred it if they could heat it up as we had it straight from the showcase. I liked that they gave us pickled cabbage with it as well. Great amount of seating, good for groups and those who need to work on their laptops solo. Lots of natural lighting as well.

The food is good , lots of variety to choose from like quiche, sandwiches, pizza slices and much more . The cinnamon bun was very fresh , I enjoyed it with my coffee. The staff is good . The ambiance looked too crowded , very loud, no proper sitting , sit wherever kind of ambiance .

I don't understand how this place is packed at 10-3pm on weekdays, but people don't have jobs and I do. I recommend getting any coffee or pastry item - they've even expanded downtown. Great place to hang with your unemployed buddies during the work days and peep Vaughan ppl

Aesthetics 5/5 Food 5/5 Service 4/5 Came during prime lunch hour and it is BUSY! So come here expecting to wait a bit for a table. There's a self serve area that you can buy loafs of bread, they have sweets and pastries behind the counter that the staff get for you, and a brunch menu that you can order from. You order at the front, grab your buzzer and grab your food at the counter when it's ready. Here's what I got: Smoked Salmon Benedict 5/5 - Came with two poached eggs on a sourdough thick slice, spinach, cream cheese, smoked salmon, hollandaise and side salad. Love the colours of the meal, eggs were perfectly runny, and flavours were amazing. Matcha latte 4/5 - It was good and a vibrant green colour. I love that they do a latte design on the top Lotus cube croissant 5/5 - Loved the cube shape of this croissant. It was a nice flakey texture that was perfectly sweetened. Overall, great brunch spot that is cute and vibey. Love the colour and presentation of their food and would be back!

All their breakfasts here and lattes are really brunch & instagram worthy. The only downside is that the seating is first come first serve. I've gone a couple times and had to resort to getting takeout boxes instead for some visits. I would love to try more of their brunch menu for a dine in but for now just their pastries are enough to keep coming back!

Bready Cafe is a huge bakery/cafe at Langstaff by the GO train tracks. I came here because a post on another social media platform suggested that this was a good place to work remotely. I came by around 1pm and the cafe was packed for lunch. So I wouldn't recommend it as a place to work. However, I did purchase some pastries. I found the pastries were tasty. They were the same high quality pastries that you can find at other high-end bakeries. They also sell breads, desserts, lunch items, and much more. I would definitely want to come back to try some of their other items.

I visited on a Sunday afternoon. The café was busy but not overcrowded, and I easily found a table. It's self-service you order at the counter, get a buzzer, and pick up your food when it buzzes. I ordered two salads: the Farmers Market Chicken and the Cobb. The portions are huge! honestly, one salad could have been enough to share. Most people around us also ended up with to-go containers. The produce was super fresh, and the Cobb was incredibly filling with two poached eggs, chicken breast, and turkey bacon. The Farmers Market Chicken was tasty but could have used a bit of cheese to bring it together. I also tried the iced caramel pecan latte, which was absolutely delicious, and one of their green juices. The juice was very thick with blended bits, not a smooth freshly squeezed drink like I expected, which was a little disappointing. The staff and manager were extremely friendly and attentive, which made the experience enjoyable. Overall, it's a pricey café ..our two salads and two drinks came to around $60 after taxes but the portions and quality are solid. I'd give it 4 out of 5 and would return, just mindful of portion sizes and drink expectations.

Bready cafe is an aesthetic dream. every corner is Insta-worthy, and every pastry tastes like pure happiness. You will leave this place craving the baked goods and thinking about your next visit.

My absolute favourite cafe. Ever since I discovered this place, I've been thinking about when I can come back. We tried their brunch menu , their bakery items and coffee. They are all so delicious. I am obsessed with their tiramisu croissant and matcha latte.

The vibe is always good here, busy, very well organized. Lots of yummy bread, cakes, pastries. Just wish I can try them all, but there are too many choices and all are delicious . The dining hall is large with high ceiling, the service is always polite and pleasant. Such a hidden gem for anyone who craves for satisfying breakfast experience.

I came here with my boyfriend for a quick brunch. The restaurant was absolutely packed, but staff was quick to clean tables and people didn't hover too long after eating, so we were able to snatch a seat after ordering. I got a Caprese panini and a mango passionfruit smoothie. The smoothie was absolutely delicious and the perfect amount of sweetness. It tasted fresh to me. The panini was very good too, but I think next time I will try a different item because it felt pretty standard. I also got an almond croissant and cinnamon danish to go. They were really great and I look forward to trying more baked goods and dessert-type options from here.

Such a cute spot with a lot of character, filled with plants that make the vibe really cozy. It was pretty busy when I went, which already tells you the food is popular. I tried the croissant benedict and it was delicious, the sauce was great, and the avocado inside was a nice touch. It even came with a side salad which I appreciated. I also got the iced strawberry matcha latte. I have high expectations for matcha and while this one wasn't amazing, it was decent. The strawberry puree was yummy though and I have a sweet tooth so it was a yes for me. I also got the lotus cube croissant and it was amazing!! I recommend it for sure if you go here. The service was on the slower side but it's a given considering how busy it was. Nonetheless, the staff were kind. Overall, the food and the atmosphere were the highlights, and I'd definitely come back again for another visit.

For a Sunday, the place was packed and most of their items were sold for the day

I saw a few posts about Bready on Instagram so immediately visited as I was in the area. For a Sunday afternoon, this cafe was packed and a lot of their items were sold out. They have some unique baked goods and serve various dishes as well. I couldn't find a seat to sit at so ordered my pastries to go and enjoyed it at home. The Passionfruit Mango Cheesecake was delicious. Not too sweet and tart, it was perfect. The Tiramisu was also quite good. It just melted in my mouth. As for the Pain Suisse, it was just okay. They recently opened a location downtown so can't wait to go there! Good for: coffee/tea, baked goods, cake, brunch

First thing I noticed was their display of focaccia sandwiches. They had 4 kinds. I wish I didn't already have lunch plans. I love focaccia! The fillings offered were interesting like, mortadella x pistachios or prosciutto x truffle! I will have to return. I came here for the pastry. They had at least 16 different kinds of croissants and danishes. Not including cookies, whole pies and they also serve coffee and loaves of bread. Tiramisu danish was one of their popular items so I got that plus a plain croissant. Wow, the tiramisu was a 10/10! I mean, there was even a piece of ladyfinger soaked in coffee inside the danish! It was unbelievable. It was such a delightful dessert. As for the plain croissant, it was sadly average. It didn't have that crispy, flaky bite I enjoy. Note there is no seating area but there is a counter with a view of the parking lot.

In a quiet corner of Woodbridge, La Strada Bakery defies easy categorization -- and therein lies…read moreits singular charm. What presents itself modestly as a neighbourhood Italian bakery reveals, upon closer acquaintance, something altogether more intriguing: a transatlantic pastry dialogue between the Old World and South America, shaped by the hands of a Uruguayan chef who brings both traditions to bear with quiet confidence. The cannoli are, without equivocation, the crown jewel of this establishment. Piped to order, the filling achieves a textural ideal -- sweetly yielding, impeccably creamy, and notably free of the aggressive lemon notes that so often overwhelm lesser versions. The shell delivers a satisfying, delicate crunch, its restraint allowing the ricotta cream to assert itself as the undisputed protagonist. These are cannoli that would draw admiration well beyond the borders of Woodbridge. One ought not to overlook the sfogliatelle, rendered here in golden, shattering layers, nor the cherry-filled donuts -- generously proportioned, freshly made, and possessed of a quality that lingers in memory long after the visit. The facturas, custard-filled and dusted with care, speak fluently to the South American soul of the kitchen, while the empanadas offer a savoury counterpoint of notable finesse. The space itself is intimate to the point of cosiness -- a handful of seats, a tall central table, and a glass case brimming with the day's offerings. The pace is unhurried, the atmosphere warmly domestic. Tony, the proprietor, greets each guest with a hospitality that feels entirely genuine -- the kind of welcome that transforms a transaction into something closer to a visit with an old friend. If one were to offer a gentle note, it might be that the sheer breadth of the offering -- Italian classics alongside Uruguayan specialties and homemade ravioli -- occasionally tests the boundaries of the compact space. Yet this abundance, curated with evident passion, is ultimately more virtue than flaw. La Strada is a bakery for those who understand that the finest pleasures are often found where one least expects them.

Their salted caramel croissant is beautifully laminated and filled with just the right amount of caramel. Tip: Collect My Crumbs rewards and redeem them for goods…read more It was a soggy, downpour of a Saturday. I was heading home, driving along highway 7. I remembered seeing this Crumbl store in Woodbridge, which is next door to Nations Fresh Foods. I decided to place an order and drop by. What was special about last week was that Crumbl had a lemon cake. I have had it before. It's excellent. I needed to get one. I parked closer to Nations and placed my order through the Crumbl app: - Lemon cake - 24-ounce (medium) EZ breezy I paid. I then took my umbrella and walked over to Crumbl. It was exceptionally busy at roughly 4;45 pm. Everyone was standing around. I frankly didn't know where I should be. There were a couple of self-serve kiosks where you could place your order. No one was there. There must have been at least fifteen teenagers who spoke French the entire time. They were lined up against the wall. This store has a washroom. It was my first time being in a Crumbl store with one open to the public. There was a young woman in front of me who kept on looking back at me and everyone else. It was weird and annoying. I saw my name on the screen. I was thrilled that my order was being made. I heard my name. My EZ breeze beverage was ready. The nice man handed it to me along with a straw. It was a bit difficult to poke my straw through the lid. Some of drink came up on the lid. I slurped it like the person who doesn't want a drop wasted because this drink was $7.55 before taxes. I will say that this drink was excellent. The EZ (I keep saying e-zed because I'm Canadian) breezy had Diet Coke, regular ice, sugar-free coconut, a lime wedge, and coconut cream. It had the perfect coconut-lime combination that I craved, along with Diet Coke. I was thrilled that it was a sugar-free drink that didn't suck. It took maybe an extra five minutes before my lemon cake was ready. The staring-behind woman stopped staring when I got my drink, followed by my cake. At Crumbl, staffers open the box to show you your dessert items. It was my first time seeing a staffer open up the box and accidentally squash some of the lemon cream cheese frosting on my lemon cake with his huge thumb. It was a bit sad seeing someone destroy a part of my cake before I got to. I don't think there's a policy to fix a cake that a staffer has messed up. I didn't think about it when it happened and simply took it. It would be yummy, whether the frosting was messed up or not. I put my lemon cake in a reusable bag to protect it from the rain and headed to my car. I then drove home, continuing to drink my EZ breezy. Delicious! I had the lemon cake later on in the evening. It was yummy just as I had remembered it. The cake was fluffy. The lemon tartness was perfect. The cream cheese frosting was lemony and heavenly. I was thrilled that I got to enjoy this cake again. I should try coming here after work and see whether it's busy. I had a good experience, despite having cake with a bonus thumbprint. (223)

I stumbled upon Cafe Louis BakeHouse, a spacious, modern looking cafe. I liked how the display looks where you can see all their baked goods on display and on the racks. However due to the large space I feel like some of the furniture maybe a bit spaced out too much to give it a slightly hollow feeling. I did go on a super cold day so the establishment was a tad bit chilly as well. I ordered a cappuccino and a white chocolate pistachio croissant. Cappuccino was pretty good however the croissant was at best average. The croissant was mostly bready in texture as opposed to flaky. It was also too sweet for my liking. The white chocolate may have something to do with that. The croissant was also glazed in a way that made it too sticky. The taste of pistachio was quite faint. It was really not what I had in mind. I was surprised by the steady flow of customers since the cafe is hidden in an industrial and one story office area. Customer service was adequate and they did a nice job of coming around with samples of different products they have to offer. I got to try their almond cookie and I actually prefer that over the croissant. A score of 3.4 is where I peg them at. Since I never got a chance to try their bread products, I may return just for that.
