I had one of the worst experiences I've ever had at a bar here. I was completely respectful, not causing any issues, and somehow still got kicked out for absolutely no reason. There was no explanation given--just a rude "you need to leave, Kirk doesn't want you here" like I had done something wrong when i did not. What made it even worse was the owner Sierra's attitude. Instead of handling the situation professionally, they were incredibly disrespectful and dismissive. Talking down to customers and refusing to even explain what was going on is not how you run a business. Working for Uncle Sam and having family in Fort Wayne, Indiana, every few years when I come back home, we always go to break and runs and have a great time, but this October 2025, I'm not sure what happened. We totally had a horrible experience; when we ordered drinks, the server never came back. We went over to dance on a Saturday night, and they closed it down early. Then, when we put over $40 in the jukebox, it played our songs that only lasted for a few seconds and were cut off. This was sad because it was my nephew's 21st birthday, and all he had been talking about was going to break and run; the experience we had was horrible. Hopefully, Break and Run will return to the outstanding bar it once was, but for now, it's in terrible shape. Oh, by the way, they need to lighten up on the ice; every drink we got, they filled it up with ice, leaving very little liquor, and still charged full price! Great place to go and play pool, hang out, and get drinks. I only come once a week during league nights. Server there knows my name, and my drink and food order by heart. She confirms that I would like to place and order right when I walk in and always checks back to see if I need more. Top notch service right there! I've never found service like that anywhere else. Pool tables there are heavily used (old felt, old bumpers, broken parts) so don't expect your best gameplay, but they are free, and I'm spoiled at home with a good table and professional balls. read more

Break and Run used to be a real dive. There's nothing bad about that, but it had an overall shabby and stained appearance to it. Things have changed! Everything looks newer and well-maintained. You can't beat a $3 cover and unlimited pool, darts and corn hole. We spent $8 for a pitcher and well drinks are usually around $4-5. There are plenty of pool tables and plenty of seating, so you're never really waiting around for someone to finish up. The vibe is pretty hopping, and it seems to be a good mix of people. There's a dance floor in the far corner, but it's kind of closed off-- I've never seen anyone go in there, but it's an option. We went on a Saturday evening, about 11pm- 1am. This is great for groups, and with it's new makeover, it's hard to beat its value! We'll definitely be here more often. read more

I wish everyone knew how solid of a place this is. I have been here multiple times & it's been a 5 star experience each time out. They have a simple $5 cover charge and that gives you full access to atleast 35-40 pool tables, a whole wall of darts, corn-hole, ping-pong, air hockey, a dance floor, & very moderately priced drinks/food. This was stop #3 of a boys night out, and we were all pleasantly surprised by this little gem of a place. It was clean, well lit, people were very friendly and all games were FREE! The sign on the door suggested a one drink minimum, but I don't think many people were having any problems with that. Beers were $2 or $2.50 if you got them in a bucket. Besides the over 30 pool tables, there were probably 20+ dart boards, 10 corn hole games, and at least 1 air hockey table. We stuck to pool, and found the table in good condition, and we even found some house sticks that were not warped and had somewhat decent tips on them. Chalk for the sticks was found easily. I am sure that some of the tables are more worn than others, but I didn't see any glaring problems with anything. I guess what struck me the most was how busy it was on a Thursday night. Probably 2/3rds of the tables were in use, and maybe 75% of the dart boards were being used. No one was playing corn hole. Music streamed from the 1970's and early 1980's, loud enough to hear easily, but not too loud. Bar selection left a little to be desired, but technically it's a pool hall, not a bar. My buddy owns a store just a few doors down from this place, and the funny thing is that he's never stepped foot in here before. I think we will be back! read more

Love the $1 nights on wednesdays! The 40+ pool tables are so fun plus they are free! Just a very relaxed fun atmosphere.
