Great environment and friendly staff. Perfect spot for date night or hanging with friends. Dim and relaxed. Great crafted cocktails as well!

Another good trip to Union Social. Roxy did a great job welcoming us and making us feel at home…read more Ayla worked hard to serve us well. She was very patient with members of the party that struggled with decision making. On this occasion we sat in the middle of the facility. This is the most open...and unfortunately the loudest area. It was so loud on this night that we struggled to have dinner conversation. The fry flight was fun for the party to sample. The tots were nice and crisp and meaty. The sweet potato fries had a bold sweet potato taste but were disappointingly limp - first time they have been this way. The flat fries were uniquely thin and crispy. The cheese sauce was a unique blend of different cheeses that didn't taste like cheese. More of a smooth, mild and somewhat plain sauce. The ketchup had a nice bold tomato taste. The ranch dip was fairly unique with very faint ranch and oil taste. My wife loved the Southwest bowl. Very fresh and with lots of healthy add ins. The marinaded chicken was very moist and seasoned nicely. The guacamole was very tasty. The short rib beef stroganoff had an outstanding beef taste. The meat was moist and tender - easily pulled apart. The sauce was very light so that it let the natural beef juices dominate the taste. No heavy sour creme taste here. The noodle were perfectly cooked to a firm consistency.

Wife had steak and pasta and I had jambalaya. Hers was nice but mine tasted ok. Sausage ok but the sliced chicken which was strange. Like deli style. Appetizers were ricotta cheese and a steak egg roll. Both ok. Dessert was a toll house cookie topped with ice cream. Disappointed there. $120 for two was a bit much. Left $20 tip.

Coyote Creek Bar & Grill (Hillegas Road/just across the interstate bridge) - large menu, good food,…read moreno rush I will keep this review short. Coyote Creek is set at the golf club on Hillegas Road. It's it's south of the highway 30 over pass and north of where Coliseum Blvd meets Hillegas. We love eating here when we can sit out on the patio. Eating inside is nice as well. It is a large facility that is easy to get a table. Good for larger groups too! They have a large menu with specials. Their bar can meet most all your needs as well. Overall their prices are pretty reasonable. The team here hustles and does their best to serve you well. The picture included is for their fish, shrimp and hushpuppy entree. Lots of popcorn type fried shrimp. Fish is cooked similar to Big Eyed fish - nice and flaky, thinner batter. The hushpuppies are smaller, sweet and moist. Cole slaw is very creamy. Good choice if you like fish!

The food is great! We shared an appetizer sampler and a couple sliders. Everything was delicious!…read moreThe kitchen was short staffed, and the wait was a little longer than normal, but the food made it worth it, and our waitress was a doll, and checked in often despite most of the tables being full. The restaurant sits on a golf course, and the views are excellent. The restaurant is nice, in a classic way, which I adore. Take out is excellent, but we love dining in!

Arena Bar & Grill - home for thin crust lovers. And if you need a deal...then order on Sundays…read morewhen a 16" is $14 all day. If love thin crust, then you need to make the trip out to Arena B&G at DuPont & Lima Roads. Arena does have a very good thin crust pizza. The crust is saltine cracker thick. The bottom is cooked so that it is flour white and soft...but stiff enough to pick up an individual square. The edges are cooked with a slight golden brown and crisp. The crust doesn't have any accents like butter, garlic or seasoning. Just plain pizza dough. The sauce the is slightly sweet and has a thicker consistency. Arena apllies a decent amount of sauce covers the pizza well and moistens it up a bit. I like the little bit stronger tomato flavor without a dominating spicy taste. There were enough toppings to create that single layer across the pizza. They aren't piled up such that you toppings on top of toppings on top of toppings. Just the right amount. The veggies were crisp and fresh. I would have liked to had more meat and more of an Italian favoring. Still good stuff! As for the cold pizza test...it was still moist enough to bite into the next day...the crispy crusts were still pleasantly crispy. The toppings tend to lose much of their zippy flavor. Though the veggies are still crisp. We ordered a side of cheese bread. The bread is a slice of Texas toast..so it is thick. They grill it so it has some nice buttery grill marks on the bottom. The edges are still soft. The inside breading has a nice buttery-garlic taste. The mozzarella is piled on nicely. Good cheesy taste overall! Overall, Arena Bar & Grill should be on your destination list if you are a thin crust lover. It's a busy place if you plan to dine in. Service is usually pretty friendly and spot on. They also have really good wings!
