After reading the previous reviews, I had high hopes for this place. They were dashed. There is very little in the way of variety. And the young woman serving knew nothing about the type of icing used. Still, we bought a few. The cream cheese topped cinnamon roll and apple fritters. The cinnamon roll was fine but the fritter had no apples. We will not go back. read more

As far as donuts go these are classics! These are not some chain store fluffy donuts, not the made in a factory then frozen, shipped and thawed to serve junk you get at a supermarket. The guy in back puts his hands to work, uses simple quality ingredients, and he knows the right time and temp to fry them. They are delicious old time donuts! Yes, the lady behind the counter is moody, but she probably deals with a few jerks everyday, probably goes to work at some ungodly hour of the morning, probably gets grouches at daily about the cash only policy- cut her some slack, she's an employee, she does not set policy. I've been in the donut business, the margin is tight, losing 4-8% to take credit or debit cards hurts. Quit complaining and show up with cash. Bottom line: THE DONUTS ARE GREAT! read more

Really delicious, fresh, tasty donuts. These are not the types of donuts where you think to yourself, "Meh, it was a donut...it was okay." These are the types of donuts that you plan to buy on mornings when you have relatives in town because they are just melt-in-your-mouth good. We also really enjoyed the yeast-y, delicious cinnamon rolls! Cash only, which is pretty standard for small bakeries like this one. I recommend you support this local business. I recently acquired Wyoming as part of my sales territory and travel to Gillette on a regular basis. On my first trip, a few weeks ago, I decided to take pastries to a morning meeting. I found Breanna's and started to go inside when I noticed the sign by the cash register indicating they only take cash. I was irritated but opted to go next door to the bank and draw $20.00 (plus a $3.00) ATM fee so I could get donuts. When I returned to Breanna's the dark haired woman behind the counter indicated she had seen me start to come in an with a smirk said "must not carry cash, huh?". I was polite and explained that I travel on business and use a company issued credit card. I attempted to make conversation but she just looked at me rudely slammed some donuts into boxes and declared the two dozen donuts would be $21.98. My conclusion. This place is rude to customers and asking way too much for their mediocre donuts. I won't be back. read more
