Breakfast is phenomenal. The eggs are fluffy and you can tell everything is homemade. Lots of older people and families were eating here which made the atmosphere calm and peaceful. For such a small building the 2 waitresses were hopping all over the place it was that busy. read more

They're ALWAYS packed but that doesn't stop the servers from having great attitudes and being on top of everything. They all work great as a team. For it always being so busy, the food wait time is not affected, we always are impressed by how quickly everything comes out. Their pies are on point too. Home made and delicious. My favorite entree is their Italian melt. I get it all the time. My kiddo loves their pancakes with a side of bacon and my husband orders something different every time. read more

Found this little place while driving through Gillette, I always try to find smaller type places to eat, local. This was certainly a local joint, you know that when you walk in and everyone is looking at you. Very small, probably 10-12 tables. Service was super fast. I ordered the Farmers Omelette and had a side of sausage and gravy. It was a typical Omelette, nothing special. The biscuits and gravy were bland. Not a bad place to stop! read more

Fabulous customer service with a great "welcome home" environment. The food is everything one would want for breakfast. There is a good variety with a great willingness to accommodate needs as well. I love finding a good local place, especially dives. This place was AWFUL. First of all, the place was FILTHY. Dark, oily carpet. Next, a very odd waitress met me with really odd social skills. She kept staring at me when I spoke, and laughing after everything I said. She greeted me with "are you eating today?" Um, yeah, I think so. The people in the place are 99% local folks, so I thought, OK, there must be some great food here. Honestly, everything was packaged or from a can. I ordered a chili smothered burrito. We had an hour to kill before our flight back to Chicago so Seth searched the best local spot that was open on a Sunday morning and came up with Lula Belles. it was packed so we had to wait. Must say, the restaurant was not on the clean side, Mellody would not approve. after waiting for awhile a table opened up but some people jumped down in the seats even though we had been there longer, apparently that's how it works, the race is to the swift. so we eyed another table paying their bill and the moment their butts left the seats ours where in them. after seeing numerous plates of food pass by we decided to forego a complete breakfast and just ordered the cinnamon bun and a slice of apple pie ala mode (soft serve no less) as those are two items this joint is known for. we split them, had a coffee each and $10 later left a generous tip and headed to the airport. can't say they were the best pie and bun i ever had in my life but...Oh well. it was an experience. read more

My wife is from this area and suggested Lula Belle's. So, knowing she was going to feed me, I happily got in the car and we drove over to it. I had the biscuits/gravy special that included, surprise surprise, biscuits and gravy, two eggs and hot links. I don't remember what my wife had, but that doesn't matter. It's all about me! I mean, Lula Belle's! Everything was ... ok. There was a lot of food...I'm a fat guy and I left full. The biscuits and gravy were decent, the eggs were cooked as I asked for them and the hot links were good. They were pretty much large hot dogs that were a little more spicy. My wife had bacon with her meal and it was thick cut and very good. It is smokey in there and it is small. There seemed to be an "old man" table in one corner that was always occupied. One old man would come in, have his coffee and leave. Within minutes another one would come in , have his coffee and leave - and on and on for the time we were there. As noted in another review there are about 10 tables there and maybe 6 seats at the counter. I didn't try the pie and even though I saw a pecan roll that looked good, I passed on that too. Overall an ok place with ok food. We will probably go back the next time we are in Gillette, unless we find something better. read more

Lula Belle's seems to have no idea that their pie reigns supreme. A childhood favorite mostly for the huge portion size and Carmel pecan rolls. However, as an adult who has moved back from a state that passed the "no smoking in dining establishments" law Lula Bell's isn't a fan favorite anymore. Now I can taste the ash in everything. And in 20 years, it may be time for a make over, Lula. The same knick knacks and decor has collected dust for so long, it's become part of the tchotchke itself. I feel the establishment may eventually die with the smokers who dine there. read more

Great find for breakfast! Gray good and terrific service from one waitress. The French toast was very light and tasty and the sirloin steak and eggs was the best I've ever had in a diner. One note, Google maps can't find it, take you to a dead end across the railroad tracks from the actual location. Oh Lula Belle's! This place has been around since I was a kid. I'm from Gillette originally so have definitely ate here over the years. Yes it is sketchy looking, located right by the tracks, and not the cleanest, but you won't find a better hole in the wall restaurant. And the fact this place has been around for at least 20 years tells you that they must be doing something right. The food is reasonably priced and delicious. The are only about 8 tables on the inside, and the place is small, but you won't find a better quaint place. Yum! The only negative thing is that Wyoming still has where you can smoke on the inside of an establishment so if you go any day besides Sunday it is smoky. Sunday morning is smoke free which is lovely. When I was in town last I had breakfast with a friend here because I haven't been there in years. The food is just as good as when I was growing up. I hope Lula Belle's lasts forever, keep it up! read more

Food was garbage, I could make a better breakfast myself if I shopped at Walmart, the coffee tastes like piss. The only good thing was that we got our meal paid for by some good Samaritans before us.
