The turkey burger I got last night was just so so. It was heavy on the hot sauce and I had to scrape some off. I would have had them hold it but online ordering only lets you add things. Decided to try Bred for some delivery and my mind was blown. Food was INCREDIBLE. Great portions, delivered nice and hot. Took a tiny bit longer to get here than other places, but given the circumstances, quality of food, and amount of orders they must be getting WELL worth the wait. I never like ordering a burger and fries to go...there's just something about eating a freshly prepared burger and hot fries that makes the experience something to write home about. Now onto my review. I initially ordered to go but since there were tons of seats open I decided to stay in. The owner took my order and was helpful in explaining the menu and I sensed a great sense of pride in his voice as he stressed the quality of the meat they serve. I ordered the jerk salmon burger and a small side of parmesan truffle fries. If you like spicy food, like I do, you will love the salmon burger. Spicy but not overwhelming, moist and overall a great patty. The cole slaw helped to cool down the spiciness and the fried onions were a nice addition. The fries were yummy and addictive. The truffle Parmesan fries are awesome. They are crispy on the outside, creamy on the inside and bursting with flavor. This is a cute little burger shop that is perfect for take out or dine in (if tables are available). They even serve beer and have discounted beer specials! I'm a dark beer girl so I was excited that I finally found a place in Boston that had a selection of stouts and porters, and not just Guinness. I chose the Cajun fries and the Parisian burger. It took a while for the food to come out but I was able to occupy the time by sipping on my beer and playing Jenga! The wait was worth it, the food came out piping hot and delicious! I couldn't stop eating the fries and I was about halfway through the box before I realized I hadn't tried my burger. The burger was good EXCEPT I was not a fan of the mushrooms at all. I had previously gotten takeout from this place and wasn't impressed. But since then I gave it another try in person, and was pretty happy with my burger. I got the veggie burger again, and while I think it's a bit too sweet for my normal tastes it was still good. Do not waste your time going to this place. I went in for a takeout order, placed my order, and then proceeded to wait forever for them to make my food. They had a bunch of takeout orders that they were able to fill. I finally went up to the counter and asked about my food. Apparently it had been made and bagged and sitting on the shelf for a long time without anyone giving me my order I sat there in this place, which is small, so they knew I was there waiting and watching people come and go and still my food was sitting on the counter. When I took it out, it was cold. I went back and explained that to them, and all the woman did behind the counter was argue with me that she made it as soon as she took the order. I asked her how long it was sitting on the counter she could not give me an answer, except I made it as soon as you came in and ordered. I told her my food was cold, so obviously it had been sitting there for a while, but she insisted on arguing with me. so my food got cold while I was waiting inside the small little place where they could see me sitting there waiting.
