Nutella, Oreo, salted caramel & cinnamon cream puff

Flavours: Nutella Oreo Salted caramel Cinnamon cream puff I loved the variety of these cannolis, they have 19 different flavours! The cannoli shell was more pastry like, different then the typical harder shell. The shell was crunchy yet soft and flaky. The fillings were so delicious. The salted caramel was my favourite, the drizzle on top was amazing. All the flavours were really good and there was so much filling in each of them.

I had a friend drop off some sweet treats for me and was pleasantly surprised! These are zeppoles and they taste just as good as they look! The pastry cream was wonderful! I would recommend everyone checking this place out! I will definitely be getting treats from here again! Thanks Cannoli Queens!

Dessert is the key to my heart This is not my typical dessert of choice but this was definitely worth a try. They offer a wide variety of flavours and have very special seasonal ones too like pumpkin spice and candy cane which I NEED to try. Overall, amazing and so fresh

Cannoli Queens is a hidden and fairly tiny local gem (the diamond kind). Not to mention, it's an all-female run and owned business--that alone deserves a lot of praise. Cannoli Queens is famous for their puff pastry cannoli shells, as well as their gorgeous cannoli cakes. The fillings are to-die-for! Personal favourites are the pistachio, lemon and hazelnut flavours. Now, they also carry Sicilian cannolis with ricotta filling. This is not your typical deep fried cannoli shell! They chocolate dip the inside of the shell and then fill it with ricotta cream. If you're looking to order more than a dozen, I would suggest calling ahead, as they will make them fresh-to-order. The Cannoli Cakes are pretty expensive (the price depends on how many cannolis will be in the cake) but they're worth the visual. They stack cannoli shells onto a cake board, fill them, and then tie them with a ribbon. It makes for a stunning cake! The actual storefront is minimalistic and small. There isn't enough space for you to sit-in and enjoy your cannoli with a cup of cappuccino. There's only two or three tables jammed right in-front of the display. I'm hoping that in the near future Cannoli Queens expand and move to a bigger location--they would do very well with the sit-in concept.

Have been trying to try their cannoli for the past 4 years now! Finally did and it was just amazing!!!! Beautiful presentation, great staff, and AWESOME cannoli! Don't know how much cannolis should be but I paid about 17 bucks for 6 of them. Salted caramel and vanilla are a must try!!

I'm really surprised that there aren't more reviews for this cute bakery! The plaza it's in doesn't seem to be very busy considering that it's in front of a main road but the parking spots right in front of the bakery were taken up. No big deal since there were several other spots a few steps away. Upon walking in, I noticed the nice black and white walls, black and white designed menu, with black tables and black chairs - super cute! There were a few people in the bakery when we visited and some came in after but overall, service was quick and no long line ups! They have several different types of cannolis to choose from. It was really hard not to buy one of each cannoli since there were so many good choices! I ended up getting the classic Sicilian cannoli and the strawberry one. My husband and I really liked how the Sicilian cannoli was not too sweet and had a crispy shell. The strawberry one had a delicious strawberry filling but we wish the shell was crispy like the other one rather than a soft, flaky one. Prices were good for about $3 each. We'll definitely be back to try the other flavours when we're in the area!

Holy Cannoli! This place is amazing! My bf and I purchased 6 cannolis because....why not? What I didn't realize is how addicting they were and ended up finishing all 6 before leaving the shop. They were made to order and flavours were amazing: Oreo, Nutella, raspberry, chocolate/vanilla swirl, pistachio and Sicilian. I loved the pastry shell and the cream was deccadent but not overly sweet. My boyfriend doesn't like cannolis and ended loving them. We're still thinking about them days later. Absolutely worth the trip to find this place! Would honestly recommend this place and definitely returning soon!!!

Caramel, strawberry, and nuttela were the best ones. Pistachio canoli wasn't too great.

Delicious canolis, friendly staff, and lovely decor! The canolis definitely tasted great, but some flavours better than others. I'm a pistachio fan, but I just thought the flavour in the canoli tasted kind of artifical and wasn't my preferrence. I got several different chocolate flavoured ones, nutella, caramel and strawberry and they were are all fantastic! My favourite one was caramel and strawberry. Also thought I'd mention the canoli shells are more flaky than crunchy. I've had canolis before that had the more crunchy shell which I prefer much more. I also wish they'd had all the canolis on display during my visit to make selection easier.

Delicious! We had the Nutella, vanilla and salted caramel. All flavours were an absolute hit. Will definitely be back for more.

Tip: Collect My Crumbs rewards and redeem them for goods…read more It was a soggy, downpour of a Saturday. I was heading home, driving along highway 7. I remembered seeing this Crumbl store in Woodbridge, which is next door to Nations Fresh Foods. I decided to place an order and drop by. What was special about last week was that Crumbl had a lemon cake. I have had it before. It's excellent. I needed to get one. I parked closer to Nations and placed my order through the Crumbl app: - Lemon cake - 24-ounce (medium) EZ breezy I paid. I then took my umbrella and walked over to Crumbl. It was exceptionally busy at roughly 4;45 pm. Everyone was standing around. I frankly didn't know where I should be. There were a couple of self-serve kiosks where you could place your order. No one was there. There must have been at least fifteen teenagers who spoke French the entire time. They were lined up against the wall. This store has a washroom. It was my first time being in a Crumbl store with one open to the public. There was a young woman in front of me who kept on looking back at me and everyone else. It was weird and annoying. I saw my name on the screen. I was thrilled that my order was being made. I heard my name. My EZ breeze beverage was ready. The nice man handed it to me along with a straw. It was a bit difficult to poke my straw through the lid. Some of drink came up on the lid. I slurped it like the person who doesn't want a drop wasted because this drink was $7.55 before taxes. I will say that this drink was excellent. The EZ (I keep saying e-zed because I'm Canadian) breezy had Diet Coke, regular ice, sugar-free coconut, a lime wedge, and coconut cream. It had the perfect coconut-lime combination that I craved, along with Diet Coke. I was thrilled that it was a sugar-free drink that didn't suck. It took maybe an extra five minutes before my lemon cake was ready. The staring-behind woman stopped staring when I got my drink, followed by my cake. At Crumbl, staffers open the box to show you your dessert items. It was my first time seeing a staffer open up the box and accidentally squash some of the lemon cream cheese frosting on my lemon cake with his huge thumb. It was a bit sad seeing someone destroy a part of my cake before I got to. I don't think there's a policy to fix a cake that a staffer has messed up. I didn't think about it when it happened and simply took it. It would be yummy, whether the frosting was messed up or not. I put my lemon cake in a reusable bag to protect it from the rain and headed to my car. I then drove home, continuing to drink my EZ breezy. Delicious! I had the lemon cake later on in the evening. It was yummy just as I had remembered it. The cake was fluffy. The lemon tartness was perfect. The cream cheese frosting was lemony and heavenly. I was thrilled that I got to enjoy this cake again. I should try coming here after work and see whether it's busy. I had a good experience, despite having cake with a bonus thumbprint. (223)

Bartholomew feels like a hidden gem with it's location and outlook, but inside are some of the best, or dareisay, the actual best pastries in the GTA. So much to choose from and so many options, you'll probably leave with boxes full like many of the others here. Be prepared to take out another mortgage with the amount you'll spend here. But it's so worth it. Buttery flaky goodness in literally every bite. I had the almond croissant and the chocolate cherry pastry and oh my gosh, their flavours are SO right. It's so fresh that it almost doesn't feel like I'm cheating. I'll be coming here again and again and again. Also, I reached out to the owners who confirmed that all of their pastries which don't have alcohol or meat items are otherwise fully halal, even down to the gel they use in some of the pastries! We love an inclusive bakery.

It is a LONG wait if you come to purchase in person (aka not a pickup order). HIGHLY RECOMMEND pickup option. We waited 45-60 mins on a rainy day. It is super popular! Some items were sold out due to popularity, but honestly not worth the hype. It is good pastries and a bit more unique due to their flavor combinations, but the execution feels rushed and dry. We had their croissants, which should be freshly made, but somehow it was dry, stale, and the only thing saving it was the filling. Not sure what happened as I've heard good things about it. Very much a swing and a miss. If we try it again, will definitely try to order for a pickup. Their sandwiches were much better, but there is standing room only in the cafe so its a pickup and go place. It is in an industrial location, so driving and parking is out of the way. For the location, it probably is the better option around (aka Vaughan), but either a bit west or east, there are better options without the long wait times. Try it at least once though, and try at least one of every item, you might find something you like, for me, it was their sandwiches, even though I was there for their pastries.

Last Saturday, I was in my car, parked steps away from Zoup! I had placed a dinner order. I looked across the plaza and noticed Paris Baguette (PB). I had visited COBS Bread a couple of hours earlier. Did I need another bakery visit? Yes! I had some time to kill before picking up my dinner. It was raining. I drove over to PB and parked relatively close to the store. I walked in. I felt like I was in heaven. Carb heaven. Where should I start? I got a tray. There were instructions to grab a small piece of paper and lay it on the tray. I got tongs and went to work. I saw palmiers. My mom loves them. I grabbed one with my tongs and broke off a curved section. It was probably a first for me. I ate the broken part and placed the imperfect palmier on my tray. The broken piece was yummy and was perfection. I finally understood why my mom loves palmiers. I hit the croissant section. I got a pain au chocolat, which is probably my favourite type of croissant. I also got a chocolate croissant. A nice, older woman started chatting with me. She was so sweet. She let me know that she frequents this bakery often and loves it. I asked her what items she hasn't had. It was two items, which floored me. She noticed the chausson aux pommes that I had on my tray and said that it was yummy. I got the following items: - Chausson aux pommes - Chocolate croissant - Pineapple brûlée pastry - Palmier - Pastel de nata - Pain au chocolat - Curry croquette The nice woman let me know that Mia, who was the staffer behind the counter, let her know that this bakery has Korean owners. Really? It made sense seeing mochi donuts. We both hit the checkout counter. Mia got her order and said to grab a seat. She'd bring everything to her. This nice woman said that she was shy of being 90 years old. What?! She looked great! I wouldn't have guessed that I was talking to an 89-year-old woman during my entire time here. I hope that when I am her age, I am savouring pastry as often as my new friend. Mia was great. She put all my pastries in a box. She singled out my savoury curry croquette in a paper bag. I paid with a credit card. I tapped and was good. I got my receipt, thanked her, grabbed my goodies, wished my new friend a wonderful day, and left. There was a Wild game that night. I had a pastry each period. Three pastries in three hours. They were delicious! I will say that the ones with fresh fruit were the most expensive, just over $6. They were worth it. The chausson aux pommes had the best apple filling. It was flaky and delicious. I absolutely devoured the pineapple brûlée pastry. The pineapple chunks were set in custard and were so naturally sweet. This pastry was superb. The pain au chocolat continues to be my favourite croissant. It was flaky and had the best chocolate in every bite. So good! I had the chocolate croissant and loved it. It was fresh, flaky, and soft. The chocolate drizzle had the right amount of chocolate with the buttery croissant. I was extremely happy with my pastel de nata. The custard had a hint of sweetness. The base of flaky. It could have been torched on top more, but I'd get half a dozen next time. I didn't know what to expect with the curry croquette. It was delicious. It had a crispy exterior, crusted with a mix of white and black sesame seeds. The curry filling was full of good flavour. It had veggies in it. The corn and carrot combination worked nicely. I raved about this place to my friend at work today. There's one at Heartland in Mississauga, which is perfect for us to do a run after work. I had an excellent experience. It was nice meeting a passionate pastry lover while getting her take on what she loves. Everything that I consumed was excellent. I hope to get a drink next time and perhaps sit down to enjoy it. I'll be back. (117)

What presents itself modestly as a neighbourhood Italian bakery reveals, upon closer acquaintance, something altogether more intriguing: a transatlantic pastry dialogue between the Old World and South America, shaped by the hands of a Uruguayan chef who brings both traditions to bear with quiet confidence. The cannoli are, without equivocation, the crown jewel of this establishment. Piped to order, the filling achieves a textural ideal -- sweetly yielding, impeccably creamy, and notably free of the aggressive lemon notes that so often overwhelm lesser versions. The shell delivers a satisfying, delicate crunch, its restraint allowing the ricotta cream to assert itself as the undisputed protagonist. These are cannoli that would draw admiration well beyond the borders of Woodbridge. One ought not to overlook the sfogliatelle, rendered here in golden, shattering layers, nor the cherry-filled donuts -- generously proportioned, freshly made, and possessed of a quality that lingers in memory long after the visit. The facturas, custard-filled and dusted with care, speak fluently to the South American soul of the kitchen, while the empanadas offer a savoury counterpoint of notable finesse. The space itself is intimate to the point of cosiness -- a handful of seats, a tall central table, and a glass case brimming with the day's offerings. The pace is unhurried, the atmosphere warmly domestic. Tony, the proprietor, greets each guest with a hospitality that feels entirely genuine -- the kind of welcome that transforms a transaction into something closer to a visit with an old friend. If one were to offer a gentle note, it might be that the sheer breadth of the offering -- Italian classics alongside Uruguayan specialties and homemade ravioli -- occasionally tests the boundaries of the compact space. Yet this abundance, curated with evident passion, is ultimately more virtue than flaw. La Strada is a bakery for those who understand that the finest pleasures are often found where one least expects them.

I'd been wanting to try the cannoli from St. Philip's Bakery for a while, and I finally stopped by!…read moreI picked up 2 classic chocolate cannolis, 2 pistachio cannolis. and 2 ricotta lobstertails Price & Size: Cannolis were around $4 each, not exactly cheap, but they were quite large. Taste: The shells were crispy, and the ricotta filling was smooth, not too sweet, and overall tasty. The lobstertails were also crispy and creamy. Verdict: After trying the 3 most famous cannoli spots in Vaughan, this one ranks 3rd for me. They were good, but nothing mind-blowing--I wouldn't go out of my way just for these. Of course, this is subjective, so this might be someone else's favorite! Bakery & Service: The store was clean, well-organized, and easy to browse. The staff was friendly, but I wish they had price tags on display. Beyond cannoli, this bakery offers a huge selection of pastries, bread, cakes, deli meats, ready-to-eat meals, coffee, and gelato--so I'd love to come back and try more!

When I attempted to speak, she glanced at a colleague, checked the time, and rather dismissively stated, "We are closed." This was confusing, as several customers were still actively shopping and completing purchases. When I pointed this out, she responded that "this section is closed," despite remaining at the same counter and continuing her work. The interaction came across as unprofessional and discourteous. I would expect a more respectful and customer-oriented approach, particularly when the store is still open and serving others. I hope management is aware of such conduct, as it does not reflect well on the overall customer experience.

I have been using the Too Good to Go app here and there. The problem that I found was that all…read moreplaces locally within Markham tend to have sold out on end-of-day food before I look at the app. The concept is great. Rather than having businesses throw out food and have it go to waste at the end of the day, they sell it at reduced prices through the app. I decided to expand my search radius, which has been wonderful. I found Bravo Baklava and Bagels. I bought a surprise bag for $6. My pickup time was between noon and 7 pm yesterday. I took my time getting there on a Saturday, eventually arriving well before 2 pm. Bravo is in a plaza with a bunch of other stores, diagonally across from Canada's Wonderland. I found a parking spot and backed into it. I didn't do any research about Bravo before I headed over. I was delighted to see a sign saying that it's a Turkish bakery. I was in Istanbul several years ago. I absolutely loved hitting bakeries. I walked through the door and saw a fridge with fizzy drinks. I have not seen them since I was in Istanbul. It threw me back and I was incredibly happy. A lovely woman behind the counter said hi. I reciprocated. I looked at all the baklava in the display case. Wow! I was mesmerized. I let her know that it felt like being back in Istanbul. It felt so comfortable. I then indicated that I had a Too Good to Go order. I showed her my code and she started packing stuff for me. I liked that she described what I was getting. I was shocked at how much she was giving me. She showed me a generous slice of mango cake. She gave me two containers. She also gave me two bags of simits, which are Turkish bagels. These ones were huge and fully covered in sesame seeds. Each bag had four simits. I was so shocked to get so much food. She indicated that I should freeze the simits and take one out whenever I wanted one. She was so helpful. I looked at the puddings and desserts. I couldn't take my eyes off a baked good with a honey glaze, with some sesame seeds on it. She was so kind to put one in a bag and give it to me. It was such a kind gesture. She was so generous. I thanked her for everything and wished her a great day. I walked out and put everything in my car before I drove off. I ate the honey-glazed baked good in the car. It was so fresh. It had a touch of sweetness. It was chewy and still warm. I loved the sesame seeds on top. I ate it plain, but I'm sure that it would be yummy with a spread of your choice. I had one of the mango cakes for dessert last night. The cake was moist and yummy. The mango puree on top wasn't overly sugary. It tasted like ripe, fresh mangoes. This morning, I had a simit for breakfast with a couple of fried eggs. There is something enjoyable breaking up a simit and dipping it into runny egg yolks. Delicious! Each simit is generously covered in sesame seeds. It's chewy and so perfect. I love bagels, but simits are special. I remember having one every day while in Istanbul, thanks to the lounge area that offered them any time of day. I'm so glad that I can get my fix here and be transported back to Turkey. Bravo makes authentic simits and I am thrilled to have seven more to enjoy before I head back there for more. It was such an unexpected, cool find. I will go back and get a carbonated imported drink from Turkey, along with some baklava next time. This place also has Turkish delight. It was another weakness that I had developed while in Istanbul. Bravo is so deadly, but so good for Turkish pastries and desserts. (126)
