Never had much interest in color analysis but wanted to give it a try so booked an appointment and wow.. changed my whole point of view. First of all, Esther was truly amazing. She was very thorough with explaining everything and she was just so kind! I was always curious to get my color analysis done and when my friend managed to snag a reservation, we grabbed a couple more friends to go as a group for that day. Getting a reservation was extremely hard and it books up extremely fast. We had tried going in once bookings opened but literally one minute later it was all filled up. We really only got a spot for a group of 4 because she announced on Instagram that she had an opening literally the day after we tried to book. So, tip is to have notifications on for the IG page if you can't get a spot in the bookings. Once your appointment is confirmed, you receive an email with a few instructions of what to do before you arrive at your appointment, such as preparing up to 8 makeup products to bring, and taking a few pictures of outfits that you usually wear, or of your closet. We started out the appointment by showing Esther our makeup products and then showing her our outfits just so that she can get a sense of what our typical styles are. We also took a little survey so that she gets even more of an idea of what sorts of styles and colors that we are more drawn to. After that was the fun part where she took each of us and draped all the colors over us to see which ones flatter us more. Esther took great care in analyzing each of us thoroughly, and showing us which colors looked better than others and why. She also gave some style tips like what to wear away from the face and what can be worn closer, as well as eyeglass styles and eyebrow shapes. If something didn't flatter us as well as other things, she was also very nice about it. The whole visit was fun and informative, and she even gave us celebrities to keep an eye on that matches our subseason so that we can use them as reference for colors. My friend booked us a duo session as part of my birthday present and it was so fabulous! Esther is so great! She has the perfect disposition for consultations. Warm and inviting, you just want to be friends with her. I have no sense of what looks good on me, how to do makeup, how to do hair - none of it. Turns out, I was wearing all the wrong colors and makeup! She gasped in horror at my orange tinted makeup, lol. A couple of days later, we received a full breakdown of recommendations and a summary of our visit. I loved getting all the products I should be buying. This was such an incredible experience! Esther was so wonderful to work with. I did a solo session in early November 2025. She had me fill out a short one-page survey upon arrival that was very easy to complete. Then the draping began and my best colors made themselves pretty clear pretty quickly. I was so surprised to hear that my skintone has no red in it whatsoever, and when I'm wearing a color that isn't so flattering on me, my skin pulls yellow. I went my whole life thinking I had yellow/warm undertones when I am actually cool-toned. I got recommendations on my best neutrals, best colors, second best colors, and worst colors along with photos. You have the option to video your session or just take photos. I opted for photos because I didn't want to think about watching what I say or do for a video. I then got to try on different cosmetic colors (dispensed from a sanitized tube with a single-use doe foot applicator for lips, sanitized for a Merit cream blush) that she recommended to see how they lit up my whole face. We also tried different eyebrow shapes, glasses frame shapes, I really couldn't believe the level of detail this consultation went into. Even got recommendations on fragrances, pieces of clothing to exemplify the vibe of my season, the works. This is really for anyone who's looking to level up their personal styling and image, and it was worth every penny for me. We had our session back in August and we loved every second of it! We were a group of 4 and Esther was so accommodating to us through the booking process. Pro tip: appointments go up before the month start and she gets booked up VERY quickly. It was like getting concert tickets lmao. If you aren't able to get an appointment keep your post notifs on IG, sometimes she'll post if there is a cancellation. The parking is decent as well so it was nice to not worry about it, once you book you'll receive a detailed email about where to go and park. Esther was thorough and considerate and answered all our questions. Not only was she knowledgeable but she was incredibly sweet and kind. We walked home w/ such detailed notes and videos of our analysis! Not only does she look at your best colors but we go over jewelry, makeup, hair colors, glasses, and even eyebrow shapes. My favorite part was when she gave us a celebrity inspo that had a similar season to us - I got Sunmi! What was crazy to me is actually seeing the difference certain colors have on your appearance during our analysis. Esther doesn't confine you to one season or palette. She gives you a range of what may suit you best from each of the different seasons along with listing your best and second best palettes. I visited this business with a friend for a color analysis, and unfortunately, we had a disappointing experience. The consultant provided us with incorrect color assessments and did not seem knowledgeable about the process. Her demeanor was unfriendly, and it appeared she didn't understand her own color theories. For some reason, we sensed some underlying jealousy? Afterwards, we reached out to the woman to express our dissatisfaction, only for her to remain overly confident about her incorrect evaluations. Seeking a second opinion, I got a more accurate color analysis in Tokyo with some one else and even confirmed my results with an AI machine at Shiseido, which confirmed that I am definitely a cool winter. Esther said I was a summer pale but those colors made my dark circles more apparent. She also mentioned my friend is a cool winter, which was not true after a second opinion. I'm glad we didn't listen to Esther and waste a ton of money and time buying clothes that did not look the best or make us feel the best on us. Initially, I hesitated to write this review because the business was new, but I am still upset about wasting $175 each and two hours of our time after driving in LA traffic& I'm still thinking about how terrible the results were. I was looking at a few other places before deciding on this studio and I'm so glad I ended up coming here. I was a little nervous coming into this experience, but Esther was extremely sweet! She's also knowledgeable and explains everything really well. All I wear is black these days and was hoping to expand my wardrobe and get some makeup tips since I usually buy colors that don't really work for me.
