There is a wide selection of beer all affordably priced. There are plenty of snacks to be had too. If one tells the management in advance one can get a feed for a few if there is a funeral wake on or something of that nature. This public house is opposite the one place of worship in Eyeries (na hAorai aus Galeige). After mass spiritually rejuvenated communicants are wont to slake their thirst in this most estimable of establishments. There is a big telly and they show sports matches - particularly the English and Welsh premiership and indeed GAA matches. When matches are on the place is packed the perfervid ambience is akin to what one would anticipate finding upon the terraces of a footer stadium

We knocked on the door and looked in the windows. Soon the door opened and the innkeeper, Don Harrington happily opened the door and poured us a couple of pints, even though he wasn't really open for business at the time. We sat at the end of the pub in front of a large picture window with a lovely view of Kenmare Bay. Don was quite friendly and seemed to enjoy chatting with us Yanks.
