I was drawn by the celebrity clientele. I was more than happy to spend $750 for a PERFECT tuxedo for my wedding. Art comes in the room for about 5 minutes - chalks me up, sticks a few pins in the pants and tells me I'm good to go. What he does is pass the work to his staff, young guys that are OK tailors but you'd do far better at Lizon or somewhere with an experienced guy actually doing the work. I ended up with a nice fitting tux and an ill fitting shirt that required multiple rounds of alterations 2 days before my wedding. Art didn't even show up for this - I sat with his tailor who basically just followed my instructions - the shirt came out ok in the end but the arms were uneven so one cuff extended further than the other. I also had him put in button stud holes on my shirt. He forgot to do it the first time, when I came back the second time they were uneven and created pull in the shirt - an error they were never able to correct. He had 2 weeks to pull it off before my wedding - I looked pretty good after 3 visits but for the cash he commands I wanted perfection. Go to your local tailor - save $600 read more

Through the use of his internet site, I contacted Mr. Art Lewin in August of 2017. In the message, I expressed to Mr. Lewin my desire to improve my image so that I may be a better role model for my students, as I had recently become a new College Professor. I explained to Mr. Lewin I had several off the rack Sports Coats/Blazers, and a few vests which I had purchased over the years but had rarely ever used. I also explained in the message that I had recently been doing research and was newly learning about how clothes should properly fit individual body types and shapes, and more so, the overall art of style and its positive impacts. I also explained to Mr. Lewin, I had recently tried a tailor in my area of residence, but the results were very disappointing. Mr. Lewin replied to my message himself in less than two hours, it's important to note, I had sent the message late in the evening on a Sunday. Mr Lewin, expressed his excitement to help me improve my image for the students, and provide a professional recommendation. His Wife Jamie contacted me the very next day, and she also reflected the same excitement to help me in my endeavor. My first meeting in September 2017 at Art Lewin Bespoke at the Beverly Hills location was amazing. Mr. Lewin and his assistant Doug were waiting for my arrival to perform a fitting of the jackets and vests I had mentioned in my online message. They were extremely professional, precise, and very friendly. Mr. Lewin during my visit gave me advice and insight into clothing fit and tailoring, and he also expressed his sincere excitement for what I was trying to achieve. Mr. Lewin spent quality time taking measurements and asking questions about my aspirations. The facility was immaculate, and very well organized with high end clothing and accessories. The fitting area had commendable mirrors and excellent lighting where Mr. Lewin himself took measurements for the clothing fit modifications to be performed. My second visit in October to the Beverly Hills location to complete the final fitting of my modified clothes, was again a remarkable experience. Mr. Lewin was again present, along with his Wife Jamie Lewin who I was very pleased to meet, as she was so nice during interactions to setup appointments for fittings etc. Mr. Lewin again spent quality time ensuring the modifications met my wishes, and explained in detail the clothing changes that were implemented to meet my body shape dimensions and requirements. The entire experience was amazing, and the final fitment of the modified clothing is fantastic. I have received many compliments already utilizing the clothing in the professional environment, along with receiving compliments in general use during public functions. In closing, during the entire process, regarding my interactions with Mr. Lewin himself, and his business team, I would consider him among the best in dealing with people, and in helping individuals to improve their image both professionally and personally. I got my goddamn wedding tuxedo here and Art and his wife are just about the two too freshest mother fo's in the whole land. He guaranteed I would like the way I looked but not any of that men's wearhouse bullshit. And he delivered. The tuxedo was expensive (all bespoke clothing usually is) but he has his own manufacturing team in downtown Los Angeles and so he could get it done faster than any other human clothier in Hollywood. I got a black pinstripe tuxedo with tails, with black satin accents: there isn't another suit like it on the planet. I went through over two hundred million photographs to draw that conclusion and I stand by its validity with a shotgun. If you are doing something that requires a suit that will become an heirloom (tomato), Art Lewin is your guy. He made my toddler body look like a chiseled Adonis with a fair sized phallus. I've returned with yet my 4th suit to get altered(keep in mind it's Hugo Boss suit, which should already be ready to wear) but Art Lewin added his touch to it and came out fitting like a glove.
