The Pistachio filling was pretty good but its shell was a lot more airy. It was more like a puff pastry instead of fried pastry dough. It was a bit of a miss only because of this, but otherwise I'm excited to try other flavours! They make them to order I believe because once I ordered, one of the girls behind the counter went to the back and came back out in 2 minutes with my cannolis in a sealed box. read more

I LOVED these cannoli's and all of the unique flavours they offer. They make them fresh when you order and they are so light and airy. It is not overly sweet and although expensive, it's worth it. I love that the cannoli shell is not the typical hard shell. It was a pleasant surprise when I bit into it and realized it's the same pastry as a sfolgia cake. So many flavors they will make a cannoli lover out of you! The classic cannoli flavor is ricotta flavored which is their Sicilian cannoli. Make sure you take a look at their chalk board as they has seasonal flavours that isn't displayed on other menus. The employee told us that the most popular flavours are the salted caramel and the Sicilian, if you have trouble deciding. My Sicilian was great and very traditional. When they take your order they check it off on a sheet and go into the back and get you a fresh one from there. Cannoli Queens is a hidden and fairly tiny local gem (the diamond kind). Not to mention, it's an all-female run and owned business--that alone deserves a lot of praise. Cannoli Queens is famous for their puff pastry cannoli shells, as well as their gorgeous cannoli cakes. The fillings are to-die-for! Personal favourites are the pistachio, lemon and hazelnut flavours. Now, they also carry Sicilian cannolis with ricotta filling. This is not your typical deep fried cannoli shell! They chocolate dip the inside of the shell and then fill it with ricotta cream. If you're looking to order more than a dozen, I would suggest calling ahead, as they will make them fresh-to-order. The Cannoli Cakes are pretty expensive (the price depends on how many cannolis will be in the cake) but they're worth the visual. They stack cannoli shells onto a cake board, fill them, and then tie them with a ribbon. It makes for a stunning cake! The actual storefront is minimalistic and small. There isn't enough space for you to sit-in and enjoy your cannoli with a cup of cappuccino. There's only two or three tables jammed right in-front of the display. I'm really surprised that there aren't more reviews for this cute bakery! The plaza it's in doesn't seem to be very busy considering that it's in front of a main road but the parking spots right in front of the bakery were taken up. No big deal since there were several other spots a few steps away. Upon walking in, I noticed the nice black and white walls, black and white designed menu, with black tables and black chairs - super cute! There were a few people in the bakery when we visited and some came in after but overall, service was quick and no long line ups! They have several different types of cannolis to choose from. It was really hard not to buy one of each cannoli since there were so many good choices! I ended up getting the classic Sicilian cannoli and the strawberry one. My husband and I really liked how the Sicilian cannoli was not too sweet and had a crispy shell. The strawberry one had a delicious strawberry filling but we wish the shell was crispy like the other one rather than a soft, flaky one. Prices were good for about $3 each. Holy Cannoli! This place is amazing! My bf and I purchased 6 cannolis because....why not? What I didn't realize is how addicting they were and ended up finishing all 6 before leaving the shop. They were made to order and flavours were amazing: Oreo, Nutella, raspberry, chocolate/vanilla swirl, pistachio and Sicilian. I loved the pastry shell and the cream was deccadent but not overly sweet. My boyfriend doesn't like cannolis and ended loving them. We're still thinking about them days later. I dropped by this place yesterday to pick up some cannoli since I was craving for sweets. The lady was really friendly and so I ordered four different flavour cannoli. They are kind of on the pricey side since it was $3.30 per cannoli, but I wanted to give them a try. The maple flavour one was really tasty. My colleagues had the rest of them and they are not too sweet but has a natural flavour which was not overpowering. This place is a gem! I discovered this cannoli spot over a year (or maybe more) ago and it honestly has the best cannoli I've tried around Toronto. I live in North York and it takes at least 30 minutes to drive here, but it's totally worth it! The cannoli are always fresh, the shell is light and flaky and the filling...if I could buy tubs of the filling, I would. Haha! There are a number of flavours: vanilla, nutella, pistachio, coconut cream, strawberry, blueberry, lemon, raspberry, orange creamsicle, banana, black cherry cheesecake, cinnamon, chocolate and vanilla swirl, cofee, oreo, salted caramel, maple walnut, double chocolate mousse and siciliana. Unfortunately, I haven't gotten to try them all, but everything I have tried has been delicious. My favourite flavours are raspberry, oreo, salted caramel and siciliana. They make the perfect dessert for a family dinner or, honestly, just as a treat to yourself! The shop is really clean and beautifully decorated. It is small and only has a few small tables, but feels very intimate, which really adds to its charm. The staff are also so friendly! They even make beautiful custom cakes. Delicious canolis, friendly staff, and lovely decor! The canolis definitely tasted great, but some flavours better than others. I'm a pistachio fan, but I just thought the flavour in the canoli tasted kind of artifical and wasn't my preferrence. I got several different chocolate flavoured ones, nutella, caramel and strawberry and they were are all fantastic! My favourite one was caramel and strawberry. Also thought I'd mention the canoli shells are more flaky than crunchy. I've had canolis before that had the more crunchy shell which I prefer much more. Discovered this place while driving across highway 7. I noticed their sign and decided to make a little detour just to check out what this place was all about...And I'm glad I did. This place was very cute and clean. Their services were fantastic as they have a display window but as your order, they pack them in the back room and will make the box all pretty with ribbons if you'd like them to. They had many different flavours to choose from. From your classic flavours, to fruity flavours, to mixed flavours. So much to choose from! Their price I would say is reasonable. I can't say I've ever tried such a fresh, tasty cannoli in my lifetime. Personally, I've had ones that just tasted like whipped cream in the middle, or just sweet/sugary. I actually tasted the cheese (not over powering at all mind you) and the flavours I chose. They also serve coffee with their big fancy machines, forget the instant stuff. I went to cannoli queens after hearing about them through a friend. I went there in the evening about an hour before closing and I was a little worried they would not be fresh. I got 2 large Nutella, 1 large vanilla, 1 large pistachio and 2 mini Oreo. The cost was $22.00 which is very reasonable for quality pastries in the Woodbridge area. When I brought them home I cut them up into pieces so my family could try every flavour. They were all so yummy, we couldn't decide which one I loved the most. I think Nutella and vanilla won. They were eaten up so quickly and my family loved every bite. Even the ones who don't like sweets wanted more. The cannoli were extremely fresh and the quality of ingredients could be tasted in every bite. I would definitely go back again and recommend this gem to others.
