I signed up as the highest level annual membership package 6 months ago and the service has deteriorated into a full scale breach of contract with seemingly no one left to provide the services I paid for. Both of the talented and reliable stylists that I was working with left the company and since then it has been a nightmare. The communication from the company has completely broken down to the point where I can't even get a response to my emails much less schedule any of the services that I already paid for. After repeated attempts to get a response to my concerns I have been completely left in the dark and unable to utilize any of the services included in my membership. :( Ownership seems to only care about enriching themselves at the expense of the clients and I am extremely disappointed in all the false promises including an app that never materialized. My initial hesitancy regarding the price has been a non-issue after my experience with Maddy & Alexis. The quality of the clothes I've been introduced to along with their approach to making the styling experience fun and functional has been worth every penny. Although my wardrobe has shrunk by 75%, the pieces they selected for me are multi-functional. So i can go from a work style to a date night style simply by switching out a jacket or swapping a pair of shoes - so easy! It was an Ok experience; the quality of clothes they picked was good but it was way than I wanted to spend. It would have been nice if they were more transparent on the price from the start since I had no idea that the price of some of these clothes was outrageously expensive. I spent over $8000 dollars on my first shopping appointment and this is on top of the membership fee. The stylists I had was ok; there were two I had appointments with and one canceled on me like twice. Also, they said they were going to follow up and never did. Another one I had, Colleen, was good and she said good taste but I feel like they all think I am a Millionaire or something; picking brands that the normal person probably never heard of. Overall, I probably would have enjoyed more if I was rich but I am not and only did it just to get some styling going and improve my dating life; did not imagine it would be breaking the bank. It would have been better if they were more transparent at the beginning about the pricing because I probably wouldn't have done it if I knew I was going to spend that much money on top of the membership price. I was really excited to work with BREE but unfortunately the experience has been overwhelmingly disappointing and difficult. I bought a new client special package of three "mini-appointments" of each of the services they offered. The stylists arrived to my first shopping appointment 40min late- not a great start. While it was fun (the stylists were very sweet), they didn't ask for my budget or style preferences prior to the appointment, so I felt pushed to spending more money than I would've liked on clothes that didn't really fit my lifestyle. (When I expressed reservations about the pricing at the appointment, the stylist was dismissive of my concerns and said "some of my clients spend up to $30k on their first appointment.") Fortunately, they accept returns so I reached out to let them know I'd like to return my items and I was told I could do so at my second appointment. Unfortunately, my second appointment was cancelled at 10:30pm the night before as the stylist was sick. While illness is a totally valid reason to cancel, it was unprofessional that it was such short notice, and she didn't make any effort to reschedule the appointment. Her assistant was then supposed to come pick up the returns, but he canceled 2 hours before the agreed upon time due to traffic (it's LA, traffic is always a factor, so I was less sympathetic to this short notice cancellation). Once I was finally able to return the items, the amount that they refunded me was incorrect. There were no further efforts made to schedule the remaining appointments in my package, so I requested a refund for the unfulfilled appointments. Given the late arrivals and late cancellations, I didn't want to keep scheduling appointments with a business that doesn't respect my time. I have been going back and forth for several weeks now with customer service to no avail. The email responses are slow and unhelpful (they replied to say that all my appointments had been scheduled, which is a blatant lie) and the support number listed on their website is just an answering machine that no one seems to be monitoring. It has been a huge headache to work with BREE and I am so disappointed given all the positive experiences that other reviewers seemed to have. If you have a massive clothing budget, and ample free time to go back and forth with customer service then this may be the service for you. Otherwise, I would look elsewhere for a personal stylist service. read more

I am one of those people that purchase things on Instagram or purchase the same type of item over and over. When they arrive, I have no idea what to do with them.
