I didn't know over 55+ sounds a certain way. She was so rude. We went there and looked and while the place seems decent the best spots (the ones that have river views) are reserved for short term spots which is crazy to me. Then it says during peak times they limit awning use... this didn't make sense to me. An RV spot is the same size regardless if you all are at capacity or not, what does awning use have to do with it? We opted out and went somewhere else then heard from others that that the couple that runs the place are really difficult specifically the woman and there is constant fighting between the two of them for all to see. I guess it's better we didn't stay.. I really would have loved that river view though.

The manager is a nice young man and was very helpful with helping us get our RV backed in and he assisted us when we had issues with getting one of our RV stabilizers down. You see him around cleaning and taking care of things in the park. Parking is a little tight, as it's a smaller community, but we're happy and looking forward to our stay here.

Pelican's Landing RV Resort is very well managed and extremely neat and clean--each site has a deck or pavered pad with a picnic table with an umbrella and two nice stationary adirondack chairs. They pay attention to every detail to make your stay as comfortable as possible. We love being able to walk down to the dock with our morning coffee (and/or evening cocktails) to meet the other campers or have a nice chat with the friendly staff. And the sunrises and sunsets are amazing. Looks like there might be some good fishing from the dock and we tried out a few kayaks in the river--saw some dolphins. Awesome fun! There is a WalMart and Publix grocery store within a few miles as well as a bait shop and a great little farmer's market just a short bike ride south. Also, be sure to check out the most awesome nature trail called the Jungle Trail. It will take you to Pelican Island National Wildlife Refuge which is the first National Wildlife Refuge established in the United States. I applied to live at the campground. The property manager called me and informed me that I did not…read moresign the bottom line so she could not authorize my background check. I asked her if I could authorize it over the phone she said no. I asked her if I could authorize it over email, she told me no. It was planned that I would come in later at the end of the week after my trip was over to come and sign the paperwork. Then she informed my boyfriend that he did not get approved to live there. So I called and I wanted my electric deposit back and to make sure I was not going to get charged for the upcoming month (since we never technically moved in, we were just paying rent to save our spot) and to get my $50 for my background check back because she told me they could not run it without my signature. She then informed me that she already ran my background check. I said that's really weird and shady because you told me you couldn't do it without my signature. And she was just standing on that she is not giving back my money because they already ran it. I don't even care about getting the money back at the principal is you told me that you could not run my background check and then you hung up the phone and proceeded to do it anyways. That is so unprofessional and the way the property manager handled it (I know if I say her name it's easier for her to take this review down but it starts with a K) I said, proceeded to ask the corporate number and she flat out told me no. Refused to give me a corporate number and then she gave me an email that is her work email. I think it's really shady that you're gonna act that way and then refuse to let anybody report it. I was about to stay at this campground for the next 1 to 5 years. And honestly, this must be a blessing in disguise that I don't need to be near that woman because even when I stayed her the previous year, she had a nasty attitude. I just hope this review helps other people protect themselves in the future because this company will dance along the line of doing illegal things behind your back. I had no problem if they had run the background check, the principal of this is that you told me you could not, hung up the phone, and then we ended it anyway without my knowledge.

Friendly yet private and what a view. Close to everything with restaurants,grocery, walking paths and of course wildlife in the lagoon and rockets launching into space on a regular basis! Orlando is close by as are the airports. Hot shower in clean facilities with laundry that's affordable. Short or long stay I would recommend. They came out and replaced some defective siding, however, they covered half of the trailer with a tarp for a week while they fixed it. No credit for the inconvenience. With a large RV we were able to navigate the route into the park and into our site. Hookup was easy and we settled in quite fast. Location: Although Cocoa may not seem like a 'happening' location, it was nice and quiet for our stay. Lots of campers/RVs in the park and no noise. Barely seen anyone else to be honest. Bathrooms: Clean every day. Showers: Clean and water was nice and hot Cost: Appropriate cost for the season, which could have been higher since the snow birds are settling in right now and that's when the rates go up. Staff: super friendly and informative. I would definitely recommend this park! Call ahead of time to reserve a spot because as we are finding out, places fill quickly.

We've been coming here for 3 years now. We have a RV and stay at a site. We're a little…read moredisappointed this year. There's a lot of construction going on and a trailer that hauls in equipment parked at the empty site next to us when there is a whole row of empty rv sites. Our grill looks like it's been through WW2. And has no propane in it. People take their big dogs to the dog park and don't clean up after them. On the plus side the pool is nice. Most of the rv sites are big rig friendly. The town of Jensen Beach is quaint and within walking distance. I'm not entirely sure if I would recommend this place. They charge 3,400.00 a month for a rv site! At this price I would expect a lot more than what is offered. Like walking distance to the beach!
