Used to be good. My dog was there over Labor Day weekend and came back smelling like urine and kennel cough. Never. Again.

My dogs love to go here, and the prices are good. Our dogs enjoy their stay, and I don't have to worry about them. Great place!

I am constantly passing this place. It looks great! But how do you get into it?…read more I have applied on-line to have my Killer Corgi assessed but we never seem to get in and no one ever calls me to sign Charlie up for a bath. I have kind of lost interest in using them. They must not need new clients. My neighbors rave about their experience with the place. I don't know with the road construction at 8 Mile Rd if I really WANT to try them I have viewed the video. It looks nice. Poor Charlie. Maybe he's being discriminated against because he's a vicious breed?

We were intrigued by Buddy Boarding where dogs are only in kennels for meals and to sleep, and they spend the rest of the day romping and playing with their furry friends outside. Knowing this was Henry's first time away, we felt this was a good option to allow him to socialize and wear himself out each day so he wouldn't miss us too much. Each dog is required to go for a temperament test (aka a free day of daycare) to be evaluated on how they interact with people and other dogs. Clearly he had a great time because he was totally exhausted and slept all evening! Buddy Boarding also posts photos throughout the day on their PawPartner platform so you can see your pup having fun! The website is also super user-friendly and allows you to make reservations, upload vaccination records, enter their food/medical needs, and more all in one location. We received photos regularly of Henry while we were gone and could tell he was having an amazing time. When we came to pick him up, he didn't want to leave. He definitely played hard because he basically slept for the next 3 days straight while trying to recover. This was the perfect fit for our puppy and we will definitely be a returning customer.

I get reminders when visits are due and these visits are easy to schedule. Sometimes I end up waiting a bit for my appointment in the waiting room but they take as much time as needed with my pups so I'm ok with it. The shining stars at this clinic are Dr Phillips for medical assessment and Dr. Frick for surgical assessment and treatment. Evidence based medicine is evolving slowly in veterinary care but this office is as up to speed as an office can be. If you have a sick pet Dr Phillips will take the time to talk with you and assess the dog. He is comfortable discussing a plan with your input. I appreciate the fact that he includes my input in treatment plans. I have been to a previous office where I never saw the vet... I found this a bit odd. Dr Frick has excellent surgical skills. I have taken pups with chronic pain, behavioral issues, and heartworm (I foster) to this office and have had great results with this team. They are also available 24 hours a day for emergencies in pets under their care (pets who have had regular visits). They are very supportive of rescues. I would not hesitate to take any pet here, but I would especially recommend them for the more complicated cases, as they have the compassion and skill to address these well.

When we had to euthanize our beloved dog last September, a vet we'd never seen and a tech came in. No empathy whatsoever. I wasn't prepared for the howl of pain when they gave him the first injection, he had never let out a howl like that in his life. . That guilt has stayed with us to this day, it was needless. When our other dog was put to sleep with another vet they gave him an oral dose to put him in a deep sleep before injecting him and it was very peaceful. This still haunts us, he was such a good dog and part of our family. I thought it would be peaceful. For him. He didn't deserve pain as his last moment.
