I told them that afaik this is his first groom visit since I recently rescued him. When I picked him up, the groomers said he did amazing. He also looks amazing! I love how they cut him. He really needed it, he was stinky and his fur was a little ratty. I brushed him but he needed a nice new start. They gave him exactly that! He smells so good too. Kittyboy was so happy after!! After our favorite dog groomer unexpectedly closed its doors -- we tried this little shop in Florence! It was easy enough to make an appointment on their website -- although the shop called me the day before my initial appointment to say the groomer we'd been scheduled with was suddenly going on maternity leave and that they needed to reschedule us. Totally understand that you can't control that -- so we pushed our pup's appointment back a bit. This morning when I dropped our doggo off, the place was already packed. I took this as a good sign - they're in high demand! I appreciated that the actual groomer who was going to be working with my dog came out to talk with me about what I wanted done. Since our dog is double-coated, I don't like having him shaved, and I've found that it's important to specially request a hand-trim. Just about two hours later, the shop called to say he was all done! I'm pretty impressed they finished his grooming so quickly -- considering how busy they were. My fiancé picked our pup up ... but said he must have caught the front desk at a bad time, because they were taking bites of their lunch in between checking him out. Our handsome pup was returned to us exactly as requested -- with his "lion's mane" and "butt feathers" hand-trimmed, his nails cut and his fur freshly bathed. Asked groomer to leave at least 1" length on my 1 yr. old 10# Shihpoo, she clipped so close to the skin causing clipper burn on genitals. Blamed it on matting. I told them he had some mats on legs due to snow and girl agreed. I brushed him that morning no mats anywhere but his legs, I guess, clipping him down to the skin must have been easier for groomer. He woke up 3:30am next morning in pain crying, his genitals red & swollen he kept licking, size of a red grape, and couldn't sit down, took him to vet, bacteria infection from him licking the area, he suffered for 2 weeks no appetite no activity, on meds 3 weeks. I contacted Klassy K9 she said it was My fault because the dog was matted and refused to compensate for vet bill. Groomer requested a meeting then wouldn't come out of back room but heard her talking to the owner. Owner came to desk very angry & loud, highly unprofessional, turned into a shouting match. Mailed pictures, vet bill, letter twice, no response. Very disappointed in this business, especially the way they reacted to a puppy suffering. read more

I was in the Florence area for a couple days for vacation. We were going to see The Ark Encounter and needed a place for my dog for the day. Enter Klassy K-9! They were so great to work with! I was able to get my guy in for a full day of doggie day care, like he is used to at home. The indoor facilities were great, because I didn't have to worry about my Staffy overheating, which he is prone to. Finding facilities that accepts pitties can be rough, but not here! They understood him and kept him active most of the day, because he was exhausted when we got to the hotel. So we consider his day seized! Staff was so friendly and truly enjoyed the dogs. Can't recommend them enough! read more

This place is disgusting. I get home to see my dog groomed as I finally check and observe her. She has uneven patches. and wounds and rashes to her stomach and under her inner front paws. My poor baby I can only imagine what she went through and how they treated her here. Never again!! Truly sickening!! How dare they work with any animal with such carelessness. The rashes and wounds are all under her front inner (armpit) paws not just simple random scratches!! So disturbed by this!! She smells like they sprayed perfume on her and didn't even wash her. Upon booking this appointment the woman on the phone said "we just take your word for it and trust people that their dogs are up to date" (with their vaccines). That should of been the first sign that this place is not safe for any animal. They clearly do not check for up to date documents on most pets. Please consider these pictures before taking in your baby to this horrid place. They do not deserve anyone's business if this is the result of their work. I can't believe they did this to her. dropped my dog off at noon and waited until 5:00 before she was finished and was shocked they shaved her completely from head to tail they stated she was matted I bathe the dog every month and brush her, I understand that with long hair it can be difficult however I believe that It was due to overbooking or under qualified help. Also while I waited in the waiting area for my dog for 2 hours there were 5 children running around from age 2 to 11 in and out of the office into the parking lot.Eating pizza and playing from the parking lot to the office to the back room were the dogs are groomed.So needless to say there was a great distraction in the groomers business having children back where they take care of the dogs.I also understand that daycare can be expensive for your children and having them at your work place can be very convenient however they should have some kind of supervision! I'm sorry to say I am no longer going to this groomers. I am speaking for my dog this fur baby was not treated with care. read more

My granddaughter took her dog In there a week ago and I recieved not only a greasy dog but she had 9 pounds of perfume on her ,which makes me believe she wasnt even washed. The haircut was horrid, and very uneven. When I walked in to pick up my dog there was urine all over the floor. Over all I would not recommend this place to anyone. read more

We use Klassy K-9 for their doggy daycare. They do structured learning games that complement the training program we enrolled in at PetSmart. Our dog is physically and mentally tired when he comes home. Jackie has done an amazing job with our dog. We love that they give us updates when we pick him up and post pictures to Facebook. read more
