I had a negative experience picking up and dropping off here. My ( very small) girlfriend was given boots that were her shoe size however they were extremely wide and bulky which caused her to be unable to ski more than one day due to shin bruises. When we came to return our rentals, The very nice lady with blue hair explained to us that the fitting was the reason for her pain. I asked her why my gf wasn't fitted properly and as she said " I'm not sure, i wasn't there that day" ( very appropriate response), the manager ( in earshot) who was present the day we picked our rentals did a u turn and disappeared avoiding all accountability. Would've loved to be able to ski without wasting $200 in one day! read more

Went in to pick up an online reservation and dealt with Elycia during this process. As someone fairly new to skiing, I had several questions and she kept interrupting me and talking down to me. She had the nastiest attitude throughout the experience. I tried just getting through til the end but even when getting to the poles and asking her about a previous experience she again knocked it down, and I finally stopped her. Instead of apologizing she went on to say she was in the right and had done nothing wrong before walking off. If it wasn't for Derrick that changed the mood of it at the end I would have just asked for my money back. People come in spending $200+. Train your staff to be better. Just browsing around getting my brother outfitted we found ourselves some great deals throughout the store. Not much attention from the sales staff but that was ok as we helped ourselves in our search. I was able to find more stuff that even I didn't know I needed but had to have. Equipment was in fairly good condition for being second hand. It was good little spot for your snow sports items. read more

I've heard a lot of things about this place so I opted to go with them. I booked my RSVP online, which is cheaper than just walking in. The kicker is that I actually couldn't go the day I originally booked for but it was a non-issue to push it back a day, which was great because it was just one less thing I had to stress about. When I walked in they had my paperwork and had me fitted within minutes. Everyone was super knowledgable and they taught me a couple small things I didn't know. They also provided some suggestions that I might take up in the future. Overall, between the skis and gear and the service it is very hard not to love these guys. read more

This Breeze location has been behind the ball the entire time I've worked with them this season, and this latest customer service experience was even more disappointing. Through a series of events, including snow, ice, and a truly unfortunate situation with my car getting stuck, I was not able to return my demo skiis in time, and needed a small 6 hour extension on return time. The representative on the line was rude, terse, and not understanding at all. Additionally, this location has been less knowledgable and fast than other locations. My entire experience has been sub-par, I have not felt great about my experience, and I will recommend other companies to friends and family in the future. read more

RIP OFF PRICING! 3X as expensive as other rental places, hence the 2 star review. No complaints on Service. We rented snow shoes on at 3.30 on a Sunday afternoon. To my surprise it was $25 (most places are $7-12 for a full day. Additionally, the snow shoes had to be returned by 10.30 the next morning (not a full 24 hour rental). The store was nice and people were friendly. Only complaint is the rip off pricing. read more

I had been shopping for used skis for the past month. This place was a breathe of fresh air compared to the other places I had been. Not only did they take time to explain which skis would best suit my skill level but the recommended skis that were $100 less than the ones I was thinking about. Staff was extremely friendly all three times I worked with them. Board wax and edging is $20 and they took care of it 4 days for me. Loved this place. I came in at 6:30 pm on a holiday and had skis and boots that worked great for me in a half hour. They also have a location on the way back from all the mountains where you can drop your skis if you don't want to make the treck back to the original store. Sales staff is all highly knowledgeable and laid back. You can also purchase your lift ticket for the next day at a slightly discounted price. Highly recommended! read more

These wonderful people were open on CHRISTMAS DAY. CHRISTMAS DAY!!! I was putting my little sister on skis for the first time so I rented the Junior Alpine Package w/ Helmet. The total cost was $24.68. They were efficient, helpful, and incredibly cheerful despite having to work on Christmas. Although I've never checked out their season rentals, I've had friend who have rented through them for the season and have had good experiences. I give Breeze two-enthusiastic thumbs up! As new Coloradans, we went here to purchase our Colorado Passes this season. Everyone at the store was really nice and very helpful. We had our dog with us when we stopped in and I think he made quite a few friends that day as well! The sales reps explained the various Colorado Pass options to us and told us about a feature we could add-on that would link our passes to a credit card for purchasing food or drinks at the ski resorts. We thought this was an awesome feature because it eliminates the need for carrying cash with you on the slopes! They also had some good deals on ski/snowboard clothing and I snagged myself a great pair of new snowboard pants by Special Blend at about half their original cost. We returned a few weeks later in search of new stomp pads and they were nice enough to mount my bindings to my new board (which had not been purchased at their store) and to swap out my husband's old bindings and mount his new one's free of charge even though we had purchased both my board and his bindings at a different store. Recently, my husband took his board to Breeze to have it tuned up. He finally had the chance to test it out last weekend and was very pleased with the job they did. All in all, I think this is a great store in a convenient location. Both the sales and service/rental people here are friendly, knowledgeable, and incredibly helpful. We will definitely be frequent visitors to Breeze this season! read more

Not such a great experience. Dropped off two pairs of skis to get tuned and a binding adjustment. After waiting 2.5 weeks I found that they had to remount bindings on Both skis which is a service they don't provide. So I had to pay for the tune up on both pairs and still have to visit another ski shop to remount both bindings after loosing 2.5 weeks in the turnover. One thing I did appreciate was the fact they let me have a free demo pair of skis while I was waiting. It still was an unnecessarily costly year to have a ski tune. read more

My husband and I came here looking for pre-owned ski boots since we weren't ready to commit to brand new expensive equipment. Lisa helped us and was extremely knowledgeable. I had been in ill-fitting for years and that caused me all sorts of problems while skiing. Lisa fitted me in much smaller boys than I was used to and showed me why I needed a slight corrective insole. I've always been a loyal Breeze customer, but today was the most AWFUL rental experience I have ever had. Severely understaffed, line almost out the door, and no system or direction when customers walk in. People were cutting lines and everything. I reserved rentals for my family online and really expected it to take a max of 20 minutes to pick up our skis and boots... We were there for nearly TWO HOURS!!!! To top it off, they mixed up the setting on the bindings for my mom and dad's skis, and both their skis popped off on the mountain for no apparent reason. I will never be back, thanks for an awful day, Breeze!!!! read more

Breeze, especially this location is awesome! I first used them last season for a snowboard rental for a weekend of skiing with my mom and brother. When we went to return our gear they had deals going on their used equipment. I got a snowboard and bindings and my brother got skis and bindings. I didn't get a chance to use it until this season as I live in Southern California. I noticed my boots didn't fit into the bindings well. On my trip to Colorado for a ski weekend this season I decided to stop in to Breeze to see if I could possibly switch them out. LISA IS AWESOME!!! She helped us out both times. I'm not sure if she for sure remembered us, but we remember how great and helpful she was from last year. Either way she totally hooked me up and swapped out my bindings for one that fit my boots better. Not only do we love Breeze, but we love Lisa. If you're looking for a great experience and want someone who is knowledgable and cares about what's in your best interest, then ask for Lisa! Seriously she will not disappoint. read more

I have always had a good experience here. We have rented seasonal skis for my four kids for over 10 years. A couple years we tried other places; but Breeze provides the best service and a good selection of gear, and we always rent here now. The staff is always nice and good at working with kids, and now teenagers. The staff seem knowledgeable and take the time to be sure boots fit etc. We also like Breeze because they have a good fast system, and we find it easy to get to right off the freeway. read more

Wife and I originally came in to find ski poles and get a tune-up before heading out to Keystone. We flew in from Phoenix and found out my wife's bindings were recalled. The manager cut us a great deal on a new set of skis with bindings at an amazing price and threw in an extra tune up. We were floored by their generosity. I struggle between 3 and 4 stars with this review - we have rented from Breeze several times, every time we have gone snowboarding/skiing, in fact. We have always rented skis and once we purchased used snowboard boots because we already have a board. Peter, who I think is a manager, is always supremely helpful and very nice. Most of the staff is, although I have had a snarky encounter from one lady once when dropping off my skis - I advised her that for some reason, this time my skis were super hard to pop on and they may want to check them out. I wasn't mean or rude about it, just, 'Hey by the way,' you know? She retorted kind of testily saying "Well it was probably just too much snow on your boots." ..... Um....I know to clear the snow before popping my boots into place, and there wasn't any because it was before we even hit the slopes or walked on any snow.... Anyways no big deal. I will say that one weekend (apparently the biggest weekend ever for skiing, which we did not realize) we had put in our reservations on Thursday per normal, to pick up Saturday night and bring back Sunday night, per normal. When we got there Saturday night, they still had not printed our reservation and so once they did and pulled our sizes, it turned out that they were out of my husbands size boot. And the next size down. And the next size up. Since it was already close to 6 pm we couldn't find rentals anywhere else so had to cancel our trip. We have passes to Copper and were just going ourselves, so it wasn't a big deal, but for someone else it could have been a real bind. Plus we had to wait 2 days to refund our money since you have to call in to get a refund and they were already closed that night as well as Sunday. I think the stores should have direct control over this, but that's just me. If you are renting on a busy ski/board weekend and worry about this kind of thing like I do, I recommend calling earlier on the day you are supposed to pick up and asking them to make sure your reservation is printed and tagged so you aren't stuck without gear right before your trip. Just in case :) I also have had issues with their boots before- not that Ski boots are supposed to be comfortable, but towards the end of the season I have noticed that a lot of their stuff is less and less....nice? The last two pairs of boots I rented have given me blisters and bruises (in different spots) even though I adjusted and re-adjusted to make sure they fit just right. Maybe this is just because they are used so much, and if you are going to ski and like it, and go often, I recommend getting your own boots anyways like I will next year. Its just better. All in all, great place to rent, they are helpful and friendly and usually have what you need to make a great run. read more

Just called looking to do a 2-day turnaround on edges & wax but the guy on the phone told me around 5-6 days since they only have 1 guy that does the tunes. They are the cheapest around ($20) and first come first serve so when I asked if I could pay a bit extra for quick turnaround he said sorry, no can do, but gave me the name of one of their local competitors who could. I decided to rent skis in Denver before heading up to the mountains and my friend who lives locally recommended Breeze in Lakewood and after reading previous reviews I gave them a try. I am so happy I did. Sean Gregory, the Manager, was very friendly and spent time understanding what type of skier I was and what the ski conditions would be before recommending the best set of skis. I had the best day skiing I've ever had, and I will definitely be back to Breeze to rent next time. Also, due to a change in weather conditions, I was able to return the skis to another Breeze location in Frisco so that I could head straight to the airport. Thanks Breeze! I wanted to get season rentals and got an AWESOME deal on a ski kit (for 5 months I'm paying half of what I paid for a week's rental mid-season last year - you have to do it before Thanksgiving, though) and bought a great helmet that I can't wait to use. The staff was super friendly and helpful and the prices were great. They have lots of gear to pick from and the pricing was comparable to what I saw at the ski and snowboard expo at EXDO over the weekend. Will definitely be back! read more

Great staff! Helpful, knowledgeable, smart, and aren't just trying to make a sale. They've hooked up a few items for me, and cut a great deal on some used demos that I've had my eye on for some time. As I work nearby, I'm in a lot, mainly just checking out stuff, and they are sure to leave me to my own devices, and know I'll ask for help if I need it. Good store, great employees, and a good atmosphere to find what you need at discounted prices. Don't go to the high-end places that charge high-end prices; come here and get the same stuff in great condition for MUCH less. read more

I truly cannot say enough positive things about this place and the staff that helped me! I have always owned skis until the past couple of years. So I went in to rent skis for my first time ever and had a great experience doing so. Jack and Pal were incredible and much more knowledgable than I would have ever guessed! They really took their time with me to ensure I was not only happy with the way my items looked (I know it sounds dumb but I am a girl and I can't help it) but they also really made sure I felt comfortable in my gear which even I know is of the utmost importance on the mountain. I also ended up purchasing some gear which was priced really well! I plan on doing all my shopping at this Breeze from now on and most definitely won't go anywhere else for rentals. I have already recommended that my friends go see Jack and the team, they were so helpful and kind. Now I can't wait for the mountains to open so I can go get some use out of my new gear!! read more
