Leif is super knowledgable and was super prompt to answer questions through email and the phone before I stepped foot in the shop.

*UPDATE* The owners reached out to me personally to make things right. Couldn't be happier!…read more I've been overlanding since before Covid. I currently have a 3yr old Roofnest Hardshell RTT. I've gotten my money's worth, but the quality sucks. Even though I had a protective cover, the shell started cracking after 1yr. Roofnest's support sent us the equivalent of "Tough-as-Nails" to seal it ourselves (as opposed to shipping it back for a replacement). So then I thought, to hell with the cover and I sprung to have it Line-X coated. Still it continued to crack. With spring here I want a replacement and I started looking at their competitors and landed on Freespirit. Although the build quality looks nice, I'll never know how it holds up because after a month (March 8th to April 8th) of dealing with their new sales person (I won't list names) and trying to buy one for myself, they have been playing games and pushed me to take my business elsewhere. I drove 2hrs there and 2hrs home to check out their showroom and products, I wanted to make a deal then and there but the salesperson said he couldn't without the owner. So then they started the back and forth via email (let me check with the owner) until the March 10% sale was over (so I missed that), then, he (salesperson) changed the purchase package to get me to pay for things that I didn't want and was not part of the agreed upon purchase. Ultimately I had to tell them I was no longer interested in dealing with their company. Of course no response to my pleasantly worded dissatisfaction. Wish I could get in touch with the owner directly to see if the problem is the salesperson, or company culture (but email and calls funnel through the sales person). If anyone questions the legitimacy of my claim I am happy to forward all email correspondence with their sales department.

I cannot say enough good things about this company. Freespirit rec has been hands down the absolute…read morebest company I've ever worked with as far as customer service goes. They truly care about their customers and the community they are building. I had a couple long phone calls with them directly as I was deciding which rooftop tent to purchase. They understood I was preparing to make a large purchase and they patiently answered all of my questions and guided me through which tent would best suit my needs. They were kind enough to extend a bit of a discount to help with the initial cost since I was bundling a couple large items together (including an awning). I decided to go with the Evo 2! The tent and awning and accessories arrived quickly and with no issues. Install was easy enough. Every time I reached out via phone and email along the way, someone immediately answered or called back asap. I went on a few trips and within a couple trips, one of the pockets and the attic in the tent ripped off from the seams. I called them and explained what happened, they were so kind on the phone and apologetic, trying to find the quickest way to make this situation 'right'. They offered to send a replacement tent skin to me with no charge. They took my tent skin back to do some R&R and figuring out ways to improve that seam issue at the pocket! Josh (who I have been communicating with) just happened to be traveling near my home and offered to help me install it as well! during his vacation he took the time to help me install the new tent skin. During the install we chatted and I learned even more about FSR and the family and community they are building there. I am bought in for life, this company and the way they treat their customers is unmatched. Not even to mentioned how amazing the products are! (Which they absolutely are). This is the best looking tent on the market, incredibly comfortable as well and the quality overall is fantastic. My entire experience with FSR has been nothing but incredible. I'm happy to be an FSR owner and can't wait to see what new products come from them in the near future.

David Spade isn't helping these stores much. The whole place is basically a Ross for the outside,…read morejust rows and rows and rows of shirts and pants with all the oddities tucked away in the corners. They do have a massive wall of dog beds, if you're a furry friend enjoyer. Though, it does have redeeming qualities, of course. They do carry some Carhardt branded clothing for much cheaper than your usual stores. I also did find myself a good pair of shorts that fit, which are basically pants to a goblin like myself. But they do keep on brand with random canoos sprinkled everywhere.

New! Just opened in October of 2019 and the location is massive!…read more Always hit or miss at a Sierra selection wise. This location is well stocked and has a deep selection of styles and sizes. Front right of the store is all camping equipment. Front left is luggage and duffle bags. They have all travel items like RFID blocking wallets, backpacks, and fanny packs. Clothing all through the center and a few electronics closer to the registers. Back section is split betterment's changing rooms, clothes for kids, toys, and pet items. I was surprised how small the clothing section was for children. Teens to youngg adults will find a lot but certainly slim pickings for young children. This pet section is insane. Walls full of dog beds. All materials and sizes. Poop bags, harnesses, leashes, treats, shampoo, EVERYTHING. Well worth stopping in just to check out the selection. Shoes line one wall and that rounds out the store. They really wanted to go big with this new location it seems. Checkout line was quick even with one register open. At peak times I'm sure they have all five registers open. Store flow and layout does a great job spacing out customers so I'm sure you won't wait long.
