There is ample parking out front or on the side of the building. They are currently offering curbside if you'd like to stay in your car. Having frequented many pet stores over the years, if this was closer to my house it would be a go -to. The inside isn't fancy, its no frills, but the staff is so nice and knowledgeable, the selection is great, and the prices are good too! Right when you walk in there is an aisle full of pet lover stuff for the owners, including shirts, posters and keychains. They have a huge selection of high quality dog foods, and even bigger selection of dog treats, tons of toys (including some unique that I've never seen), beds, leashes and more. They offer boarding, daycare, and training classes in an area behind the retail store. While I was there several people were picking up their pets. I have kind of lost interest in using them. They must not need new clients. My neighbors rave about their experience with the place. I don't know with the road construction at 8 Mile Rd if I really WANT to try them I have viewed the video. It looks nice. Poor Charlie. We were intrigued by Buddy Boarding where dogs are only in kennels for meals and to sleep, and they spend the rest of the day romping and playing with their furry friends outside. Knowing this was Henry's first time away, we felt this was a good option to allow him to socialize and wear himself out each day so he wouldn't miss us too much. Each dog is required to go for a temperament test (aka a free day of daycare) to be evaluated on how they interact with people and other dogs. Clearly he had a great time because he was totally exhausted and slept all evening! Buddy Boarding also posts photos throughout the day on their PawPartner platform so you can see your pup having fun! The website is also super user-friendly and allows you to make reservations, upload vaccination records, enter their food/medical needs, and more all in one location. We received photos regularly of Henry while we were gone and could tell he was having an amazing time. When we came to pick him up, he didn't want to leave. He definitely played hard because he basically slept for the next 3 days straight while trying to recover. This was the perfect fit for our puppy and we will definitely be a returning customer.

Owners are very nice. The workers are not caring like blue ridge kennel or even the hospital that took over. Our dog came back dirty and with kennel cough. My wife was appalled at the workers. They didnt care and told her so. The place was closed when she came to pickup the dog even though it was 10am. The dog was dying to go to the bathroom when she got home. He wouldnt eat for days. The worker made a comment about this being just a job. She came a few days in advance to fill out the paperwork. When she checked in the person had no clue and it was the same person. The other reviews are obviously from friends.
